    ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE USE OF CASHLESS MOBILE PAYMENT IN MILLENIAL GENERATIONS OF BATAM CITY

    The purpose of this study is to determine the factors or influences that lead to the use of cashless mobile payments on the Batam millennial generation. The number of electronic-based payment media provided is expected to be able to create payment transactions that are practical, efficient, safe and encourage the creation of a Less Cash Society (LCS). When compared to Indonesia with other ASEAN countries, the level of use of electronic-based payments in the community is still low. Generation Y or the Millennial generation (15 to 39 years) in 2017 showed a figure of 40.29% or as many as 105,520,300 individuals from 261,890,900 Indonesians considered to have the potential to increase the use of electronic-based payments and encourage public awareness of LCS. The intention to use cashless mobile payments is the dependent variable. Attitudes, behavioral beliefs, financial costs, security and social influence act as independent variables for this study. Determination of the research object was carried out by purposive sampling method, namely the millennial generation (15 to 39 years) in Batam. Research data collection is based on the questionnaire method, namely electronic and online questionnaires with 230 collected data. The research data were analyzed through multiple regression analysis using SSPSS. The results obtained indicate that the variables of attitude, security and social influence have a significant positive effect on the intention to use cashless mobile payment, while the variables of behavioral beliefs and financial costs do not have a significant effect on the intention to use cashless mobile payments

    Two years aftar the global recession due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, fears of a global recession have emerged due to the return of inflation triggered by the increase in interest rate by central banks in several countries, including Indonesia. This research is conducted to examine macroeconomic indicators’ effect, namely gross domestic product, inflation, exchange rate, interest rate and unemployment rate on firm performance. This study used 28 companies listed in the LQ45 sector during 2017-2021 consecutively. Panel regression method is chosen as the method of this research as panel data is analyzed. The results of the study show that the variables such as gorss domestic product, inflation, interest rate, unemployment rate have a significant effect, while the exchange rate variable does not have a significant effect on firm performance Keywords: Gross domestic product, Inflation, Exchange rate, Interest rate, Unemployment rat

    Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mendapati pengaruh brand image, trust, security, perceived usefulness, dan perceived ease of use terhadap adoption intention fintech. Penelitian dijalankan dengan metode survei penyebaran kuesioner kepada 150 responden yang merupakan pengguna layanan fintech di mall Kota Batam dan diuji dengan SPSS versi 25. Penelitian didapati hasil yang menunjukkan brand image dan trust tidak berpengaruh terhadap adoption intention fintech, sedangkan security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use berpengaruh positif terhadap intention fintech

    Analysis of Factors Affecting Financial Well Being Millennial Generation in Batam

    The purpose of this study is to determine whether financial behavior, financial socialization agents, financial attitude,  financial stress, and financial literacy can influence financial well being in millennial generation in Batam City. Financial well being is described when a person is able to prosper in the field of financial finance. Welfare is reflected in the ability to meet and manage all needs and desires. While millennial is the most current generation so that it can be a hope and reflection of a country. This research method begins with the distribution of questionnaires to the people of Batam city aged 15-19 years. Data were collected as many as 300 respondents then processed with multiple regression research models using SPSS. Variable financial literacy, financial attitude and financial socialization agents provide a significant positive relationship to financial well being. Meanwhile financial stress has a significant negative relationship with financial well being. Then for financial behavior variables show no significant relationship to financial well being

    Export is an activity that can help boost a country's economy. Indonesia is the 4th largest country in the world as a coffee exporter. The purpose of this study was to determine the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports in international trade in the global market using the RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantages) analysis method. This research was conducted on five main countries that imported coffee from Indonesia, namely the United States, Egypt, Germany, Japan and Malaysia. After analysis, it can be concluded that the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports in the global market is relatively stable and good considering that the average RCA calculation results are above number 1 (> 1), which means that Indonesian coffee exports are able to compete and have strong competitiveness against other exporters.     Abstrak Penelitian ini menggunakan objek dalam penelitian yaitu mahasiswa di Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meneliti faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku menabung mahasiswa yang berada di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar keinginan mahasiswa menabung karena dengan penelitian ini dapat mengerti bahwa menabung sangat penting. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku untuk menabung pada penelitian ini yaitu Financial Literacy, Parental Socialization, Peer Influence, Self Control dan Attitude Towards Saving. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilkaukan dengan questionaires sebanyak 225 responden yang dijadikan sebagai data menggunakan metode Hair et al yaitu jumlah pernyataan dikalikan 5. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel-variabel yang digunakan penulis memiliki hubungan yang positif signifikan antara lain: Financial Literacy dengan Saving Behavior, Parental Socialization dengan Saving Behavior, Peer Influence terhadap Saving Behavior, Attitude Towards Saving terhadap Saving Behavior dan hubungan signifikan negative adalah Self Control dengan Saving Behavior.Kata Kunci: Financial Literacy, Parental Socialization, Peer Influence, Self Control, Attitude Towards Saving, Saving BehaviorAbstractThis study used student at Batam as the main object.     Royal Catering merupakan sebuah usaha jasa boga dibidang makanan ataupun kuliner yang berlokasi di Komplek Jodoh Permai blok C no 10, Sungai Jodoh, Batu Ampar, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau. Usaha ini sudah berjalan kurang lebih selama 8 (delapan) tahun akan tetapi Royal Catering menjalankan usahanya secara konvensional atau tidak terlalu mengikuti perkembangan di era digitalisasi yang telah memberikan banyak perubahan terutama pada kegiatan promosi. Sehingga memerlukan rancangan pemasaran digital yang efektif yaitu melalui media sosial seperti Google My Business, Instagram, Facebook dan membuat E-Catalogue, E-Brochure, serta Video. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, pengamatan, dan wawancara kepada pemilik usaha.     Abstrak Kegiatan inovasi produk sudah menjadi fokus utama beberapa perusahaan besar dalam berkembang, banyak perusahaan yang kini menjadi sangat besar dikarenakan oleh kegiatan inovasi pada produk yang dipasarkannya dilakukan dengan perancangan yang tepat. Hal ini menimbulkan minat penulis untuk melakukan penelitian terhadap faktor apa saja yang mungkin muncul dan mempengaruhi kegiatan inovasi produk itu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan pengaruh yang dihasilkan oleh Market, Customer, Competitor dan Technology dengan Company Effectiveness Terhadap kegiatan inovasi pada produk-produk yang dikembangkan oleh suatu perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode wawancara tertulis dengan menyebarkan pertanyaan melalui kuesioner sebagai acuan data kuantitatif dan menghasilkan pengumpulan data berupa informasi dari masing-masing variabel yang mempengaruhi kegiatan inovasi produk tersebut. Setelah itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa orientasi Market, Customer, Competitor dan Technology mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Kegiatan inovasi produk yang dilakukan perusahan didukung dengan keefektifan perusahaan itu sendiri. Abstract Product innovation activities have become the main focus of several large companies in developing, many companies have now become very large due to innovation activities in the products they market which are carried out with the right design. This raises the interest of the author to conduct research on what factors may arise and affect the product's innovation activities. This research was conducted to find out the effect produced by Market, Customer, Competitor and Technology with Company Effectiveness on innovation activities on products developed by a company. In this study, the authors used a written interview method by distributing questions through questionnaires as a reference for quantitative data and resulted in data collection in the form of information from each variable that influenced the product innovation activities. After that, it can be concluded that the orientation of Market, Customer, Competitor and Technology has an influence on the product innovation activities carried out by the company supported by the effectiveness of the company itself.     Abstrak Perusahaan menjadi salah satu peranan penting dalam meningkatkan dan mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu perusahan. Emiten terbesar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) yaitu perusahaan manufaktur. Kinerja perusahaan menjadi aspek yang mendukung pertumbuhan perusahaan sehingga keberagaman gender menjadi salah satu tolak ukur dalam aspek ini. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh keberagaman gender terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan manufaktur barang konsumsi publik di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan permasalahan asosiatif atau hubungan kuasal yaitu mencari bukti sebab-akibat variabel mana yang dipengaruhi dan mempengaruhi. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu data time series dan cross section, dimana data ini menggunakan analisis regresi panel. Proses pengumpulan data yang menggunakan data sekunder dan menggunakan sampel berjumlah 41 Perusahaan. Program perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam mendukung pengujian ini yaitu program stata. Dari hasil penelitian ini, keberagaman dewan direksi wanita memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja keuangan yang dimana menunjukkan wanita di suatu perusahaan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi perusahaan. The largest issuers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are manufacturing companies. Company performance is an aspect that supports the company's growth so that gender diversity is one of the benchmarks in this aspect. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of gender diversity on the financial performance of public consumer goods manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This type of research is carried out using associative problems or causal relationships, namely looking for evidence of cause and effect which variables are affected and affect. The method used is time series data and cross section, where this data uses panel regression analysis. The data collection process that uses secondary data and uses a sample of 41 companies. The software program used to support this test is the Stata program. From the results of this study, the diversity of the female board of directors has a significant positive effect on financial performance which shows that women in a company can increase the company's economic growth.
