ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТЬ КРЕМА, СОДЕРЖАЩЕГО ВЕРАПАМИЛА ГИДРОХЛОРИД, В ТЕРАПИИ РУБЦОВ В ЭКСПЕРИМЕНТЕ

The data in respect to efficacy of verapamil-containing scar cream for treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars are presented in the article. Skin scars were simulated in rats by excision of a full-thickness skin flap size 5x4 cm2 in the center of the back. Upon wound healing and scar formation a daily twofold fomentation of verapamil-containing cream was carried out. Treatment efficacy was checked after 10, 30 and 60 days. The following indices were studied: an area of the scar, its type, consistence, color, sensitivity, and scar microcirculation according to biomicroscopy. The proposed novel method for treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars with verapamil-containing cream allowed to obtain a sustained clinical result demonstrating a reducing area of the scar by 25%, a physiological scar formation, improving the consistence and scar colour changing to the normal skin colour, its softening and flattening, and pain disappearance. Due to the dermal application, the method was painless, safety and did not affect on the surrounding tissues. According to biomicroscopy a scar remodeling approximated the indices to the level of healthy skin in 93% of rats. The most significant clinical effect the cream with verapamil was observed in experimental animals in 60 days after treatment.Приводятся данные по оценке эффективности оригинального антирубцового крема на основе верапамила для лечения гипертрофических и келоидных рубцов в эксперименте. Кожные рубцы крысам моделировали путем иссечения полнослойного лоскута кожи площадью 5 u4 см2 в центре спины. После заживления раны и формирования рубца в течение 2 мес. проводилось ежедневное двукратное втирание в область рубцевания крема, содержащего в качестве базового компонента верапамил. Контроль эффективности лечения проводили через 10, 30 и 60 сут. Изучены следующие показатели: площадь рубца, его тип, консистенция, цвет, чувствительность, по данным биомикроскопии — микроциркуляция рубца. Предложенный новый метод лечения гипертрофических и келоидных рубцов с использованием оригинального верапамилсодержащего крема позволил в эксперименте получить стойкий клинический результат, заключающийся в уменьшении площади рубца на 25%, формировании физиологического рубца, улучшении консистенции и изменении цвета рубца до характерного для окружающей кожи, его размягчении и уплощении, исчезновении болевых ощущений. За счет накожного нанесения способ являлся безболезненным, безопасным и не оказывал влияния на окружающие ткани. По данным биомикроскопии, ремоделирование патологического рубца приближало показатели к уровню здоровой кожи у 93% крыс. Наиболее значимый в динамике болезни клинический эффект применения оригинального антирубцового крема на основе верапамила наблюдался у экспериментальных животных через 60 дней после лечения

Electrochemical Determination of Some Triphenylmethane Dyes by Means of Voltammetry

AbstractThis paper provides the investigation of electrochemical properties of triphenylmethane dyes using a voltammetric method with constant-current potential sweep. Malachite green (MG) and basic fuchsin (BF) have been chosen as representatives of the triphenylmethane dyes. The electrochemical behavior of MG and BF on the surface of a mercury-film electrode depending on рН, the nature of background electrolyte and scan rate of potential sweep have been investigated. The conditions of registration have been determined for MG and BF detecting in the solution. It is demonstrated that the reduction peak currents of MG and BF increase linearly with their concentration in the range of 9.0·10-5- 7.0·10-3 mol/dm3 for MG, 6.0·10-5 – 8.0 10-3 mol/dm3 for BF with correlation coefficients of 0.9987 and 0.9961, respectively. The detection limit of MG is 5.0·10-5 mol/dm3 and for BF - 2.0·10-5 mol/dm3

Volumes of polytopes in spaces of constant curvature

We overview the volume calculations for polyhedra in Euclidean, spherical and hyperbolic spaces. We prove the Sforza formula for the volume of an arbitrary tetrahedron in $H^3$ and $S^3$. We also present some results, which provide a solution for Seidel problem on the volume of non-Euclidean tetrahedron. Finally, we consider a convex hyperbolic quadrilateral inscribed in a circle, horocycle or one branch of equidistant curve. This is a natural hyperbolic analog of the cyclic quadrilateral in the Euclidean plane. We find a few versions of the Brahmagupta formula for the area of such quadrilateral. We also present a formula for the area of a hyperbolic trapezoid.Comment: 22 pages, 9 figures, 58 reference
