    Developing Suplementry Speaking Material in Digital Media

    The purpose of this research was to develope and validate the suplementary speaking material in digital media for accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau. This research used Research and Development Method by applying Borg and Gall Model. There were ten steps, they are (1) research and information collecting (2) planning (3) developing preliminary form of product (4) preliminary field testing (5) main product revision (6) field testing (7) operational product revision (8) operational field testing (9) final product (10) dissemination and implementation.. The subjects were the Accounting students of eleventh grade in academic year 2020/2021. While, for step 6, 8 and 10 were applied by using Google Classroom application in English group of XI Accounting Program. The data showed that there were some problem faced by the students aespecially in finding a speaking book which concerning to accounting program. The teacher also need a book that can help English speaking skill not only for general English. After following the ten steps in R&D method, started from analyzing, evaluating, revising and trying out, it was concluded that the suplementary speaking material in digital media for accounting students can help them in learning English based on their need.     Teaching Reading by Using Inquiry Based Learning Approach to The First Semester of English Education Program

    The objective of this study was to find out whether or not it was significantly effective to use Inquiry Based Learning in teaching reading to first semester of English Education Program . In this study, the writer proposed two hypotheses. They were null hypothesis Ho and alternative hypothesis Ha. The method applied was pre experimental with one group pre test posttest design. The population of this study was all of first semester of English Education Program  which consisted of 45 students. The sample was taken through cluster random sampling. Which consisted of 20 students. The data were collected by means of test consisting 20 items of multiple choices. The data obtained were analyzed through three techniques 1 Individual Score,  and 2 Matched t test. The results of this study shows that  the students mean  score in the pre-test was 60.13 and those in the  post-test was 75.25. The result of matched t test was 5.25, which was higher than t table value 1.725 of 20 with 95 percent significant level for one tailed test. Therefore, the null hypothesis Ho was rejected and the alternative hypothesis Ha was accepted.     Improving Student's Writing Skills Through the Application of Content Structure Strategy

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of content structure strategy on improving student's writing skills and to determine whether or not the content structure strategy was effective in increasing student's writing skills. This study used a cluster random sampling method consisting of 28 students taken as the research sample from three classes. The results showed that there was a significant difference between student scores before and after treatment. Student writing recount text increases after use. In addition, the calculated t-test match result is higher than the matched t-test result table coefficient. In conclusion, there was a significant different between the student's achievement before and after the treatment. The student's mean score on the post-test was higher than the mean score on the pre-test. This shows that the content structure strategy is effectively used in learning recount text in Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau Junior High School.      Keywords: Ability, Content Structure, Strategy, Writin

    Developing of Listening Materials at the Tenth Grade Students

    This study aims to develop listening material for tenth graders. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The results of this study indicate that the development of listening material is valid, practical and effective in the teaching and learning process. The product developed was declared valid after being evaluated by three experts with an average score of 3.86 in the "high" category. This product is also practical by evaluating listening material for students with an average score of 4.10 with "high practicality" and effective with an evaluation with 83.33 students in the "high" category. In conclusion, the listening material developed for tenth-grade students of Islamic Senior High School 2 Lubuklinggau is valid, practical and effective categories.     The problem of this study was “is it significantly effective to use Intrapersonal Intelligence strategy in improving students’ ability to write descriptive paragraph to Eighth grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Sumberharta in academic year 2019/2020?”. The objective of this study was to find out whether or not it was significantly effective to use Intrapersonal Intelligence strategy in teaching writing descriptive paragraph to Eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Sumberharta in academic year 2019/2020. The population of this study was all of the eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Sumberharta in academic year 2019/2020 and total number of sample was 21 students from VIII.B. The sample in this study was taken through cluster random sampling. In this study, the writer used pre-experimental method. In collecting the data, the writer used written test. In analyzing the data, the writer used two techniques, individual students’ score and paired t-test. Based on the result of the data analysis, the writer found out that the students’ average score was 67.29 in the pre-test and it increased in the post-test which score was 77.80. The result of paired t-test was 5.20 while ttable was 1.725. It means that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Furthermore, it was significantly effective to use Intrapersonal Intelligence strategy in improving students’ ability to write descriptive paragraph to the Eight grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Sumberharta in academic year 2019/2020

    The  objectives  of  this  study  were  (1)  to  design  speaking materials using task based language teaching for SMK Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau and (2) to describe  the  strengths  and  the  weaknesses  of  the  speaking materials using Task Based Language teaching for SMK Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau. This research include to Educational Research and Development (R&D) using a simplified six steps of Borg and Gall’s model (1983).  The result present that  the product relies much  on pertaining the KD of 2013  curriculum  and  the  teacher  expected  that  the  students  need  to  increase speaking skill since they have opportunity to speak English. The speaking materials were in line with students wants. The strengths of this product helped  students  to  improve  their  speaking  skill  especially  the  vocabularies,  the language function and the grammar used in spoken language.     Developing Listening Materials Based on Bottom Up Strategy for Students of English Education

    The purpose of this research is to develop listening material based on bottom up strategy that can make students master listening skills. This research method is the Research and Development (R&D) method. This method consists of identification of material needs, exploration of needs, realization of contextual materials, realization of pedagogical materials, production of materials, use of student materials and evaluation of materials against agreed goals. The population in this study were all students of the first semester English Education study program at STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau Academic Year 2020/2021. The results of this study make it easier for students to work on questions on the material that has been developed and make them more quickly understand. In conclusion, developing listening material based on a bottom-up strategy, researchers received a positive response from first semester students because it could help them learn to listen for general communication. In addition, researchers also use the bottom up strategy to develop this listening material, so that it can help make it easier for students to learn to listen for general communication. So, in this study the researchers succeeded in helping students facilitate listening learning in this first semester with a positive response from all students.     PENDAMPINGGAN APARATUR DESA DALAM PENINGKATAN SDM BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA (BUMDES) BERBASIS WEB MOBILE PADA DESA PETUNANG

    Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Petunang didirikan pada tahun 2018 dan berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya hingga saat ini, pengolahan data yang dilakukan oleh aparatur BUMDes dalam meningkatkan potensi desa menjadi tolak ukur dalam perkembangan dan kemajuan desa petunang, kurangnya sistem informasi pengolahan manajemen BUMDes dalam birokrasi, administrasi desa mengakibatkan kondisi BUNDes Desa Petunang saat ini dalam kondisi buruk, hal ini disebabkan karena faktor SDM yang kurang mendapatkan pelatihan pengolahan BUMDes serta belum adanya sistem yang dapat mengelolah sistem informasi pengolahan data BUMDes pada desa petunang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan pendekatan yang sistematis, mulai dari tahap kebutuhan sistem lalu menuju ke tahap analisis, desain, coding, testing/verification, dan maintenance.     An Errors Analysis in Using Tenses of Students Writing Text at Senior High School

    The objective of this investigation was to investigate students errors in writing recount text made by the eleventh grade students of social program Senior High School Number 1 and Senior High School Number 2 Muara Beliti in academic year 2016/2017. The method applied in this investigation was descriptive method. The subject of the investigation was all the eleventh grade students of social program Senior High School Number 1 and Senior High School Number 2 Muara Beliti. The number of the sample was 30 that consist of five students each class and each school. To get the data, the writer used essay test. The test given was an intruction to compose a paragraph in 150 words. Based on the finding of data analysis from the test. The majority errors done by the Eleventh Grade of Social Program Students of Senior High School Number 1Muara Beliti was Verb (55.36 percent) total errors was 62. Punctuation and spelling (4.46 percent) total errors was 5. Preposition (5,35 percent) total errors 6. Pronoun (34.83 percent) total errors was39.The majority errors donethe Eleventh of social program  Grade Students of Senior High School Number 2 Muara Beliti wasVerb (61.67 percent) total errors was 37. Punctuation and spelling (1.66 percent) total errors was 1. Preposition (1.66 percent) total errors was1. Pronoun (35.01 percent) total errors was21. In conclusion, The students did such errors because the students translated directly from Indonesian language into English.
