    This study aims to build a sound intensity measuring instrument (noise), which is equipped with the tools perakaman recording data so that data can be processed if necessary. This research was completed with the descriptive approach, which describes the process of making the sound intensity measuring instrument (noise)-based computer.     Development of Green Resin Using Solid Waste Protein Soybean Curd Tofu Production

    One of the most concerns associated with many commercially available composites is that they used of non-degradable resins and fibers that primarily made using non-degradable, petroleum-based chemicals as feed stock. These conditions will create a serious problem in term of waste disposal after end of their life. Unlike petroleum, plant based protein and starches are yearly renewable. These resins are increasingly developed for various applications as replacements for non-degradable petroleum based resins. In addition, these resins may be easily composted after their life. In this study, Soybean Pulp Hemi-cellulose (SPH) was modified by cross-linking it with glutaraldehyde (GA). The modified SPH resins were characterized for its surface morphology, tensile and mass losses or biodegradability properties. The effect of GA on the surface morphology, tensile and biodegradability of the SPH resins were discussed. The SPH resins showed improved surface morphology and ductility. However, the increasing the GA content reduces the Young\u27s modulus of the SPH resins. The SPH resins exhibited fracture stress point and Young\u27s modulus maximum of and 3.02 MN/m2, respectively, and biodegradability of 40.42% after 30 days placed on the open air. These properties seem to be sufficient for developing green composites from the SPH resins reinforced with natural fiber for indoor structural applications

    Quasi-experimental research has been conducted to determine the effectiveness of the model of WEB-based Assessment for Learning (AFL). Research with posttest only control group design involves 113 freshmen at the UM Department of Physics as the study sample. All groups get the same syllabus and teaching materials. Controlled group got traditionally assessment, home work on problem solving. Experimental group could access umeac.com, the website that prepared to hold the WEB-based AFL. AFL activity for this group are as follows. 1. Working preflight before the first face-to-face in a week. 2 Working selftest and discussion forums after the first meeting in every week. 3 Work on self-assessment and formative tests after the second meeting in every week. Permasalahan yang timbul terutama terjadi pada kecacatan yang ditimbulkan pada produksi pembuatan genteng berupa adanya genteng yang gupil, genteng yang retak, dan sebagainya disebabkan karena adanya kecacatan dan terjadi pada genteng Kia berdampak akan penurunan kualitas dari produksi genteng. Berdasarkan data yang didapat dari surve lapangan diperusahaan genteng terdapat banyaknya kecacatan yang timbul dari genteng tersebut disebabkan oleh kurang profesional dan kurang ketelitian dari pegawai pabrik terutama dalam melakukan aktifitas didalam proses produksi serta kurangnya setting mesin atau alat yang akan digunakan dalam proses produksi genteng begitu juga matrial yang tidak sesuai dengan ukuran yang sudah ditentukan oleh perusahaan untuk proses produksi. Serta perlunya waktu yang tepat sesuai permintaan konsumen atau order konsumen sesuai jadwal yang sudah ditentukan. Maka Just In Time sangat berpengaruh dalam memproduksi genteng dengan waktu yang sudah ditentukan sesuai dengan jadwal pemesanan dan tidak mengurangi kualitas produk genteng Kia
