    Bandung Regency often experiences flooding and the number of Early Warning System (EWS) equipment is still not sufficient. One of the targets of the Sendai Framework is to increase the coverage and access to the EWS until 2030. To prevent natural disasters and determine the efforts that must be made during a disaster to post-disaster, a disaster information system is needed. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of a flood disaster information system as an effort to reduce disaster risk and to determine the use of a flood disaster information system to create a disaster-resilient society. This research was a qualitative research with an exploratory research design. The research was conducted in May 2021 – January 2022 in Bandung Regency. Data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation, and observation, with analytical techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. There was no specific flood disaster information system however the information collected and processed by the Pusdalops was used as the basis for the preparation of a disaster risk reduction plan in Bandung Regency. Information on the potential for flooding was conveyed by the Pusdalops to the community so that people were alert and evacuate if it is not possible to stay at home. Community resilience, especially in three flood-prone villages, was in the primary category. A disaster information system is needed to support disaster risk reduction efforts and create a disaster-resilient society.

    Bencana merupakan peristiwa alam yang mengancam dan mengganggu kehidupan manusia. Gempa Bumi yang terjadi pada bulan November 2022 menyebabkan kerusakan yang sangat parah. Anak-anak dan remaja rentan terhadap dampak psikologis yang timbul akibat bencana. Penting untuk melakukan penanganan terhadap trauma yang dialami anak-anak karena mereka belum memiliki kemampuan untuk merawat diri sendiri. Sebelum mendapatkan intervensi, perilaku anak-anak korban erupsi gunung Semeru cenderung pasif dan gelisah. Art therapy terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan harga diri mereka. Art therapy yang diberikan kepada anak-anak korban erupsi gunung Semeru meliputi kegiatan menggambar, berkelompok bercerita, membuat prakarya, menulis dan membaca puisi, serta bernyanyi. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses trauma healing menggunakan art therapy adalah pendampingan dan pelatihan. Melalui kegiatan art therapy ini, anak-anak mampu mengungkapkan perasaan yang mereka alami selama bencana dan menyampaikan harapan-harapan mereka untuk masa depan

    [Estimation of The Threat of Earthquake and Tsunami in Pidie Jaya Regency to Support National Security]. Bencana merupakan suatu ancaman non-militer dan nyata yang dihadapi dunia saat ini. Bencana mengancam keselamatan masyarakat yang pada akhirnya mengancam keamanan nasional suatu negara, termasuk Indonesia. Ancaman nyata yang saat ini dirasakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia adalah peningkatan kejadian bencana yang dirasakan hampir diseluruh wilayah Indonesia. Kabupaten Pidie Jaya yang merupakan bagian dari Provinsi Aceh juga memiliki ancaman multi bencana seperti gempabumi dan tsunami. Gempabumi yang terjadi di Pidie Jaya disebabkan oleh aktivitas Sesar Pidie dengan arah bidang patahan mendatar atau strike-slipe. Selain itu, terdapat Zona Megathrust Sumatera dan Sesar Besar Sumatera yang berada di Provinsi Aceh dengan aktivitas kegempaan yang dapat berpotensi tsunami. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan suatu simulasi tsunami dengan output wilayah-wilayah yang berpotensi tsunami berserta run up atau ketinggian air tsunami akibat gempa di Zona Megathrust Aceh-Andaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif (deskriptif analisis) sebagai desain penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan pada 18 Maret 2021 di ruang operasional InaTEWS (Indonesia Tsunami Warning System) Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) menggunakan bantuan software TOAST (Tsunami Observation and Simulation Terminal).  Dari seluruh rangkaian pengolahan dan analisis data didapatkan hasil bahwa Zona Megathrust Aceh-Andaman berpotensi tsunami dengan run up (ketinggian air tsunami) yang paling tertinggi sebesar 10,5 meter di Meulaboh, Kab. Aceh Barat, 5,5 meter di Kota Sabang, dan 3 meter di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya dengan waktu tiba tsunami (golden time) sekitar 24 menit 55 detik. Kajian atas estimasi gempabumi dan tsunami ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi dalam penentuan kebijakan BPBD Pidie Jaya dalam upaya mitigasi bencana untuk melindungi masyarakat Pidie Jaya dan mewujudkan keamanan nasional

Religions and various schools thrive therefore the understanding of religious pluralism in pluralism is needed, one of which is often a problem in Indonesia is the establishment of houses of worship. The problem of establishing a house of worship or the transfer of the function of the use of buildings instead of houses of worship in an area can lead to horizontal conflict. GKI Yasmin conflict in Bogor City is one of the problems of the establishment of houses of worship in Indonesia. Polemic of the existence of GKI Yasmin began the rejection by 30 residents of Curug Mekar Village of Bogor City on January 10, 2006 they filed a letter to the Mayor of Bogor to revoke the IMB GKI Yasmin. The Yasmin GKI conflict lasted for 15 years from 2006 to 2021. The path of peace has been taken and both sides have agreed to the relocation of GKI Yasmin, conflict resolution by the Bogor city government received appreciation from the central government. This event is a message of peace from Bogor to the world that peace can never be achieved by judging each other

    The Covid-19 pandemic has been declared a non-natural national disaster. The Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government has made efforts to deal with Covid-19, namely by carrying out refocusing activities. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence the infrastructure planning and budgeting policies of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach in the Provincial Government of Southeast Sulawesi. The results of this study found that the factors that influenced the implementation of planning and budgeting policies during the Covid-19 pandemic in Southeast Sulawesi Province are the poor communication within the organization of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government, human resources in implementing policies, and the limited budget. From this study it was concluded that good communication had not been established within the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government organization, there were limitations in terms of implementers in the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government and resources in planning and budgeting during the Covid-19 pandemic, a limited budget, so they have to make choices about priority programs and activities and have not yet created a special planning and budgeting team during the Covid-19 pandemic

    Dynamics of Border Conflict Resolution Between Indonesia-Timor Leste

    Border areas are areas that are geographically directly adjacent to other countries. The border area is also one of the strategic areas, where the area that nationally concerns the lives of many people, both in terms of political, economic, social, cultural, and hankam interests. Border conflicts are usually particularly vulnerable if the contested territory has excellent natural and economic resource potential. The purpose of this study is to describe the factors that cause conflict and the urgency of boundary affirmation and describe efforts to resolve boundaries through regulation and non-regulation. The method used is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive approach through literature study. Based on the results of the study, it is understood that the settlement of Indonesia's border with Timor-Leste will be carried out peacefully, without the threat of violence, and with full respect for international law. This article seeks to understand the Indonesia-Timor Leste border dispute from the perspective of international relations. Three strategies can be taken by Indonesia to resolve this dispute, namely military confrontation, the use of formal institutions such as international organizations, and the use of informal institutions namely norms, beliefs, ideas, and values. This article argues that to resolve the dispute between Noel Besi/Citrana and Bijael Sunan/Oben it is not enough to rely on international treaties alone, Indonesia needs to put more emphasis on the importance of understanding the norms, beliefs, ideas, and values of indigenous peoples living in the disputed area. The role of the government in efforts to maintain the integrity of the country's territory through bilateral communication and cooperation can then be utilized by local actors to resolve conflicts and participate in defending the territory

    This paper discusses the attacks carried out by the British Colonial Government in Java with the Sultanate of Yogyakarta Hadiningrat which occurred from July 18 to July 20, 1812 AD. This study uses historical research methods that emphasize heuristic processes, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study explain that the background of the conflict originated from the unwillingness of Sultan Hamengkubuwono II to submit to the demands of Lieutenant Governor Raffles fully to the rules and political power of the British Empire in colonies. The strategy of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta was to consolidate regular troops and other troops to defend the Keraton and build military facilities by building weapons factories independently. The British took advantage of their indigenous allies, although they were few in number, with experience and qualified military capacity, they succeeded in controlling Yogyakarta

Proxy War dianggap lebih murah dan tidak terlalu memakan banyak korban bagi negara penyelenggara. Oleh karena itu, Proxy War dianggap lebih efektif dibandingkan strategi pada zaman dahulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti mengambil data dari studi pustaka dan mengamati perkembangan saat ini melalui media. Pemerintah Indonesia telah menetapkan tujuan pertama Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang Nasional Tahun 2005 – 2025 adalah pembentukan karakter bangsa. Pendidikan karakter di Indonesia merupakan gerakan nasional untuk menciptakan sekolah dalam membina generasimuda yang beretika, bertanggung jawab, karena pendidikan karakter lebih menekankan pada aspek nilai yang universal. Lembaga pendidikan dihadapkan dengan masalah besar untuk menanamkan nilai nilai bela Negara, dimana kondisi pergeseran ancaman maupun tantangan bagi Indonesia saat ini begitu nyata. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan, sekolah dasar harus dapat mempersiapkan generasi penerus yang memiliki karakter khususnya di era pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah Pendidikan karakter bela negara memerlukan strategi yang lebih inovatif dan efektif dalam pembelajarannya sehingga mampu meminimalkan dampak pandemi covid-19 khususnya pada perubahan perilaku peserta didik. Penilaian pendidikan karakter bela negara tetap dapat berjalan dengan baik melalui pembelajaran yang terbimbing dan terarah sehingga setiap siswa efektif belajar dan memanfaatkan waktu dengan baik. The existence of an active period and an inactive period of Komcad on the other hand is also a question of whether Komcad can maintain its leadership competence during an in the off period. This study aims to improve the leadership competence of backup components through Reserve Component Integrated Training and Monitoring System (SPMT Komcad) in the off period. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this research is using literature study, the authors develop a system with the waterfall model, namely sequentially starting from the analysis, design, coding, testing and support stages. Improving the leadership competence of backup components through through Reserve Component Integrated Training and Monitoring System (SPMT Komcad) in the off period can be a solution to increasing the leadership competence of Reserve Components during in off periods.     Government Synergy in Handling Border Conflict between West Lombok Regency and Central Lombok Regency

    The territorial boundary conflict between West Lombok and Central Lombok districts in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province has been going on for several years, with various attempts being made to find an appropriate solution. This study aims to analyze the synergies carried out by the Provincial Government of NTB in handling boundary conflicts. The research method used is a case study with in-depth interviews with informants involved in handling boundary conflicts. The results of the study show that government synergy in resolving boundary conflicts involves the West Lombok Regency Government, Central Lombok Regency Government, community leaders, and other relevant agencies. The synergies carried out include facilitating meetings, strengthening the authority of the Border Dispute Resolution Team so that it has a large and strong capacity, approaching the community, coordinating the central government with local governments regarding border conflicts between Central Lombok and West Lombok Regencies by providing coordination space. The governor acts as the representative of the central government in the province, so that the central government is under the command of the provincial government. The results of this research are the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 P/Hum/2023 dated 9 February 2023, in the case submitted by the Regent of Central Lombok as the applicant party and the Minister of Home Affairs as the respondent. It has been decided that Nambung will become part of Central Lombok Regency
