A new species of the genus Tetraopes Schoenherr, T. huetheri Skillman, is described from South Dakota, USA. A modification to the existing key is provided. The new species is illustrated. The probable host plant is identified and illustrated

Crossidius wappesi Skillman, new species (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is described from Presidio County, Texas, USA.
I discovered a new species of Crossidius LeConte (Cerambycinae) in the fall of 2018 while collecting with Jim Wappes in Presidio County, Texas. Additional specimens were collected at the same location in 2019 by Jim Wappes and Kenneth Kuckartz.
This large, predominately western trachyderine genus presently contains 17 species and 37 subspecies (Bezark 2022). It should be noted that in the study of the genus by Linsley and Chemsak (1961), numerous popuÂlations, known from short series, were mentioned, given short descriptions and left nameless. It is possible that a study utilizing DNA could result in a better understanding of the genus

The tribal allocation of Xalitla Lane, 1959 (Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) is discussed. Xalitla limoni Santos-Silva and Skillman, new species, is described from Mexico (Jalisco). Xalitla lezamai Galileo and MarÂtins, 2008 is determined to be synonymous with X. genuina Martins, 1970 and formally placed in synonymy. A key to the species of Xalitla, which includes the new species and synonymy, is provided

A new genus, Cicatrisphaerion Lingafelter, Morris, Skillman, and Santos-Silva (Coleoptera: CerÂambycidae), and three new species of the same authorship, C. wappesi from Quintana Roo, Mexico, C. rileyi from Chiapas, Mexico, and Eupogonius wappesi from Quintana Roo, Mexico, are described. New records and clarification on the distribution of Psyrassaforma janzeni Chemsak, 1991 and P. nitida Chemsak, 1991 are provided. Ameriphoderes amoena (Chemsak and Linsley, 1979) is redescribed based on four male specimens and a new country record from Guatemala is documented. New distributional records are provided for Estola flavobasalis Breuning, 1940 (including a new country record for Bolivia) and Estola vittulata Bates, 1874. A redescription and new distributional record are provided for Eupogonius flavovittatus Breuning, 1940 based on a female specimen.
Examination of material mostly from the American Coleoptera Museum of the late James E. Wappes (ACMT) has revealed a new genus, three new species, new distributional records, and morphological variation leading to redescriptions of several Neotropical species. We dedicate two new species to Jim Wappes in recognition of his generosity in sharing his collection with other researchers
