    Get PDF
Employing state-of-the-art high resolution photoemission spectroscopy, we studied the electronic structure evolution of Cr with temperature. Experimental results reveal signature of a pseudogap much below the spin density wave transition temperature. A sharp peak appears near the Fermi level at low temperatures presumably related to the orbital Kondo effect. These results provide possible origin of the complex electronic properties observed in this system

Cloud storage is the best and proficient approach to handle our information remotely. In any case, since information proprietors and clients are more often than not outside the trusted area of cloud specialist co-ops the information security and get to control is the critical component at the season of delicate information put away in the cloud. Additionally, now days there are distinctive systems are accessible for information sharing and saving security of information proprietor and client. Key Escrow is the one of the significant issue now a day. We can’t keep full trust over the key power focus since they might be abuse their benefits. This is unsatisfactory for data sharing circumstances. In this paper we concentrated the current procedure for sharing the information from information proprietor to information client. The methodology propose an enhanced two-party key issuing convention that can ensure that neither key power nor cloud specialist co-op can bargain the entire mystery key of a client exclusively. The method also present the idea of quality with weight, being given to upgrade the statement of characteristic, which cannot just extend the expression from paired to discretionary state, additionally help the intricacy of get to approach. In this manner, both capacity cost and encryption many-sided quality for a cipher text are eased. Attribute based encryption is an open key based encryption that empowers get to control over encoded information utilizing access strategies and credited qualities. In this paper we propose proof verification module which verify proof of shared file and is received by data consumer when file shared by data owner and also a method which applies re-encryption (ABE) of a shared file here the attributes of data consumers are used to generate key

Importance of conduction electron correlation in a Kondo lattice, Ce2CoSi3

Kondo systems are usually described by the interaction of strong correlation induced local moment with the highly itinerant conduction electrons. Here, we study the role of electron correlations among conduction electrons in the electronic structure of a Kondo lattice compound, Ce2_2CoSi3_3, using high resolution photoemission spectroscopy and {\it ab initio} band structure calculations, where Co 3dd electrons contribute in the conduction band. High energy resolution employed in the measurements helped to reveal signature of Ce 4ff states derived Kondo resonance feature at the Fermi level and dominance of Co 3dd contributions at higher binding energies in the conduction band. The line shape of the experimental Co 3dd band is found to be significantly different from that obtained from the band structure calculations within the local density approximations, LDA. Consideration of electron-electron Coulomb repulsion, UU among Co 3dd electrons within the LDA+UU method leads to a better representation of experimental results. Signature of electron correlation induced satellite feature is also observed in the Co 2pp core level spectrum. These results clearly demonstrate the importance of the electron correlation among conduction electrons in deriving the microscopic description of such Kondo systems.Comment: 6 figure

Performance up gradation of static VAR compensator with thyristor binary switched capacitor and reactor using model reference adaptive controller

    Get PDF
There are various static var compensator configurations are available and listed in the literature. Their performances are evaluated based on their voltage support, dynamic response, losses, cost, and additional filter requirement, if any. In this paper, efforts are made to improve the dynamic performance parameter such as rise time, settling time, and peak overshoots. A new topology with an adaptive controller is presented, in which capacitor and reactor banks are divided in their binary values and connected in the shunt. Capacitor and reactor banks are operated by thyristorised switches. Both these banks are operated in closed-loop form as a cascade control. Amongst these, capacitor bank operates as coarse control, and reactor bank acts as fine control. For the performance enhancement, a model reference adaptive controller is used. The system identification toolbox is used to evaluate the mathematical model of the plant with Matlab. The model\u27s performance was analyzed deeply by the adaptive controller with different reference models such as critical, under, and overdamped. The performance parameters such as rise time, settling time, and peak overshoot in the form of reactive power swings, are evaluated and plotted for different adaptive gains using MIT rules

Revelation of the role of impurities and conduction electron density in the high resolution photoemission study of ferromagnetic hexaborides

We investigate the temperature evolution of the electronic structure of ferromagnetic CaB6 using ultrahigh resolution photoemission spectroscopy; the electronic structure of paramagnetic LaB6 is used as a reference. High resolution spectra of CaB6 reveal a finite density of states at the Fermi level εF at all the temperatures and evidence of impurity induced localized features in the vicinity of εF, which are absent in the spectra of LaB6. Analysis of the high resolution spectra suggests that disorder in the B sublattice inducing partial localization in the mobile electrons and low electron density at εF is important to achieve ferromagnetism in these systems

Evolution of the Kondo resonance feature and its relationship to spin-orbit coupling across the quantum critical point in Ce2Rh{1-x}CoxSi3

    Get PDF
We investigate the evolution of the electronic structure of Ce2Rh{1-x}CoxSi3 as a function of x employing high resolution photoemission spectroscopy. Co substitution at the Rh sites in antiferromagnetic Ce2RhSi3 leads to a transition from an antiferromagnetic system to a Kondo system, Ce2CoSi3 via the Quantum Critical Point (QCP). High resolution photoemission spectra reveal distinct signature of the Kondo resonance feature (KRF) and its spin orbit split component (SOC) in the whole composition range indicating finite Kondo temperature scale at the quantum critical point. We observe that the intensity ratio of the Kondo resonance feature and its spin orbit split component, KRF/SOC gradually increases with the decrease in temperature in the strong hybridization limit. The scenario gets reversed if the Kondo temperature becomes lower than the magnetic ordering temperature. While finite Kondo temperature within the magnetically ordered phase indicates applicability of the spin density wave picture at the approach to QCP, the dominant temperature dependence of the spin-orbit coupled feature suggests importance of spin-orbit interactions in this regime.Comment: 6 figure

Assessment of initiation of post-exposure prophylaxis with anti-rabies vaccine in cases of dog bites: an observational study

    Get PDF
Background: The management of rabies is challenging because of the long incubation period, lack of specificity of early prodromal symptoms and 100% fatality rate. Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) with anti-rabies vaccine (ARV) at the earliest has proven life-saving. Studies conducted in many parts of the country have shown that the time interval between exposure and initiation of PEP is wide. The objective was to study the profile of dog bites cases and assess initiation of PEP with ARV.Methods: Prospective observational study where prescription sheets of all new cases of dog bite injury were evaluated for a period of 3-month.Results: The victims of dog bite were predominantly males (72.41% males vs. 27.59% females, n=551). 45% cases belonged to the age group of 15-44 years. The majority of the cases (88.03%) were of wound Category II. The most common site of a dog bite was lower limb (80.94%). The percentage of cases who had received ARV within 24 hrs was 41.92, between 1 and 3 days was 31.03, between 4 and 10 days was 21.60, whereas 5.45% cases received vaccine after 10 days of exposure. Conclusion: Substantial proportion of victims of dog bite did not report and receive PEP within 24 hrs of exposure

Solenoid operated gear shifting mechanism is mainly designed for the handicapped persons who unable to shift the gears by their foot. The technique used in this gear shifting mechanism consists of solenoid. Solenoid completes one up and down motion called as one stroke. This stroke time depend on supplied voltage and current. According to stroke length and voltage calculation, solenoids are mounted on both sides of gear shifting pedal at ends. By pressing that switch, person easily shifts the gear with the help of foot which is most efficient to handicapped persons
