    Penelitian ini dilakukanuntuk : 1) Bagaimana awal munculnya Angkringan di Padongko Kabupaten Barru?2) Hal-hal apa saja yang disediakan di Angkringan Padongko Kabupaten Barru? 3) Bagaimana dampak dari keberadaan Angkringan di Padongko Kabupaten Barru? Di dalam penelitian ini, penulis melakukan penentuan terhadap informan yang akan diteliti. Penentuan sumber data pada orang yang diwawancarai dilakukan secara purposive, yaitu dipilih dengan pertimbangan dan tujuan tertentu, dan peneliti memasuki situasi sosial tertentu dan melakukan observasi dan wawancara kepada orang-orang yang dipandang tahu tentang situasi sosial tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa:1) Awal munculnya Angkringan di Padongko Kabupaten Barru terjadi pada tahun 2013. Dimana dulunya Angkringan hanya dikenal dengan sebutan kios yang dijadikan sebagai tempat wisata kuliner, namun seiring dengan kemajuan dan berkembangnya teknologi kios tersebut mengalami peningkatan dengan adanya penambahan fasilitas karaokean di tiap kiosnya sehingga menarik perhatian para pengunjung. 2) Hal-hal yang disediakan di Angkringan Padongko Kabupaten Barru yakni penyediaan fasilitas karaokean secara gratis, menerima jasa pemesanan makanan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai tempat arisan dan reuni dengan sistem sewa tempat terlebih dahulu. 3) Dampak dari keberadaan Angkringan di Padongko Kabupaten Barru menimbulkan dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak positifnya yaitu membuka lapangan pekerjaan dan dijadikan sebagai tempat nongkrong dan karaokean yang murah meriah. Adapun dampak negatifnya yaitu dapat mengganggu ketenngan warga sekitar.     Royong adalah senandung magis yang mengiringi hampir semua aspek ritual kehidupan orang Makassar. Walaupun royong sebagai sebuah perangkat tradisi masa silam, namun kenyataannya di era modern dewasa ini, ada sebagian masyarakat yang telah meninggalkan tradisi lisan tersebut dan ada juga yang tetap mempertahankan tradisi royong tersebut. Oleh karena itu rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (i) apa penyebab masyarakat mempertahankan royong di Kelurahan Salaka Kecamatan Pattallassang Kabupaten Takalar ? (ii) bagaimana eksistesnsi royong dalam masyarakat Kelurahan Salaka Kecamatan Pattallassang Kabupaten Takalar ? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (i) Untuk mengetahui penyebab masyarakat mempertahankan royong Kelurahan Salaka Kecamatan Pattallassang Kabupaten Takalar; (ii) Untuk mengetahui eksistensi royong dalam masyarakat di Kelurahan Salaka Kecamatan Pattallassang Kabupaten Takalar. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi/pengamatan, interview (wawancara), dan dokumentasi. Serta analis data melalui reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (display data) dan penyimpulan data (culclusion drawing/verivication). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) masyarakat Kelurahan Salaka masih mempertahankan royong karena faktor budaya, faktor mistis dan relegius, faktor pangngadakkang. (ii) Eksistensi royong dalam masyarakat Kelurahan Salaka telah mengalami pergeseran nilai dan tata ritual disebabkan faktor geografis, faktor pola pikir, faktor pewarisan berbasis keluarga, faktor pendidikan dan paham agama.     Nusa Pustaka dan Rumpita dalam Upaya Perkembangan Budaya Literasi di Polewali Mandar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana awal kemunculan Nusa Pustaka dan Rumpita di Polewali Mandar; (2) Bagaimana upaya Nusa Pustaka dan Rumpita dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi di Polewali Mandar; (3) Bagaimana implikasi kehadiran Nusa Pustaka dan Rumpita dalam budaya literasi di Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatifdesain deskriptif. Jumlah informan 18 orang, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sumpling; dengan karakteristik (1) Penggiat literasi (2) Pelajar (3) Masyarakat.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan teknik analisis data, berupa reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Juga pengabsahan datamenggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunujukkan bahwa (1) Awal kemunculan Nusa Pustaka tak bisa lepas dariArmada Pustaka dan Perahu Pustaka.Dengan bertambahnya donasi buku, maka untuk dapat menampung buku tersebut, dibuatlah perpustakaan, yaitu Nusa Pustaka.Sedangkan awal kemunculan Rumpitadengan melihat maraknya cafe-cafe yang tidak menyediakan fasilitas buku. Jadi muncul ide untuk membentuk sebuah Rumah Kopi yang menghidangkan makanan, minuman, jaringan wifi dan beberapa buku; (2) Upaya Nusa Pustaka dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi adalah dengan menggunakan perpustakaan bergerak, seperti Bendi Pustaka,Becak Pustaka dan Motor Pustaka. Sedangkan upaya Rumpita dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi, denganmelakukan pembinaan terhadap komunitas, diantaranya komunitas Educare, Rumah Baca Mentari dan Agent Of Sharing; (3) Implikasi kehadiran Nusa Pustaka dalam budaya literasi, kalangan anak sekolah yang sering keNusa Pustakabermain dan belajar dan ada juga yang terbantu dalam meminjam buku dan mengerjakan tugas di Rumpita. Orang tua yang melihat perubahan anaknya dengan sering meminjam buku di Nusa Pustaka, serta masyarakat yang sering menantikan buku yang dibawa Rumpita. Seorang nelayan dan beberapa tahanan yang merasakan manfaatsetelah membaca buku dari Nusa Pustaka dan Rumpita. Terakhir dari komunitas PAGI yang mendapat sumbangsi atau bantuan buku dan Pemuda Takatidung yang terinspirasi dan mengikuti bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan Nusa Pustaka dan Rumpita.     Development of Smart Character Education Through Learning “Higt-Touch And Higt-Tech” (School Studies in Makassar City)

    Abstract The dynamics of student character formation through learning that is how the contents of learning, activities of educating, teaching, training, and guiding. From the perspective of the content of learning the success of a learning process is seen from the formation of character. The learning that has taken place in educational institutions in the city of Makassar has so far emphasized self-actualization. Indicators of success can be seen from individual excellence to beat competitors. This is the reference in this study that education is so important for intelligent character in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the application of intelligent character learning through learning “Higt-Touch and Higt-Tech” in Makassar City, (2) the problem of learning smart character through learning “Higt-Touch and Higt-Tech” in the City Makassar. This type of research is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The type of data in this study consists of primary and secondary data, with data collection techniques namely interview, documentation and observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative technique. The results of this study indicate that (1) the application of intelligent character learning through learning “Higt-Touch and Higt-Tech” in Makassar can be known with three parameters: learning that is able to increase competence in the form of understanding (knowledge), skills, and the values of Pancasila as the nation’s character. (2) the problems of intelligent character learning through learning “Higt-Touch and Higt-Tech” in Makassar City are: students are not comfortable and lack enthusiasm to be and learn in the school environment, learning is felt as a difficult activity, the practice of violence and punishment, learning management, schools allow for discrimination, and lack of closeness between students and educators

    This thesis discussed the history of Political Biography of Nadjamoeddin Daeng Malewa from 1907-1949. He was one of the nationality characters of South Sulawesi. The issue in this research was: how the nationality ideas of Nadjamoeddin Daeng Malewa in South Sulawesi were. This problem was traced by using written sources such as archives, magazines, and newspapers which were contemporaries of ANRI Jakarta, Jakarta National Library, as well as Archives of South Sulawesi in Makassar. To analyze this problem, the author used a theoretical framework of actor oriented. This approach focused more on what was done by the actor in a political arena. In this context, a political competition was analyzed in depth to see more detail what was done by an actor. From the analysis process which had been done, it could be concluded that the nationality ideas of Nadjamoeddin Daeng Malewa in South Sulawesi were reflected in several interrelated parts. First: institutionalizing ethnic unity in the Political Party, both locally and nationally. Second: Realizing and improving education for native people. Third: Achieving native people's economy by utilizing local potentials of Timur Besar societies. In an effort to realize the ideas of nationality, these three interrelated concepts were used by Nadjamoeddin Daeng Malewa as a pillar for the establishment of a sovereign state institution politically, educationally, and economically. When the country had been supported by these pillars, the society as a mass base would be able to recognize themselves as a part of a large Indonesian nation entity, capable of standing at the same height and sitting at the same lowness with other nations, no exception with the Dutch Nation

    Cultivating Nationalism and National Insight Through Film for Students at MTs Miftahul Ulum, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi

    This study aims to foster the spirit of nationalism and or national insight in students at MTs Miftahul Ulum, Gowa Regency through Indonesian genre films. Film is a medium that is easily understood and digested by students compared to other media that tend to be conventional. The method used is watching Indonesian genre films. Through watching this film, students gain an aspect of consciousness, so that after watching the film, students feel and bring up in their minds the importance of protecting and loving Indonesia, both as a homeland and as a nation. The results showed that after they finished watching several films such as: Denias, Senandung di Atas Awan and Tanah Surga “Katanya”, it showed that they were able to have knowledge and understanding that nationalism and national insight were not only about fighting the colonialists (Dutch and Japanese Colonial). They have an understanding that nationalism can be expressed in different forms according to the context of the era. Students love and are proud of Indonesia

    This study presents the application of a problem-based learning model at the State Junior High School 2 Majene. This study aims to describe the methods used by teachers in the application of problembased learning models. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used with interviews and documentation. Problem-based learning is a learning approach by developing critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills and is used to stimulate students’ higher-order thinking. Problem-based learning makes real problems as suggestions for the learning process before knowing the formal concepts. In the application of learning in SMP Negeri 2 Majene seen in 3 aspects, namely; characteristic aspects, aspects of the nature of the strategy and aspects of the stages in the strategy. These aspects illustrate that the implementation of problem-based learning strategies in SMP Negeri 2 Majene has been going well
