The tribal allocation of Xalitla Lane, 1959 (Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) is discussed. Xalitla limoni Santos-Silva and Skillman, new species,is described from Mexico (Jalisco). Xalitla lezamai Galileo and Martins,2008 is determined to be synonymous with X. genuina Martins,1970 and formally placed in synonymy.
