A Critical Study and Analysis on theory and practices in Cinematic adaptation

    Get PDF
When communicating a message to a listener or reader whose mother tongue is not the same as our own, especially when that person does not even understand the language, we must use different ways or methods to get the message across as clearly as possible. While we can use gestures, signs, or noises in order to make ourselves understood, when communicating something written, we must turn to translators. One of the tools used in translation is adaptation. It is used in many cases, as cultural differences between different speakers can cause confusion that can sometimes be tricky to understand or simply prevent us from understanding each other. This paper will analyse and will discuss the paradox in the theory of adaptation

Madame Bovary and its Cinematic Adaptation in English

Madame Bovary, a classic novel by Gustave Flaubert in 1856 already created a stir in the society so its Film Adaptation whether in Hindi or English. Already filmed by Jean Renoir, Claude Chabrol and Vincente Minnelli, Gustave Flaubert’s 1856 classic Madame Bovary does another neurotic tango through the villages of Normandy in this latest adaptation of the seminal French classic about the ambitious wife of a simple country doctor whose adulterous affairs and mounting debts to escape the boredom of a dead-end life destroy her husband’s career, her reputation and eventually her life. The results are realistic and refined, but uneven and disappointing.  When Gustave Flaubert's first novel came out, there was a very French reaction they put the language of the book on trial. The ostensible charge was obscenity, but the trial went much deeper. The prosecutor argued that the novel's realism was itself immoral: an offence against art. Flaubert was acquitted but they were dead right about his aims. Madame Bovary was a bomb thrown at romanticism

    Get PDF
Over the past three decades, medical imaging technology has revolutionized the healthcare sector. It enables medical professionals to detect disease early and improve patient outcomes. Large amounts of semi-structured and unstructured picture data that lack a set schema are produced as health records. Better data models for storage and retrieval are required. Big Data may be stored and retrieved much more easily with NoSQL (Not merely SQL) databases. Hence, the suggestion is to store medical health records in a NoSQL database. This essay aims to contrast several NoSQL databases from the perspective of image technology

In today’s scenario due to market competition there is wide spread use of power electronic equipments in power system but these devises poses non-linear characteristics and fast switching action causes harmonics in the system. Harmonics is predominant power quality issue and generation of harmonics have adverse effect on sensitive equipments. These equipments will continue polluting the system more and more due to built-in compensation and sometimes for the lack of enforced regulations. Power quality issues are of biggest concern because poor power quality result in loss of reliability, increased cost and poor efficiency. Active power filters have been developed over There are different types of active power filters available among which shunt active power filter is extensively considered to eliminate the load current harmonics and reactive power compensation. In this work performance improvement of three-phase shunt active power filter to compensate harmonics current and reactive power to improve power quality is explained for three-phase systems. The insulated gate bipolar transistor based voltage source inverter with DC capacitor is used as active power filter. The shunt active filter employs instantaneous PQ theory for reference current generation. Adaptive hysteresis current controller is used for voltage source inverter switching signal generation and tuning of shunt active power filter which maintain the switching frequency the years to solve these problems to improve power quality by Harmonic Reduction. constant, hence overcoming the drawbacks of hysteresis band current controller. The shunt active power filter generates compensating signal which reduces the harmonic component of the system. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15033

Background: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common condition among men with diabetes and it is associated with reduced quality of life among those affected. ED has reported to increase with age, increasing from 5% at 40 years to > 50 % at 75 years of age. The incidence of ED is increasing day by day with the incidence of diabetes and the prevalence of ED is estimated between 35-50%. Erectile Dysfunction (ED); inability to achieve and/or maintaining an erection sufficient to permit satisfactory sexual intercourse, is one of complication associated with diabetes and often ignored. ED problem is psycho-organic, because it affects the man as whole. The diabetes and oxidative stress are major contributors for ED. Objective: Though there are many medicinal plants shows the antidiabetic and related to beneficial effect in ED. Among those medicinal plants we selected and reviewed Rason (Allium sativum Linn.), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera Dunal) and Ashwatha (Ficus religiosa Linn.) To assess and find out the antidiabetic effect and their efficacy in ED. Research methods and procedure: In the present study, we collected and compiled (Various research journals) the references regarding previous work done on antidiabetic effect of above mentioned medicinal plants w.s.r to E.D. Discussion & Conclusion: on the basis of our literary review it is concluded that the Rason (Allium sativum), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) and Ashwatha (Ficus religiosa) are responsible for significant antidiabetic effect with the hypoglycemic property and also exhibit the efficacy in ED due to aphrodisiac properties

Energy is the basic need of human to survive in this dynamic world. The whole world is toiling hard to meet its energy demands. Every country in this world has high energy demand owing to its increasing population which is posing a threat to energy sustainability. Generally, Energy is consumed in Agriculture, Residential and Transportation sector in which transportation sector has a high percentage of energy consumption. Conventional fuels which are used to power vehicles are having limited reserves. In the present scenario, Petroleum reserves are depleting at a faster rate and causing environmental pollution. It has inspired the researchers to develop new alternate fuels. Alternate fuels are having significant energy content and lower emissions as compared to conventional fuels. Alcohol, Biodiesel, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Hydrogen are the alternate fuels which are being used today. CNG is being used extensively all over the world. CNG is having low laminar burning velocity which makes it more prone towards knocking. Hydrogen has high laminar burning velocity which makes it a better supplement to CNG. The blend thus obtained by mixing Hydrogen and CNG is known as Hythane or HCNG. Hythane has the advantages of both the parent fuels which make it a promising fuel for automotives. This paper includes the effect of Hydrogen addition to CNG which is tested on a single cylinder, four-stroke, water cooled SI engine. Determination of optimum percentage of Hydrogen in CNG and emissions analysis is also included in the paper
