    . Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap perilaku inovatif, kepuasan kerja, dan motivasi kerja. Selain itu, juga untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi, perilaku inovatif, kepuasan kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja kepala SMK di Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei yang bersifat exploratori. Jumlah responden sebanyak 102 orang yang diambil dengan sampling random proporsional. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket, sedang analisis data lewat teknik statistik jalur dan sebelumnya ada uji normalitas data dengan OneSample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, uji linieritas dan keberartian regresi dengan Analisis Variansi pada taraf signifikansi α sebesar 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi secara langsung dan tidak langsung memengaruhi kinerja, sedangkan perilaku inovatif, kepuasan kerja, dan motivasi kerja hanya memberi pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja kepala SMK. Besarnya Perubahan kinerja yang secara langsung dapat ditentukan budaya organisasi, perilaku inovatif, kepuasan kerja, dan motivasi kerja secara berturut-turut adalah 10,24 %, 12,32%, 3,42%, dan 2,92

    The low level of teacher attendance, student national exam scores, and teacher performance assessment results are some indicators of low teacher performance. This article discusses the results of an explanatory survey of the phenomenon of low teacher performance aimed at knowing the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of 53 certified elementary school teachers. By using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, which was analyzed using a simple regression analysis technique, the data analysis showed that job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the performance of certified teachers. To optimize teacher performance, school leaders must be fully concerned with teacher job satisfaction which is realized through promotion satisfaction, satisfaction with the work itself, salary satisfaction, work environment satisfaction, and supervision satisfaction in improving teacher performance

    Determinant Factors of Organizational Commitment of Elementary School Teachers in North Sumatra Indonesia

    The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the knowledge of teacher professional development policy, interpersonal communication, and job satisfaction on organizational commitment of elementary school teachers in North Sumatera. This research method is a survey method exploratory nature of the number of respondents were 116 people who were taken by stratified random sampling. The results showed that the knowledge of teacher professional policy development, and interpersonal communication have a positive directly and indirectly effect on organizational commitment, while job satisfaction only giving a direct effect on organizational commitment of elementary school teachers. Based on the results of the research has found a fixed model or theoretical model that describes the structure of a causal relationship between the variables of the knowledge of teacher professional development policy, interpersonal communication, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of elementary school teachers in North Sumatera

    The purpose of the study is to find out and get a model that is most excellent academic supervision in improving teacher performance Indonesian. The study was conducted at the Junior High School (SMP) State in two cities, namely Medan and Binjai 6 Schools as much as 3 school, or 9 School Junior High School with a number of Indonesian teachers as many as 61 people. This research includes Action Research School (ARS), because research is conducted to find the influence of academic supervision of certain models on teacher performance in learning Indonesian.     The purpose of this study is to obtain a model of effective managerial supervision improves performance Head Elementary School (SD) in the city of Medan. This research includes studies for school action to take real action to improve conditions or innovations to improve the performance of school principals.     This study aimed to obtain a model of academic supervision of the most well improve the performance of teachers in effective and efficient Indonesian instructional character-based. The study was conducted in the Public and Private Junior high school (SMP) in North Sumatra Province with a period of 3 years. The first phase of the study in 2013 was conducted in two districts/cities in North Sumatra Province, namely in Deli Serdang, involving 30 teachers of Indonesian in charge of the junior eight units, and in the High Cliff City involving thirty teachers field of study Indonesian in charge of the eight units SMP. This research including action research school (ARS), because the study was conducted to find the influence of academic supervision of the teacher's performance in Indonesian instructional. So, to capture performance data used teacher assessment tool capabilities, data analysis techniques used in this study is a descriptive analysis of the study variables to describe the data. The results of the research in Deli Serdang found that the application of the first cycle of academic supervision artistic model no teacher performance scores in good category, and the second cycle as much as 86.67% of teachers have performance scores in good category, while the remaining 13.33 % of teachers have the performance scores in the category quite well. Thus, the application of academic supervision artistic model can be used to improve the performance of teachers of Indonesian in junior high school in Deli Serdang. The results of the study at Tebing Tinggi found that the application of the first cycle of academic supervision of clinical models that have no teacher performance scores in good category, and the second cycle as much as 83.33% of teachers have performance scores in good category, while the remaining 16.67 teachers have the performance scores in the category quite well. Thus, the application of academic supervision of clinical models can be used to improve the performance of teachers of Indonesian in junior high school in the city of Tebing Tinggi

    The embodiment of a professional teacher is shown through high performance. Performance is influenced by various factors, one of which is job satisfaction. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and the performance of elementary school teachers, and the tendency of job satisfaction to teachers’ performance of elementary school in Paranginan, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This study is a correlational study with a population of 91 elementary school teachers and a sample of 76 people. The results of the study found that there was a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and performance of elementary school teachers in Paranginan, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The magnitude of the correlation value is 0.097 > 0.05, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. The tendency of teacher job satisfaction has a level of job satisfaction in the satisfied category and the tendency of teacher performance is good as many as 62%. As a recommendation, to ensure good performance from a teacher, school leaders must pay attention to teacher job satisfaction which is realized through promotion satisfaction, satisfaction with the work itself, salary satisfaction, co-worker satisfaction, and supervision satisfaction in improving teacher performance.     Academic Supervision Model In Improving Teacher Performance

    This study describes the principal's supervision model in improving teacher performance, the stages of principal's supervision in improving teacher performance, and the obstacles faced in the implementation of principal's supervision in improving teacher performance. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a pedagogical approach, a psychological approach, a sociological approach and a managerial approach. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen. Data sources are primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were interview guides, observation sheets and documentation. The data is processed by editing, coding, and tabulating. The data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested through technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that the supervision models used were conventional models, artistic models, scientific models and clinical models. The stages of supervision are the planning stage including socialization, explaining the supervision indicators, and making a schedule, the implementation stage includes pre-observation, observation and post-observation activities, and the last is the follow-up stage. Obstacles to the implementation of supervision are the broad managerial scope of the principal, teachers are less prepared for learning, the subjectivity of supervisory teachers is still high, there are frequent replacements of principals, limited facilities and infrastructure, and lack of teacher discipline
