    The Effect of Leadership Styles and the Mediating Role of the Quality of Work-Life on Employee Job Performance in Vietnamese Enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City

    Employees’ satisfaction at work plays an essential role in enterprises performing effectively and sustainably developing. Encouraging and creating a professional work environment for employees to have favorable working conditions are necessary for helping them prove their abilities. Therefore, this paper analyses the leadership styles (LS) and the mediating role of quality of work-life (QWL) towards employee job performance (EJP). The researcher collected 401 samples in Ho Chi Minh City to analyze and verify the research model. From the findings, it is evident that there is a significant relationship between the LS and the mediating role of QWL towards EJP. Based on the results of the empirical study, the researcher recommends that administrators and scholars refer to and study this result in planning the managerial policies in human resources to help employees feel satisfied with their jobs

    In the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0), the role of higher education (HE) stays crucial for the development of highly skilled human resources in the multi-service sector. Indeed, the pharmaceutical education quality in higher education is significant for building a quality workforce in the healthcare service sectors. Additionally, the increasingly global education market required the ongoing increase of quality in higher education. This study investigates the driving factors of student satisfaction in Pharmacy education at private universities in Vietnam. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches are used in this study. For quantitative research, the surveyed questionnaire is developed and is the primary instrument. Besides, focus groups, semi-structured in-depth interviews with experts, and meta-analysis are applied instruments for qualitative research. The sample is 265 students from 3 private universities. The driving factors of student satisfaction are (1) Educational program, (2) University Reputation, (3) Business Interaction, (4) Extracurricular activities, and (5) Teaching facilitators activities. Eventually, the authors propose the suggestions for both academic and practical perspectives; simultaneously, the limitation is discussed for further research.En la Revolución Industrial 4.0 (IR 4.0), el papel de la educación superior (ES) sigue siendo crucial para el desarrollo de recursos humanos altamente calificados en el sector multiservicio. De hecho, la calidad de la educación farmacéutica en la educación superior es importante para construir una fuerza laboral de calidad en los sectores de servicios de salud. Además, el mercado de la educación cada vez más global requiere el aumento continuo de la calidad en la educación superior. Este estudio investiga los factores impulsores de la satisfacción de los estudiantes en la educación de farmacia en universidades privadas en Vietnam. En este estudio se utilizan enfoques tanto cualitativos como cuantitativos. Para la investigación cuantitativa, el cuestionario encuestado se desarrolla y es el instrumento principal. Además, los grupos focales, las entrevistas en profundidad semiestructuradas con expertos y el metanálisis son instrumentos aplicados para la investigación cualitativa. La muestra es de 265 estudiantes de 3 universidades privadas. Los factores que impulsan la satisfacción de los estudiantes son (1) Programa educativo, (2) Reputación universitaria, (3) Interacción empresarial, (4) Actividades extracurriculares y (5) Actividades de facilitadores docentes. Finalmente, los autores proponen las sugerencias tanto para perspectivas académicas como prácticas; simultáneamente, la limitación se discute para futuras investigaciones.Na Revolução Industrial 4.0 (RI 4.0), o papel do ensino superior (ES) permanece crucial para o desenvolvimento de recursos humanos altamente qualificados no setor de multisserviços. Tanto a abordagem qualitativa quanto a quantitativa são utilizadas neste estudo. Para pesquisas quantitativas, o questionário pesquisado é desenvolvido e é o principal instrumento. Além disso, grupos focais, entrevistas semiestruturadas em profundidade com especialistas e meta-análises são instrumentos aplicados para a pesquisa qualitativa.     Cultivating emerging leadership competencies for individual and organizational success

    Purpose: Leadership is a critical factor for individual and organizational success in today's complex and dynamic business environments. Effective leaders possess a wide range of competencies that enable them to inspire, guide, and influence others to achieve common goals. This study examines the concept of leadership competencies and their roles in fostering individual and organizational success. Research methodology: This methodological approach is based on a review of published literature outlining the significance of the leadership competency concept and the four key emerging leadership competencies for organizational performance. Results: The findings indicate the importance of the competency paradigm, which contributes to the quality of leadership. Specifically, key emerging competencies will provide valuable insights for leaders, human resource professionals, and researchers in the field of leadership development. Limitations: The research review method is based on secondary data; hence, it has its limitations. Owing to the evolving dynamic contextual leadership landscape, some crucial leadership competencies may emerge over time in some geographical organizational contexts. This necessitates a continual study and analysis of the evolving trends in emerging leadership competencies in organizations. Contribution: This study contributes to enhancing insights and knowledge of leadership development. Other concepts discussed include the competency definitions, competency model, skill-based model, and integrative competency framework. Novelty: The research and discussion on the proposed integrative emerging leadership competencies add to the merit of this paper.     Determinants of Student Loyalty From Service Quality Through Their Satisfaction in Bphram Education – a Proposed Model

    Educational service is recognized as an emerging term in academic sectors. In global perspective, higher education is affirmed as a business and students, or parents and other related bodies are customers of universities. For their sustainable development, they insist on development and enhancement of their service quality by improving student satisfaction. Significantly, research of factors affecting student loyalty from service quality with the intermediating role of customer satisfaction of Bpharm education institutions Vietnam is really limited. Hence, this study is to propose a theoretical model on that matter for private universities located in Ho Chi Minh city in special and in Vietnam in general. To achieve that objective, the study uses mainly qualitative approach with the techniques of the systematic review, the meta-analysis, and the expert consultation with the data from different sources including Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), EBSCO, Cengage and Springer, etc. From which, 145 publications have been found eligible for this study. Also, the study contributes to the knowledge of educational quality management and requires empirical studies to confirm whether the proposed framework exists or is adjusted for practical implementation
