    Instant Message Transfer between Two Smart Phones Using Wi-Fi

    Instant messaging has been widely used with the power of internet; people can use a message& talk to family, friends and co-workers. In the company, colleagues can send and reply instant message in real time without face to face; meanwhile the work report can be shared during the instant chat session. People can message to multiple people in the virtual share ideas and get conclusions. What's more, the staff can talk to customers or vendors online as well, in other word, now people can do business through the instant messenger direct rather than use the traditional method like make phone calls. The use of instant messaging nowadays is more than the calling function itself. The main objective of this paper is to introduce a methodology to provide instant Messaging Service over the android based smart phone users connected over via Wi-Fi. The proposed method is based on sending/receiving messages via Wi-Fi connection with the support of client –server programming without taking any service from mobile service provider and without the use of internet connection

    AIWFF: A Machine Learning based Framework for Automatic Weather Forecasting

    In the contemporary era witnessing global warming effects, weather is a dynamic phenomenon which is highly uncertain. The conventional approaches that rely on certain physical processes governing atmosphere are capable of serving a great deal in weather forecasting. However, robustness to perturbations is still desired. In this content Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovations assume significance to bring about more reliable forecasting alternative which may complement conventional methods. In this paper, we proposed a framework known as AI-enabled Weather Forecasting Framework (AIWFF) which exploits machine learning (ML) models that are robust to time series data and underlying perturbations for improving forecasting performance. An algorithm known as Learning based Intelligent Weather Forecasting (LIWF) is proposed and implemented.  This algorithm has required pre-processing, feature section and a pipeline of ML models to learn from data and then forecast weather more accurately. Another algorithm known as Hybrid Method for Feature Selection (HMFS) is proposed to leverage training quality in LIWF algorithm. The framework results in three trained knowledge models saved to secondary storage. These models are known as Random Forest Regressor, Linear Regressor and Decision Tree Regressor. An application with Graphical User Interface (GUI) is developed to make use of these knowledge models and provide forecasting on user requests.     DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF RP-HPLC METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS ESTIMATION OF LAMIVUDINE AND ZIDOVUDINE IN BULK

    Objective: The scope of the present work is to expand and optimization of the chromatographic conditions and to develop RP-HPLC method. Methods: The method was performed with various columns like C18 column, kromasil column, Hypersil BDS column. Among them, Symmetry C18 (250x4.6 mm, 5um) was found to be ideal as it gave good peak shape at 0.8 ml/min flow and validated for various parameters such as linearity, precision, accuracy, System suitability, Specificity, % Assay, Robustness, etc. Results: The system suitability parameters were evaluated from standard chromatograms by calculating the % RSD from five replicate injections for Lamivudine and Zidovudine retention times and peak areas. The % RSD for the retention times of principal peak from 5 replicate injections of each standard solution were less than 2.0 %. The Linearity and correlation coefficient of Lamivudine and zidovudine was found to be 0.999. Precision was performed and % RSD for Lamivudine and Zidovudine were found to be less than 2.0. The % Recovery for each level was found to be the range of 98.0 to 102%. In Robustness, the % RSD of the peak area of all peaks for five replicate injections should be not more than 2.0. Conclusion: Hence, the chromatographic method developed for Lamivudine and Zidovudine is said to be rapid, simple, specific, sensitive, precise, accurate and reliable that can be effectively applied for routine analysis in research institutions, quality control department in industries, approved testing laboratories, bio-pharmaceutics and bio-equivalence studies and in clinical pharmacokinetic studies

    Duckweed (Lemnaceae): Its Molecular Taxonomy

    Duckweeds include the world's smallest and fastest growing flowering plants that have the capacity to produce huge biomass with a broad range of potential applications like production of feed and food, biofuel and biogas. In order to achieve optimal and sustainable commercial system, it is necessary that suitable species and clones of duckweeds be identified and selected based on appropriate strategies. However, a high degree of reduction in their structural complexity poses serious problems in identification of closely related species of duckweeds, on a morphological basis. Use of molecular taxonomic tools is the present solution. The state of the art of molecular taxonomy of all the five genera of duckweeds (Spirodela, Landoltia, Lemna, Wolffiella, and Wolffia) is based mainly on the techniques of fingerprinting by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) and barcoding using sequences of plastidic DNA fragments. After more than 15 years of molecular taxonomic investigations, a certain viewpoint is now available demonstrating all five genera to be monophyletic. Also, the phenetic analyses had made huge progress in delineating the currently defined 36 species of duckweeds, although, all species cannot yet be defined with confidence. Wolffiella has turned out to be the most complicated genus as only 6 to 7 species out of the 10 can be reliably delineated. Further progress in the phylogenetic and phenetic analyses requires more advanced methods like next generation and/or whole genome sequencing. First results using the method genotyping-by-sequencing in the genus Lemna (in combination with metabolomic profiling by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass-spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) as well as AFLP and barcoding by plastidic sequences) are more promising: The species Lemna valdiviana and Lemna yungensis were united to one species, Lemna valdiviana. This reduced the total number of Lemnaceae species to 36

    Fournier's gangrene is rare necrotizing soft tissue infection affecting the perianal, perineal, and genital areas. The mean age of the reported cases was found to be at 55 y, predominantly in men. It occurs due to insufficient blood supply to the affected areas, along with the presence of an infection. Delay in the treatment is associated with a higher mortality rate, up to 90%, as the condition might progress to septic shock and other complications. Treatment requires urgent surgical debridement of all the necrotic tissue along with high doses of broad-spectrum antibiotics. Empirical broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy is to be initiated as soon as possible until the results of the culture cause modifications in the therapy

    ORAL PEMPHIGUS - A CASE REPORT

    PEMPHIGUS is a serious chronic skin disease characterized by the appearance of vesicles & bullae, small or large fluid filled blisters that develop in cycles. The term pemphigus refers to a group of autoimmune blistering diseases of skin and mucous membranes that are characterized histologically by intraepidermal blisters due to acantholysis and immunopathologically by an in vivo bound & circulating IgG directed against the cell surface of keratinocytes. Pemphigus vulgaris is the most common form and frequently affects oral cavity. Main antigen is Dsg 3 (desmoglein) but 50% of patients also have autoantibodies to Dsg 1. Dsg 3: Dsg 1 is directly proportional to severity. We present a case of pemphigus occurring in the oral cavity of a 45-year-old male. Treatment with oral prednisolone and topical steroid resulted in remission of the disease. Clinical features, histological features and treatment of pemphigus vulgaris will be discussed.     ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OF METHANOLIC EXTRACT OF HIBISCUS PLANTIFOLIUS

    Objective: The objective of the present study was to carry out anti-inflammatory activity of methanolic extract of Hibiscus plantifolius (MEHP) belonging to the family Malvaceae.Methods: The shade dried stem part of H. plantifolius (1 kg) was powdered and extracted with methanol using soxhletion. The extract was concentrated using rotary evaporator under reduced pressure at 40°C, till free from the solvents and thereby providing crude methanol extract which was subsequently employed for further studies. Anti-inflammatory effect was studied by carrageenan-induced paw edema model in rats at dose level of 50, 150, and 300 mg/kg. Acute oral toxicity study was also studied.Results: The results indicate that MEHP, 300 mg/kg, exhibited significant inhibition (p<0.001) of increase in paw edema at 4th h.Conclusion: The results of the experimental study confirmed that MEHP possesses significant anti-inflammatory activity

    OPTIMIZATION OF IRBESARTAN TABLET FORMULATION BY 23 FACTORIAL DESIGN

    Irbesartan, a widely prescribed anti hypertensive drug belongs to class II under BCS classification and exhibit low and variable oral bioavailability due to its poor aqueous solubility. It needs enhancement in the dissolution rate in its formulation development. Complexation with β-cyclodextrin (βCD) and use of Crospovidone and PVP K 30 are tried for enhancing the dissolution rate of irbesartan in its formulation development. The objective of the present study is optimization of irbesartan tablet formulation employing Crospovidone, βCD and PVP K 30 by 23 Factorial design. Formulation of irbesartan tablets with NLT 85% dissolution in 15 min employing Crospovidone, βCD and PVP K 30 was optimized by 23 Factorial design. Eight irbesartan tablet formulations were prepared using selected combinations of the three Factors as per 23 Factorial designs. Irbesartan tablets were prepared by direct compression method and were evaluated for drug content, hardness, friability, disintegration time and dissolution rate characteristics. The dissolution rate (K1) values were analysed as per ANOVA of 23 Factorial design to find the significance of the individual and combined effects of the three Factors (βCD, Crospovidone and PVP K 30) involved on the dissolution rate of irbesartan tablets formulated. The individual and combined effects of βCD, Crospovidone and PVP K 30 on the dissolution rate (K1) of irbesartan tablets are highly significant (P<0.01). Irbesartan tablet formulation (PFac), disintegrated rapidly with in 1 min and gave very rapid dissolution of irbesartan,100% in 15 min. Higher levels of βCD and lower levels of Crospovidone gave low dissolution rates of irbesartan tablets. The increasing order of dissolution rate (K1) observed with various formulations was CFac> CFa>CFab>CFabc> CF1> CFbc> CFb> CFc. The polynomial equation describing the relationship between the response i. e. percent drug dissolved in 15 min (Y) and the levels of Crospovidone (X1),βCD (X2) and PVP K 30 (X3) based on the observed results is Y = 58.57+34.54 (X1) - 1.89(X2) – 3.60 (X1 X2) -1.82 (X3) +1.50 (X1 X3) + 3.13 (X2 X3) - 4.87 (X1 X2 X3). Based on the above polynomial equation, the optimized irbesartan tablet formulation with NLT 85% dissolution in 15 min could be formulated employing Crospovidone at 27.70% of drug content, βCD at 1:4 ratio of drug: βCD and PVP K 30 at 1% of drug content. The optimized irbesartan tablet formulation gave 86.18 % dissolution in 15 min fulfilling the target dissolution set. The dissolution profile of the optimized Irbesartan tablet formulation was similar to that of commercial brand (IROVEL-150). Hence the formulation of irbesartan tablets with NLT 85% dissolution in 15 min could be optimized by 23 Factorial design
