An Empirical Study of User Acceptance on Medical and Health Website Based on UTAUT

    Get PDF
With the rapid development of Internet, more and more people got medical information through Medical and Health Website. However, Medical and Health Website is still in infancy, its social influence is not significant, and this new Internet technology has not been widely accepted in our country. Most scholars mainly concentrate on technology and management institution when researching the Medical and Health Website. In order to study user’s behavioral intention and use behavior on Medical and Health website, a theoretical model is built based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with the consumer perceived risk theory and perceived cost. The questionnaire is designed according to the theory model. Then, the data is analyzed by descriptive statistics, reliability and validity and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that people’s use behavior is positive influenced by behavioral intention and effort expectancy. On the contrary, perceived cost has negative influence on use behavior. Perceived risk has negative influence on behavioral intention. Gender and experience have moderating effects on behavioral intention. However, it is not verified that social influence has positive influence on behavioral intention. At last, this paper provides some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of Medical and Health website

The valley filter efficiency of monolayer graphene and bilayer graphene line defect model

In addition to electron charge and spin, novel materials host another degree of freedom, the valley. For a junction composed of valley filter sandwiched by two normal terminals, we focus on the valley efficiency under disorder with two valley filter models based on monolayer and bilayer graphene. Applying the transfer matrix method, valley resolved transmission coefficients are obtained. We find that: i) under weak disorder, when the line defect length is over about 15nm15\rm nm, it functions as a perfect channel (quantized conductance) and valley filter (totally polarized); ii) in the diffusive regime, combination effects of backscattering and bulk states assisted intervalley transmission enhance the conductance and suppress the valley polarization; iii) for very long line defect, though the conductance is small, polarization is indifferent to length. Under perpendicular magnetics field, the characters of charge and valley transport are only slightly affected. Finally we discuss the efficiency of transport valley polarized current in a hybrid system.Comment: 6 figure

Objective: To construct prokaryotic expression vector of Amuc_1100 gene, the ELP (ELSTIN-LIKE PROTEIN) is used as purification label to express fusion with the target protein and detect the biological activity of recombinant protein at cell level and animal level. Methods: the recombinant plasmid pET28a-Amuc_1100-ELP is designed and synthesized, and transformed into e. coli competent cell bl21 (de3) to induce expression. The recombinant egg was isolated and purified by the reversible phase change cycling (ITC) characteristic of ELP10 white. At the cellular level, PBMCs cells from mice were extracted to detect the expression level of IL-10. At the animal level, obese mice induced by gastric gavage with high fat detected the improvement effect of the protein on mouse metabolism. Results: The recombinant protein with the expected molecular weight of 60 kDa was expressed by E.coli expression system. After circulating through ITC, the recombinant protein with high purity was obtained. The protein increased the expression level of IL-10 in PBMCs cells, and significantly improved the obesity and metabolic disorders induced by high-fat diet in mice. Conclusion: The recombinant protein expression plasmid pET28a-Amuc_1100-ELP was successfully constructed. After expression and purification, the recombinant protein expression plasmid has high purity and has 15 biologically active recombinant protein. This study laid a foundation for the industrial production and clinical application of Amuc_1100

Joint Control of Manufacturing and Onsite Microgrid System Via Novel Neural-Network Integrated Reinforcement Learning Algorithms

Microgrid is a promising technology of distributed energy supply system, which consists of storage devices, generation capacities including renewable sources, and controllable loads. It has been widely investigated and applied for residential and commercial end-use customers as well as critical facilities. In this paper, we propose a joint state-based dynamic control model on microgrids and manufacturing systems where optimal controls for both sides are implemented to coordinate the energy demand and supply so that the overall production cost can be minimized considering the constraint of production target. Markov Decision Process (MDP) is used to formulate the decision-making procedure. The main computing challenge to solve the formulated MDP lies in the co-existence of both discrete and continuous parts of the high-dimensional state/action space that are intertwined with constraints. A novel reinforcement learning algorithm that leverages both Temporal Difference (TD) and Deterministic Policy Gradient (DPG) algorithms is proposed to address the computation challenge. Experiments for a manufacturing system with an onsite microgrid system with renewable sources have been implemented to justify the effectiveness of the proposed method

Hurricanes Substantially Reduce the Nutrients in Tropical Forested Watersheds in Puerto Rico

Because nutrients including nitrogen and phosphorus are generally limited in tropical forest ecosystems in Puerto Rico, a quantitative understanding of the nutrient budget at a watershed scale is required to assess vegetation growth and predict forest carbon dynamics. Hurricanes are the most frequent disturbance in Puerto Rico and play an important role in regulating lateral nitrogen and phosphorus exports from the forested watershed. In this study, we selected seven watersheds in Puerto Rico to examine the immediate and lagged effects of hurricanes on nitrogen and phosphorous exports. Our results suggest that immediate surges of heavy precipitation associated with hurricanes accelerate nitrogen and phosphorus exports as much as 297 ± 113 and 306 ± 70 times than the long-term average, respectively. In addition, we estimated that it requires approximately one year for post-hurricane riverine nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations to recover to pre-hurricane levels. During the recovery period, the riverine nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations are 30 ± 6% and 28 ± 5% higher than the pre-hurricane concentrations on average

The method for separating and purifying chlorogenic acid (CA), epicatechin (EC), hyperoside (HY) and phlorizin (PH) simutaneously from young Qinguan apples by successive use of X-5 and polyamide resins has been developed in this study. The order of adsorption capacities of X-5 for the four phenolics was PH\ua0>\ua0HY\ua0>\ua0EC\ua0>\ua0CA, and the adsorption equilibriums of the four phenolics onto X-5 resin conformed to Langmuir isotherms preferentially. The adsorption kinetics of EC and CA onto X-5 conformed to the pseudo-first-order model, while that of HY and PH accorded with the pseudo-second-order model. Interestingly, the values of equilibrium adsorption capacities (Q) calculated in the preferential kinetics models were closer to that of theoretical maximum adsorption capacities (Q) calculated by Langmuir isotherms. Through dynamic adsorption and desorption using X-5 and polyamide resins with ethanol solution as strippant, CA, EC, HY and PH were obtained with purities of 96.21%, 95.34%, 95.36% and 97.36%, respectively
