PENGGUNAAN METODE DEMONSTRASI BERBANTUAN FLIP CHART UNTUK MEREMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI SISWA TENTANG GETARAN DI SMP
Abstract: The aim of this research is to reveal the effectiveness usage of demonstration method by use flip chart media on remediation students misconception about vibration material in class VIII SMP Swasta Nurul Islam Sui Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. The research method which is used is experimental with project One Group Pretest-Post Test Design with research sample of 23 students. Result of data analysis shows degradation of students misconception after remediation for about 40,43%. Demonstration method with flip chart media are effective for remediation student misconception toward the material with average percentage proportion ?S = 44,8 % (average category). Hopefully, this research can be use as an alternative remediation activity for improve the student misconception on vibration material. Keywords: Remediation, misconception, demonstration, flip chart Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode demonstrasi berbantuan media flip chart dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang materi getaran di kelas VIII SMP Swasta Nurul Islam Sui Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 23 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan miskonsepsi siswa setelah diberikan remediasi sebesar 40,43%. Metode demonstrasi berbantuan media flip chart efektif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi getaran dengan rata-rata persentase harga proporsi ?S = 44,8% (kategori sedang). Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Novick Untuk Meremediasi Miskonsepsi Siswa Pada Hukum Archimedes Di SMP
The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of Novick learning model in remedied student\u27s misconception about Archimedes Law in VIII Grade of SMPN 2 Segedong Kabupaten Mempawah. The research method used the pre-experiment design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. 24 students of VIII-B Grade had followed this research activity until finished. There were 3 results was founded: the average of percentage decrease of student\u27s misconception is 32,95%; the conceptual change occured based on Mc Nemar Test (= 57.65, dk = 1, α = 5%); and the remediaton effectiveness level is middle (the average of ΔS = 0,36). Based on the result, the implementation of Novick learning model was effective on remedied student\u27s misconception. Hopefully, it can become an alternative of learning model in physics instruction
When Things End Sometimes They Go Back to the Beginning
Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectivity of remediation using the feedback form brochures to overcome the learning difficulty of students of uniformly accelerated motion (GLBB) in the class of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak regency academic year 2012/2013 and determine the relationship between students ability to understand the concept of the the ability of student,s to solve problems after remediation. The research method used Pre Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-posttest design. A total of 25 seventh grade students participated in this study. The data analyst show results feedback using the effective brochure remediate learning difficultiy of students with ES = 3.6 is high and there is a significant relationship between students ability to understand the concept of the students ability to problem solving (? = 0.955; ? = 5%, N = 25, ? table 0.409). Keyword: Remediation, Learning Difficulties, Brosure, Efectivity Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi bentuk umpan balik menggunakan brosur untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa tentang gerak lurus berubah beraturan (GLBB) di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pinyuh Kabupaten Pontianak tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dan mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dengan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah setelah remediasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pre Eksperimen Design dengan One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Sebanyak 25 siswa kelas VII berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik menggunakan brosur efektif dalam meremediasi kesulitan belajar siswa dengan Es=3,6 tergolong tinggi dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dengan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah ( = 0,955; = 5%, N= 25, tabel 0,409). Penggunaan Model Problem Based Learning dengan Multirepresentasi pada USAha dan Energi di SMA
The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of implementation problem based learning model with multiple representations in reduce the percentage of students difficulty in XI IPA SMAN 1 Pontianak. The research design is one group pretest-posttest design, and the instrument uses essay test . Test reliability (0, 5) is classified as medium and test validity (3,56) is classified as medium. The effect size of this research (2,18) is classified high but the reduction percentage of the students difficulty (41,33%) is classified as medium. The percentage increase of the students skill in multirepresentation (52,38%) is classified as medium. The research doesnt find significant correlation between the posttest result of students difficulty and the posttest result of students skill in multirepresentation (C = 0,935, p = 0.348). The research result is suggested in the development of implementation problem based learning model with multiple representations approach
Remediasi Menggunakan Multi-representasi Untuk Mengurangi Siswa SMA Yang Tidak Dapat Menyelesaikan Soal Hukum Archimedes
This research aimed to introduce and to train and to apply multi-representation. They were expected to be able to apply multi representation to solve essay questions about Archimedes Law. Research method was pre-experimental design by conducting one group pretest-posttest design. There were 36 students of XI Natural Science in SMA N 7 Pontianak which involved in this research. Essay test with reliability coefficient (0.63) was applied to find out the average number decrease percentage of students who unable to solve the test at pre and post remediation. McNemar test stated that kind of remediation is able to reduce the number of student who unable to solve questions which spread in 4 indicators that are comparing mass in air and in water, sinking phenomena, floating phenomena, and flying phenomena. By applying McNemar test, the researcher obtained (3,84) < (4,92; 10,31; 4,05; 14,06) for db = 1, so there was a change in the number of students who unable to solve the question significantly in all test indicators. Therefore, remediation using multi-presentation was effective to reduce the number of students who unable to solve question in Archimedes Principles Mattter
Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa dengan Model Direct Instruction di SMP
This classroom action research aims to improve students\u27 learning outcomes with the Direct Instruction (DI) model. The subjects in this classroom action research is grade VIIA students of SMPN 13 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015 which consist of 36 students. According to the research data showed that the average of students\u27 learning outcomes in the first cycle is increased to 30.73 and 46.11 for the second cycle. The improvement of students\u27 learning outcomes exhaustiveness in the first cycle is 75%, while in the second cycle increased to 77.78%. Interview data obtained students\u27 response data in responding to the implementation of the DI model, 86.67% of students stated that the material was taught using models DI is easy to understand, 80% of students stated they don\u27t faced any difficulties during studying the model of DI and 77.33% students are assisted to understand and remember the material. Based on these results, we can conclude DI model can improve students\u27 learning outcomes. Moreover, DI model is expected to be the literature for other researchers who has the same study in the future
