    Islamic education at Madrasah Diniyah plays an important role in shaping the Islamic character and identity of the next generation of Muslims. This article presents an overview of the traditionalist education model applied in learning activities at Madrasah Diniyah, with a special focus on the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores the values, characteristics of Islamic madrasas and traditionalism in organizing learning. In the context of Islamic educational philosophy, this article explores the fundamental principles that form the philosophical basis of the traditionalist educational model at Madrasah Diniyah. Through document analysis, interviews and classroom observations, this research tries to explain the relationship between the teachings of the Al-Qur’an and Sunnah and the practice of learning at Madrasah Diniyah. The research results highlight the positive contribution of the traditionalist education model to the formation of students' Islamic and moral character. It was found that teaching methods that emphasize memorizing sacred Islamic texts, developing noble morals, and instilling Islamic heritage values ​​are important points in this model. The discussion in the article discusses the challenges faced by the traditionalist education model, including adaptation to modern-day demands and the integration of technology in the learning process. This research provides a deeper understanding of how the traditionalism model at Madrasah Diniyah can remain relevant and contribute positively in the context of Islamic education in the contemporary era. The conclusion underlines the importance of understanding philosophical values ​​and absorbing the essence of the traditionalist educational model as an integral part of inheriting Islamic wisdom

    Writing skills are a specific perspective that allows writers to put their thoughts into words. Students mentally connect with words and messages through writing skills. Writing, on the other hand, is a difficult skill to master. It requires the ability to combine words and sentences. The researcher used qualitative research. Qualitative research methods focus on in-depth understanding, interpretation, and disclosure of the meaning of the data collected. The type of research used by the researcher is a case study. A case study is used because the researcher can understand the context, process, and complexity of the phenomenon under study. This type of research allows the researcher to explore perspectives, experiences, and meanings in the data collected related to An Analysis of Factors that Affectefl Studentsaffect students research results can provide deep, contextual, and detailed insights into the case under study, which can be used to inform policies, practices, or further theoretical development. The subjects in this study are English Education Students at a University in Jakarta, Indonesia. Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that students who are less motivated, less confident, and do not want to practice writing are due to several interrelated factors. These factors are a misunderstanding of writing, lack of experience, and negative self-perception. Misunderstanding writing can make students feel that writing is difficult and boring. Lack of experience can lead students not to have the skills they need to write well. Negative self-perception can lead students to feel that they are not good writers and will never be able to improve their skills. Therefore, to improve students' motivation, confidence, and interest in writing, efforts must be made to address these factors. Teachers and students must collaborate to develop effective and efficient writing learning strategies

    Effectiveness of The Inquiry Training Model to Improve Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Learning: Systematic Literature Reviews and Meta-Analysis

    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Inquiry training model to improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning. This type of research is a systematic literature review and meta-analysis.  Research data sources come from national and international journals. The process of searching for sources in this study through the google scholar database, Eric, ScienceDirect, Wiley, Taylor or Francis, and ProQuest. Data collection techniques with direct observation and documentation. Inclusion criteria in this study are journals or proceedings indexed by SINTA, DOAJ, EBSCO, and Scopus; type of experimental or quasi-experimental research; research variables related to inquiry training in science learning (Biology, physics, and chemistry); journal or proceedings published in 2017-2023 and 5) Has complete research data standard deviation, Standard Erro, t value, and others. The data analysis technique is quantitative statistical data analysis with the help of the JSAP application. The results showed an average effect size value of (ES = 1.90) and a Standard Error (SE = 0.67).     This research is an experimental research which aims to find out whether there is an effect of the PhET Assisted Discovery Learning Model on the achievement of Class VIII Students on Straight Line Equations Material at SMP Negeri 36 Kerinci. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an influence of the PhET Assisted Discovery Learning Model on the Achievements of Class VIII Students on Straight Line Equations Material at SMP Negeri 36 Kerinci. This type of research is experimental research by providing different treatment to the experimental class and control class in mathematics learning. The population in this study was class VIII SMP Negeri 36 Kerinci for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of 70 people. Then the experimental class and control class were determined randomly, which assigned class VIII B as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. The instrument used in this research is an objective test in the form of multiple choice. Before the test was given, it was first tried out in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci for the 2022/2023 academic year. The hypothesis test used in this study was the t-test, but previously the normality test and variance homogeneity test were carried out. From the results of the t-test, the value of tcount = 2.66 and ttable = 1.678. This means that tcount > ttable so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. From this calculation, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PhET Assisted Discovery Learning Model on the Achievements of Class VIII Students on Straight Line Equations Material at SMP Negeri 36 Kerinci at the 95% confidence level

This study aims to see whether online learning using the Whatsapp application on learning outcomes is effective or not. Based on the results of research and hypothesis testing that has been discussed, it can be concluded that the data analysis used is a hypothesis test, where the hypothesis test is used to see the effectiveness of online learning using the Whatsapp application on learning outcomes. In this study hypothesis testing used a one-sample t-test. Based on the results of the study, a p-value or sig value was obtained. = 0.000 < α = 0.05 So it can be said H_1 accepted, it can be concluded that online learning using the Whatsapp application on learning outcomes is effective

    Kurangnya adab dan pengetahuan siswa tentang akhlak islami dapat memberikan dampak buruk bagi kualitas seorang muslim dimasa depan. Sehingga diperlukan metode pembelajran yang lebih baik untuk memperkenalkan akhlak islami kepada siswa disekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh apa metode demontrasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang akhlak islami pada mata pelajaran PAI kelas III MI Darussalam Kota Surabaya. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas III sebanyak 25 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan mengukur pengetahuan tentang akhlak islami melalui tes dan observasi kepada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi dapat meningkat pengetahuan tentang akhlak islami pada siswa kelas III MI Darussalam Kota Surabaya. Ketuntasan akhlak islami siswa pada siklus I mencapai 60% atau dari 25 siswa terdapat 15 siswa yang tuntas. Peningkatan akhlak islami siswa pada siklus II mencapai 84% atau dari 25 siswa terdapat 21 siswa yang tunta

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendiskusikan implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga untuk membentuk karakter Ulul Albab. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis literatur yang terkait dengan implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga serta pembentukan karakter Ulul Albab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga dapat menjadi sarana efektif dalam membentuk karakter Ulul Albab dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam setiap kegiatan olahraga. Nilai-nilai Islam seperti kejujuran, disiplin, kerja keras, dan tanggung jawab dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan olahraga sebagai sarana untuk membangun karakter yang kuat. Dengan demikian, implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga dapat menjadi alternatif strategi dalam membentuk karakter Ulul Albab yang memiliki moralitas dan etika Islam yang baik. Kesimpulannya, pentingnya implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga sebagai salah satu upaya untuk membentuk karakter Ulul Albab yang berkualitas dan bermoral.     This paper explores the views of John Dewey and E. D. Hirsch on determining quality educational goals, and compares the similarities and differences between their approaches. The main objective of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the two prominent educational theorists and their ideas on quality educational goals, and to examine how their approaches differ and overlap. To achieve this objective, the research methodology adopted in this study is a comparative analysis of the two thinkers' views on education. The study begins with a thorough review of the literature on the educational theories of Dewey and Hirsch, followed by a comparative analysis of their approaches. The comparative analysis includes an examination of their perspectives on curriculum development, experiential learning, cultural literacy, and knowledge-based education. The data collected from the literature review and comparative analysis is then synthesized to develop a comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences between Dewey and Hirsch's approaches to determining quality educational goals. The findings of this research suggest that while Dewey and Hirsch's approaches differ in their emphasis on experiential learning versus cultural literacy, they share a common goal of providing a quality education that prepares students for active and engaged citizenship. Additionally, both Dewey and Hirsch emphasize the importance of effective curriculum development and individualized learning. Education policymakers and practitioners can draw on the insights provided by this research to develop a holistic approach to education that incorporates the strengths of both Dewey and Hirsch's perspectives

    This study aims to analyze and discuss the implementation of Islamic values in physical education and sports to foster the character of Ulul Albab. The research methodology employed in this study is a literature review, where relevant literature regarding the implementation of Islamic values in physical education and sports, as well as the character development of Ulul Albab, is collected and analyzed. The findings reveal that physical education and sports can serve as effective platforms for shaping the character of Ulul Albab by integrating Islamic values into every sporting activity. Islamic values such as honesty, discipline, hard work, and responsibility can be effectively incorporated into sports activities as means to cultivate strong character traits. Thus, the implementation of Islamic values in physical education and sports can be considered as an alternative strategy in shaping the character of Ulul Albab, individuals who possess good Islamic morality and ethics.
