Time-scale invariance of relaxation processes of density fluctuation in slow neutron scattering in liquid cesium
The realization of idea of time-scale invariance for relaxation processes in
liquids has been performed by the memory functions formalism. The best
agreement with experimental data for the dynamic structure factor
of liquid cesium near melting point in the range of wave vectors (0.4
\ang^{-1} \leq k \leq 2.55 \ang^{-1}) is found with the assumption of
concurrence of relaxation scales for memory functions of third and fourth
orders. Spatial dispersion of the four first points in spectrum of statistical
parameter of non-Markovity at has allowed
to reveal the non-Markov nature of collective excitations in liquid cesium,
connected with long-range memory effect.Comment: REVTEX +3 ps figure
Statistically Stable Estimates of Variance in Radioastronomical Observations as Tools for RFI Mitigation
A selection of statistically stable (robust) algorithms for data variance
calculating has been made. Their properties have been analyzed via computer
simulation. These algorithms would be useful if adopted in radio astronomy
observations in the presence of strong sporadic radio frequency interference
(RFI). Several observational results have been presented here to demonstrate
the effectiveness of these algorithms in RFI mitigation
Time-scale invariance of relaxation processes of density fluctuation in slow neutron scattering in liquid cesium
The idea of invariance is considered for an explanation of a specific nature of high-frequency collective excitations in liquid cesium. In particular, the idea of time-scale invariance of relaxation processes in liquids is suggested. This invariance can be easily taken into account by the memory functions formalism
Dynamic Structure Factor in Liquid Cesium on the Basis of Time-Scale Invariance of Relaxation Processes
The dynamic structure factor S(k, ω) in liquid cesium near the melting point at T = 308 K is studied by means of Zwanzig-Mori's memory function formalism. The spectra of S(k, ω) are calculated on the basis of the idea of time-scale invariance of relaxation processes in liquid metals, which appear on the fourth relaxation level. The spectra of S(k, ω) obtained are compared with the results of an inelastic neutron scattering measurement. For the description of memory effects we use the statistical presentation of the non-Markovity parameter ε1(k, ω). We find that collective excitations at low wave-vector values have a non-Markovian nature. © 2002 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica"
20 years of higher nursing education in the Middle Urals
The article discusses the possibilities of higher nursing education in the Middle Urals, which took place, is developing, has its own peculiarities: it focuses on applicants with secondary medical education, in the framework of the activity-competency education model provides practice-oriented training, provides professional and career growth for graduates. The problem of the present stage of the development of higher school education is the need to form a targeted set of applicants, train teachers of vocational education, and activate nursing research. Nursing is both science and practice, it is an independent discipline and profession, the importance of which for patients and their environment cannot be overestimated.
Diffusion Time-Scale Invariance, Markovization Processes and Memory Effects in Lennard-Jones Liquids
We report the results of calculation of diffusion coefficients for
Lennard-Jones liquids, based on the idea of time-scale invariance of relaxation
processes in liquids. The results were compared with the molecular dynamics
data for Lennard-Jones system and a good agreement of our theory with these
data over a wide range of densities and temperatures was obtained. By
calculations of the non-Markovity parameter we have estimated numerically
statistical memory effects of diffusion in detail.Comment: 10 pages, 3 figure

The 35-day cycle in the X-ray binary HZ Her/Her X-1
We present the results of modelling the 35-day superorbital changes in the B and V lightcurves and X-ray flux of HZ Her/Her X-1. The model is implemented in a computer program written in the C programming language, with a module for parameter optimisation written in Python. The model in-cludes a tilted precessing and warped accretion disc around a freely precessing neutron star. The disc is warped near its inner edge due to interaction with the rotating neutron star magnetosphere. The magnetic torque depends on the precessional phase of the neutron star. The neutron star X-ray emission flux also depends on the free precession phase, which modulates the X-ray illumi-nation of the optical star's atmosphere and the intensity of gas streams. We demonstrate that this model is able to reproduce both the optical observations of HZ Her and the behaviour of the system's 35-day X-ray cycle. © 2020 Astronomical Institute, Slovak Academy of Sciences
The Dipole Magnet Design for the ALICE DiMuon Arm Spectrometer
An essential part of the DiMuon Arm Spectrometer of the ALICE experiment is a conventional Dipole Magnet of about 890 tons which provides the bending power to measure the momenta of muons. The JINR engineering design of the Dipole Magnet, technical characteristics and description of the proposed manufacturing procedure are presented. The proposed Coil fabrication technique is based on winding of flat pancakes, which are subsequently bent on cylindrical mandrels. The pancakes are then stacked and cured with prepreg insulation. The method is demonstrated on hand of the prototype II, which consists of a pancake made with full-size aluminium conductor. Some details of electromagnetic and mechanical calculations are described. The results of measuring of mechanical and electrical characteristics of materials related to the coil composite structure are discussed
