ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL CONNECTIONS ABILITY ON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Mathematical connection is the ability to make connections to understanding mathematical concepts that are associated with contexts outside of mathematics. Various studies revealed that the students' mathematical connection is still low; therefore, this study aims to describe the difficulties of junior high school students in mathematical connection ability. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The study sample was 52 students from a junior high school in East Flores Regency. The methods used in this study were tests, observations, and interviews. The study results showed that the mathematical connection ability based on the three indicators of connection ability tends to be below. The sumatran elephant is rare animals wich spreadin almost all parts of sumatera island. The conflict between people with the sumatran elephants often occurred in the forest area alongside people settlement. The large amount of sumatran elephants population in Tesso Nilo National Park highly dependent on the carrying capacity of the habitat and the available feed. This research aims to know populationof sumatran elephants and carrying capacity of feedthe sumatran elephantin the area of Tesso Nilo National Park Province of Riau. Implementation of A Referral System for National Health Insurance Patients in Werang Health Center West Manggarai Regency
Data Puskesmas Werang menunjukkan rasio rujukan kasus non spesialistik tahun 2018 sebesar 30,12%, tahun 2019 sebesar 28,33% dan tahun 2020 sebesar 32,21%. Peraturan BPJS Kesehatan No. 7 Tahun 2019 menyatakan rasio rujukan kasus non spesialistik maksimal 2%. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi dan struktur birokrasi dalam implementasi sistem rujukan pasien peserta JKN di Puskesmas Werang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Werang pada bulan Desember 2021. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 58 petugas kesehatan di Puskesmas Werang. Informan penelitian sebanyak 12 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel komunikasi sudah berjalan baik. Variabel sumber daya manusia yakni ketersediaan tenaga kesehatan masih kurang, alat kesehatan dan obat-obatan sudah cukup lengkap, kewenangan dan anggaran rujukan telah sesuai. Variabel disposisi yakni sikap petugas kesehatan telah baik. Variabel struktur birokrasi Puskesmas Werang mempunyai SOP rujukan. Disarankan bagi pemerintah daerah agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga kesehatan maupun sarana prasarana Puskesmas

Reducing Visceral-Motion-Related Artifacts on the Liver with Dual-Energy CT: A Comparison of Four Different CT Scanner Techniques
Purpose: To assess the influence of different dual-energy CT (DECT) scanner techniques on the severity of visceral-motion-related artifacts on the liver. Methods: Two independent readers retrospectively evaluated visceral-motion-related artifacts on the liver on 120-kVp(-like), monoenergetic low- and high-keV, virtual non-contrast (VNC), and iodine images acquired on a dual-source, twin-beam, fast kV-switching, and dual-layer spectral detector scanner. Quantitative assessment: Depth of artifact extension into the liver, measurements of Hounsfield Units (HU) and iodine concentrations. Qualitative assessment: Five-point Likert scale (1 = none to 5 = severe). Artifact severity between image reconstructions were compared by Wilcoxon signed-rank and paired t-tests. Results: 615 contrast-enhanced routine clinical DECT scans of the abdomen were evaluated in 458 consecutive patients (mean age: 61 +/- 14 years, 331 men). For dual-source and twin-beam scanners, depth of extension of artifacts into the liver was significantly shorter and artifact severity scores significantly lower for 120-kVp-like images compared with the other image reconstructions (p < 0.001, each). For fast kV-switching and spectral detector scanner images, depth of extension of artifacts was significantly shorter and artifact severity scores significantly lower for iodine images (p < 0.001, each). Dual-source 120-kVp-like and spectral detector iodine images reduced artifacts to an extent that no significant difference in HU or iodine concentrations between artifacts (dual-source: 97 HU, spectral detector: 1.9 mg/mL) and unaffected liver parenchyma (dual-source: 108 HU, spectral detector: 2.1 mg/mL) was measurable (dual-source: p = 0.32, spectral detector: p = 0.15). Conclusion: Visceral-motion-related artifacts on the liver can be markedly reduced by viewing 120-kVp-like images for dual-source and twin-beam DECT scanners and iodine images for fast kV-switching and dual-layer spectral detector DECT scanners
KARAKTERISTIK FISIKOKIMIA DAN ORGANOLEPTIK SPAGHETTI BERBAHAN DASAR TEPUNG JAGUNG PULUT GORONTALO DAN TEPUNG LABU KUNING
Salah satu varietas jagung yang dibudidayakan di Gorontalo yaitu jagung pulut lokal Gorontalo. Pemanfaatan jagung pulut ini masih kurang bervariasi, sehingga diperlukan inovasi olahan yang memanfaatkan jagung pulut Gorontalo sebagai bahan baku utama pembuatan produk yaitu produk spaghetti. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 3 kali ulangan untuk semua perlakuan dan menggunakan analisis ANOVA dan uji Duncan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu nilai daya serap air spaghetti tertinggi yaitu 6,92 pada perlakuan kontrol. Nilai cooking loss tertinggi yaitu 15, 67 pada spaghetti dengan konsentrasi tepung jagung pulut terbanyak. Sedangkan nilai elongasi tertinggi terdapat pada spaghetti yang menggunakan 100% tepung terigu (kontrol). Nilai kadar air tertinggi yaitu 10,05% pada spaghetti yang menggunakan 100% tepung terigu.Ssedangkan aktivitas antioksidan untuk semua perlakuan spaghetti memiliki nilai yang sama yaitu berada pada kisaran 131 ppm. Karakteritik organoleptik spaghetti meliputi rasa, warna, tekstur dan aroma. Nilai rasa, warna dan aroma spaghetti yang diberikan oleh panelis untuk semua perlakuan hampir sama kecuali nilai tekstur yang diberikan panelis berbeda untuk setiap perlakuan.Kata Kunci: Jagung Pulut Gorontalo, Labu Kuning, Spaghett
Thoracoscopic detection of occult indeterminate pulmonary nodules using bronchoscopic pleural dye marking
Background: The annual incidence of a small indeterminate pulmonary nodule (IPN) on computed tomography (CT) scan remains high. While traditional paradigms exist, the integration of new technologies into these diagnostic and treatment algorithms can result in alternative, potentially more efficient methods of managing these findings. Methods: We report on an alternative diagnostic and therapeutic strategy for the management of an IPN. This approach combines electromagnetic navigational bronchoscopy (ENB) with an updated approach to placement of a pleural dye marker. This technique lends itself to a minimally invasive wedge resection via either video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) or a robotic approach. Results: Subsequent to alterations in the procedure, a cohort of 22 patients with an IPN was reviewed. Navigation was possible in 21 out of 22 patients with one patient excluded based on airway anatomy. The remaining 21 patients underwent ENB with pleural dye marking followed by minimally invasive wedge resection. The median size of the nodules was 13.4 mm (range: 7–29). There were no complications from the ENB procedure. Indigo carmine dye was used in ten patients. Methylene blue was used in the remaining 11 patients. In 81% of cases, the visceral pleural marker was visible at the time of surgery. In one patient, there was diffuse staining of the parietal pleura. In three additional patients, no dye was identified within the hemithorax. In all cases where dye marker was present on the visceral pleural surface, it was in proximity to the IPN and part of the excised specimen. Conclusions: ENB with pleural dye marking can provide a safe and effective method to localize an IPN and can allow for subsequent minimally invasive resection. Depending on the characteristics and location of the nodule, this method may allow more rapid identification intraoperatively
Small-angle X-ray diffraction studies of a molluscan smooth muscle in the catch state
Small-angle X-ray diffraction patterns from the anterior byssus retractor muscle of Mytilus edulis in the resting, active, and catch states were examined closely to elucidate the structural features of catch. The specimens were isometrically contracted by stimulation with acetylcholine. The specimens that produced strong tensions in both the active and catch states showed noticeable structural change in the thick filaments. Although the tension was weaker in the catch state than in the active state, the axial spacings of the 14.5 nm meridional reflection and its higher order reflections from the thick filaments were more elongated in the catch state than in the active state. This means that the thick filaments were stretched more strongly in the catch state than in the active state
Charmless Hadronic Two-Body B Meson Decays
We report the results of a study of two-body B meson decays to the complete
set of K pi, pi pi, and K K final states. The study is performed on a data
sample of 31.7 +/- 0.3 million B B-bar events recorded on the Upsilon(4S)
resonance by the Belle experiment at KEKB. We observe significant signals in
all K pi final states and in the pi+ pi- and pi+ pi0 final states. We set
limits on the pi0 pi0 and K K final states. A search is performed for
partial-rate asymmetries between conjugate states for flavor-specific final
