Berangkat dari kondisi di atas Proyek Penelitian, Pengkajian,dan Pembinaan Nilai-Nilai Budaya menggali nilai-nilai budaya dari setiap suku bangsa/daerah. Penggalian ini mencakup aspek-aspek kebudayaan daerah dengan tujuan memperkuat penghayatan dan pengamalan Pancasila guna tercapainya ketahanan nasional di bidang sosial budaya. Untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya dilakukan penerbitan hasil-hasil penelitian yang kemudian disebarluaskan kepada masyarakat umum. Upaya Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Kompetensi Dasar Menentukan Teknik Gambar Pelajaran Teknik Survei Lapangan melalui Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi di Kelas X Smk Negeri 5 Medan Ta. 2015/2016

Pengajaran Teknik Survei Lapangan saat ini masih menunjukkan peluang yang luas untuk diadakan upaya perbaikan. Hal ini ditandai dengan masih rendahnya hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa dalam Pembelajaran Teknik Survei Lapangan. Studi awal yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 5 Medan, menunjukkan rata-rata nilai Teknik Survei Lapangan siswa masih di bawah 6,5 atau sekitar 50% yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Selain itu aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran masih tergolong kurang, ini dapat dilihat dari banyaknya siswa yang pasif dalam pembelajaran dan masih enggan untuk bertanya. Metode yang digunakan guru dalam Pembelajaran Teknik Survei Lapangan juga masih tergolong kurang variatif dan lebih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah.Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata pretes siswa sebelum diberikan pembelajaran sebesar 28,0 atau seluruh siswa termasuk belum berhasil. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa (postes) pada siklus I sebesar 64,67 dan secara kelas dinyatakan siswa belum mencapai keberhasilan belajar yaitu hanya 53,3% yang telah berhasil. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa (postes) pada siklus II sebesar 82,0 dan secara kelas siswa telah mencapai keberhasilan belajar yaitu sebesar 93,3% yang telah berhasil. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknik Survei Lapangan pokok bahasan menentukan teknik gambar di kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Meda

Effectiveness of Indonesian Essential Oil Mixture of Lemongrass, Cananga, and Patchouli in Relaxation Through Inhalation: a Clinical Test on Healthy Woman with High Potential for Stress

Relaxation is one of many mechanisms for coping with stress. One of the most widely used methods for relaxation is aromatherapy with the application of essential oils. Known for their therapeutic benefits, essential oils can be extracted from various Indonesian native herbs such as lemongrass (sereh wangi or Cymbopogon winterianus), cananga or ylang-ylang (kenanga or Canarium odoratum), and patchouli (nilam or Pogostemon cabin). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a mixture of Indonesian essential oil made of lemongrass, cananga, and patchouli extracts. Experiment was conducted by asking a number of subjects to inhale the oil mixture and assessing its effectiveness in terms of psychological relaxation by using Visual Analog Scale or VAS) and of physical relaxation by examining the subjects’ blood pressure (MAP), pulse frequency, and breathing frequency. The result was then compared with that of lavender oil and with the control group. The study was conducted on 60 healthy women through single-blind clinical trials (before and after) using the “intent to treat” approach, followed by a startle test. Participants were divided into three groups: (1) 20 participants who were treated with Indonesian essential oil mixture, (2) 20 participants who were treated with lavender oil, and (3) 20 participants who served as the control group. Psychological relaxation measurement showed that Indonesian essential oil mixture produced the same degree of effectiveness as lavender oil and the control groups did, although both treatments tended to produce better results than the control group did. However, physical relaxation measurement showed that Indonesian essential oil mixture produced a higher degree of effectiveness than lavender oil and tended to produce a better result than the control group did, especially in terms of blood pressure based on MAP scores.    &nbsp

Pengaruh Modal Manusia Terhadap Upah Pekerja Pada Sektor Jasa Montir Motor Di Palembang

This study describes the services of motor mechanic workers who work in non-authorized workshops / individuals who have at least 1 motor mechanic spread in Palembang, especially in 16 sub-districts in Palembang. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the survey by conducting longitudinal interviews through prepared cues. Variables used in this study are education, training, work experience and working hours. The parameter parameters of the model are calculated by the OLS method with the help of the Eviews 7 program. Furthermore, an Econometrics Criteria Test is required. The results obtained are that the educational variables, ker ka kercha experience each significant effect on the wage pointing while the variable training is not significant to the wage pointers on motor mechanic services in Palembang

THE EFFECT OF TRUNK MUSCLE EXERCISE ON REDUCING THE RISK OF FALLING IN THE ELDERLY

The biological aging process causes the elderly to experience a decline in physical function such as postural disorders and changes in walking style that make the elderly vulnerable to falls. The purpose of this study is to find out if trunk muscle exercise has an effect on reducing the risk of falling elderly, and to know the risk of falling elderly before and after trunk muscle exercise treatment. The research population is all elderly in the Medical Rehabilitation Installation of Raden Mattaher Jambi Hospital which is at risk of falling by 18 people. The study sample was seniors aged 60-65 years who met the inclusion criteria of 12 people. Given trunk muscle exercise treatment supervised 3 times a week for 2 weeks. The measuring instrument in this study used Timed Up and Go Test. Data analysis using Simple Paired T Test with a confidence level of 95%. Based on the analysis obtained the average risk of elderly fall in Hospital RD Mattaher before treatment is 13.92 and the average risk of falling after treatment is 7.42. There is a significant influence of trunk muscle exercise on the decrease in the risk of falling elderly with p value = 0.000. It is recommended that the elderly continue the exercise program to maintain endurance

Perkembangan Ulat Buah Heliothis Armigera (Lepidoptera:noctuidae) Pada Beberapa Varietas Kacang Kedelai (Glycine Max L.)

PERKEMBANGAN ULAT BUAH Heliothis armigera (Lepidoptera:Noctuidae) PADA BEBERAPA VARIETAS KACANG KEDELAI (Glycine max L.) ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan percobaan untuk melihat pengaruh beberapa varietas kacang kedelai (grobogan, willis, sinabung dan gepakijo) terhadap perkembangan ulat buah Heliothis armigera karena serangga ini adalah hama penting terhadap tanaman ini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh sebutir telur untuk menetas tidak berbeda pada semua varietas yang diujikan. Hal sama juga terjadi pada persentase jumlah telur yang menetas pada keempat varietas tersebuttidak berbeda. Secara umum terlihat bahwa untuk semua parameter yaitu fase larva, fase pupa, fase imago dan keperidian serangga yang dipelihara pada kedelai varietas willis dan sinabung tidak ada perbedaan, tetapi berbeda nyata apabila dibandingkan dengan yang dipelihara pada varietas grobagan. Sedangkan yang berkembang pada varietas grobogan berbeda nyata dengan yang berkembang pada varietas gepak ijo. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa varietas gepak ijo adalah varietas yang paling baik dalam menekan perkembangan serangga H. armigera. Kata kunci: ulat buah, kacang kedelai THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOTON BOLLWORM Heliothis armigera (Lepidoptera:Noctuidae) ON SOME SOYBEAN VARIETIES (Glycine max L.) ABSTRACT Experiments were conducted to see the effect of some soybean varieties (Grobogan, willis, sinabung and gepakijo) on the development of cotton bollworm Heliothis armigera because this insect is an important pest on this crop. The results showed that the time taken by an egg to hatch is not different at all tested varieties. The same thing also happened on the percentage of eggs that hatch in four varieties are no different. In general, it appears that for all the parameters, namely the phase larva, pupa, imago and fecundity of insects reared on soybean varietiess sinabung and willis is no difference, but significantly different when compared to those reared on varieties grobogan. While evolving at significantly different Grobogan varieties that thrive on gepak ijo varieties. It can be concluded that gepak ijo varieties are the best varieties in suppressing the development of H. armigera

Analisa Sistem Pengelolaan Sampah dan Perilaku Pedagang di Pasar Horas Kota Pematangsiantar Tahun 2013

Analysis the waste management system and trader\u27s behaviour at Horas Market Pematangsiantar city in 2013.Waste is any materials unused and rejected as worthless or unwanted, useless or profitless activity, expanding and consuming thoughtlessly or carelessly. Subsequent increased of human activitis impact to the increasis of waste. Worse system of waste management will give negative health effects and reduce the quality of urban environment. Therefore it is needed a research to investigate waste management system at Horas Market in Pematangsiantar city. The main purpose of this research is to analoge the waste management system and trader\u27s behaviour at Horas Market in 2013. The research used descriptive survey method and the population was whole trader\u27s at Horas Market about 1.219 people with 95 people as sample size. This research used stratified random sampling method by grouping trader\u27s based on the trader\u27s group. The resulted of this research showed that most of respondents were female (53,7%), between age of 25-35 years old (36,8%), based on education background were 66,3% senior high school. The waste storage bins at Horas Market is not sufficient. The knowledge level of the respondents in Horas Market in managing waste mostly good category (60,0%). The respondents attitude was mostly manage the waste in good category about 85,3%. The respondents action in managing waste was medium category (76,8%) and good category about 16,8%. Therefore, the government is expected to give more attention and provide the facilities of waste storage bins based on the number of waste generation. Market official is expected to increase the waste transportation and the number of sanitation workers also give the information to the trader\u27s about a good waste management. All trader\u27s are expected to provide the storage bins and increase their knowledge, their attitude and their action about good waste management

PERTANGGUNG JAWABAN PIDANA SEORANG DOKTER DALAM TINDAKAN PEMBEDAHAN

Abstract The doctor’s profession is noble in the midst of people’s lives. A doctor in his work is directly related to the efforts of healing and suffering of patients. So that not a few people who are resigned to the doctor, even though the doctor because of the actions of medical services he did harm his side. On the other hand, as a result of increasing public legal awareness, including their rights and obligations in the eld of health services, it is not uncommon for a doctor at the green table to take responsibility for his actions.
