Sosialisasi Gender Oleh Orangtua Dan Prasangka Gender Pada Remaja

Low bulb supply of bawang sabrang be trouble in propagation. For that purpuse bulbs divisionaimed to decreasing bulb needed and the right comparing of planting media can increase growthand yield of bawang sabrang. This research was conducted in experimental field at Jl. Pembangunanin April- July 2013, used randomized block design with two factor etc bulb division (no division, 2part division, 4 part division) and comparing planting media (topsoil, topsoil+compost 1:1, 2:1,3:1). Parameter observed was germination time, plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs persample, fresh bulb weight per sample and fresh bulb weight per plot. The result of this researhshowed that bulb division significantly decreased germination time, plant height, number of bulbsper sample, fresh bulb weight per sample and fresh bulb weight per plot.Comparing of plantingmedia significantly effect number of leaves, number of bulbs per sample, fresh bulb weight persample and fresh bulb weight per plot. Interaction between bulb division and comparing plantingmedia significantly number of leaves, number of bulbs per sample, fresh bulb weight per sampleand fresh bulb weight per plot. The best result showed in no division and comparing planting media1:1 and 2:1

Long-term exercise induces cardiac remodelling known as exercise-induced ventricle hypertrophy and accompanied by electrical remodelling that can be recorded by ECG. This study aimed at recognizing electrocardiographic changes in rats undergoing long-term high-intensity interval exercise followed by a period of detraining. This study conducted at the Laboratory of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, FMUI from November 2014-January 2015. Four groups of young adults male wistar rats (100-200gBW) were randomly selected. Group 1 and 2 were assigned as control group for ECG recording on week (4 and 8) and (12 and 16) respectively. Group 3 was given 4 weeks of intensive training, followed by 4 weeks of detraining, while group 4 was given 12 weeks of intensive training followed by 4 weeks of detraining. ECG examination was performed at the end of each period of training or detraining and compared to control group of the same period of age. P wave in the exercising group was significantly increased (p<0.05), PR interval was decreased in group 4 after detraining (p<0.05). QRS amplitude was increased although not significantly different compared to control group. However, a significant persistent prolonged QTc interval was observed in the exercising group (62.76+4.03 ms and 64.24+3.78 ms) compared to control group (48.88+2.15 ms and 47.33+3.43 ms). Detraining did not restore QTc interval (57.81+1.96 ms and 61.16+5.02 ms) vs (48.93+2.40 ms and 48.13+1.66 ms). In conclusion, cardiac remodelling after long-term high intensity interval training causes ventricular hypertrophy with persistent repolarization disturbances after a period of detraining, indicated by an increase in QRS amplitude and a significant prolonged QTc interval

From earthquakes to island area: multi-scale effects upon local diversity

Tropical forests occupy small coral atolls to the vast Amazon basin. They occur across bioregions with different geological and climatic history. Differences in area and bioregional history shape species immigration, extinction and diversification. How this effects local diversity is unclear. The Indonesian archipelago hosts thousands of tree species whose coexistence should depend upon these factors. Using a novel dataset of 215 Indonesian forest plots, across fifteen islands ranging in area from 120 to 785 000 km2, we apply Gaussian mixed effects models to examine the simultaneous effects of environment, earthquake proximity, island area and bioregion upon tree diversity for trees ≥ 10 cm diameter at breast height. We find that tree diversity declines with precipitation seasonality and increases with island area. Accounting for the effects of environment and island area we show that the westernmost bioregion Sunda has greater local diversity than Wallacea, which in turn has greater local diversity than easternmost Sahul. However, when the model includes geological activity (here proximity to major earthquakes), bioregion differences are reduced. Overall, results indicate that multi-scale, current and historic effects dictate tree diversity. These multi-scale drivers should not be ignored when studying biodiversity gradients and their impacts upon ecosystem function
