    Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan pada Credit Union (CU) Betang Asi Palangka Raya. Desain/Metodelogi/Pendekatan – Penelitian ini meggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik sampel adalah jenuh, dimana responden berjumlah 30 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan kemudian dianalisis dengan alat analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Software yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SPSS versi 24. Temuan Penelitian - Hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan baik secara parsial dan simultan

    Growth of Ramin (Gonystylus Bancanus (Miq) Kurz.) Plantation on Various Peat Swamp Forests in Indonesia

    Ramin (Gonystylus bancanus (Miq) Kurz.) is a trade name of timber produced from a group of Gonystylus species. It is a well-known species because of its high timber quality and value. Ramin natural population has been decreasing sharply since the last two decades due to over exploitation, and nowadays leads to extinction. The objective of this research was to analyze the growth of ramin plantation on various sites. Data were collected from February to April 2005 through field survey on five sites of peat-swamp forest areas in four provinces, Riau, Jambi, West and Central Kalimantan. The result showed that ramin annual early growth varied across sites. It grew better on deep peat soil (3 - 4 m in depth) and under moderate shading (55 - 60%) during early growth. The highest early height growth (52.27 cm/year) occurred at Sei Bakau, West Kalimantan. Whereas, it highest early diameter growth (0.73 cm/year) was found at Rokan Hilir, Riau. The characteristics of site are very important for a successful growth of ramin plantation, including peat depth and level of shading. Annual early growth of ramin as along in line with increasing of the plant age, namely a four- times increase of plant age (from 1.6 - 2 years to 6.5 - 7.3 years), the annual early height and diameter growth decreased until they reached a half and one third of the starting values. Since the growth of ramin is very slow, it is necessary to find and develop technologies to accelerate growth rate of the ramin plants. Application of mycorrhizal fungal inoculum is a promising technology, but their role in promoting ramin growth and the needed cost must be tested and analyzed under various conditions of the peat-swamp soils in Indonesia

    Gambaran Kadar Kolesterol Total Darah Pada Pekerja Kantor

    : Cholesterol is a major component of brain and nerve cells and also as the resources for a number of important compunds in the body. The intensity of a person\u27s activity affect the levels of cholesterol in the body. Physical inactivity is one of the risk factors for lipid accumulation in the body which can cause a strain in the heart and blood vessels. This study aimed to determine the total cholesterol levels in office workers. The design of this study was a descriptive analysis with a cross sectional study. Samples were 52 people taken with total sampling method. The result showed the respondents with normal cholesterol levels were the same number as respondents with high cholesterol levels (50,00%; 26 people). The mean cholesterol levels of 52 samples was 198 mg/dL, the median was 201 mg/dL, the modus was 214 mg/dL, the minimal dan maximal were 143 mg/dL and 273 mg/dL, and the strandard deviation was 29,22. Conclusion: The number of respondents with normal cholesterol levels and with high cholesterol levels are equal

    Efek Antioksidan pada Teh Hijau terhadap Kadar Kolesterol Darah

    Kadar kolesterol yang melebihi batas normal atau biasa disebut hiperkolesterolemia dapat menyebabkan pembentukan aterosklerosis bahkan penyakit jantung koroner. Untuk itu diperlukan penanganan, salah satunya dengan pemberian obat hipolipidemia. Salah satu bahan alami yang dapat berperan sebagai hipolipidemia yaitu teh hijau. Teh hijau mengandung senyawa antiosidan yaitu katekin terutama epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) yang berperan penting dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol dalam darah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek antioksidan pada teh hijau terhadap kadar kolesterol dalam darah. Penelitian ini berbentuk literature review dengan pencarian data menggunakan 3 database yaitu PubMed, ClinicalKey dan Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang digunakan yaitu Green Tea OR Teh Hijau, Cholesterol OR Kolesterol, dan Antioxidant OR Antioksidan. Setelah diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, didapatkan 12 literature yang di review. Dari 12 literature yang di review menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental dengan subjek penelitian manusia dan hewan yang diberi teh hijau (ekstrak, EGCG dan PPE) semuanya menunjukkan hasil adanya penurunan kadar kolesterol darah yang signifikan setelah diberikan teh hijau.
