The relevance of the scientific problem and the scientific novelty are due to the social demand of society for studying problems related to the subjective well-being of people with disabilities. The focus of our attention is the psychological well-being of dyads in close relationships (romantic or marital). The aim of the study is to analyze the psychological well-being in a dyad of partners who are in close relationships. The article analyzes the characteristics inherent in close relations of couples in which one of the partners has a disability. Using the Scale of Adaptation and Cohesion (FACES-3)), the levels of adaptation and cohesion of the dyads were revealed. Methods Quality of life Enjoyment and Satisfaction Questionnaire examines quality of life and subjective well-being, assesses the degree of subjective satisfaction with emotional and social spheres, health, activity in free time. Particularly analyzed data of a semi-structured interview. Empirically revealed differences in the understanding of their own close relationships depending on the health status of the partner. Dyads, including partners with disabilities, demonstrate a high level of satisfaction, average cohesion values, partial balance. The study is complex, and now there is a clear prospect for its continuation.

Тhe article is devoted to the study of the image of the parent family of adults with mental disabilities, as this problem is little studied in modern psychology. Sample: 39 people with mental disorders aged 18 to 47 years. Research method: clinical semi-structured interview and projective methods. The results indicate that the majority of adults with mental disorders were brought up in families: 44% - in a full family, 12% - only with the mother, 3% - in the families of grandparents. Many of them continue to live with their parents and now. Communication in the family is often evaluated positively, memories are associated with parents or other family members. The respondents of this group experienced the death of loved ones. 41% of adults with mental disorders were sent by parents to special boarding schools, while half of them never saw their parents and did not communicate with them, and 14% were familiar with their parents, but had a negative experience with them. They noted generally positive plots, but they extremely seldom were connected with a family. At the same time, negative memories are often associated with the family. Respondents of both groups distinguish not only the positive characteristics of parents, but also note the importance of joint activities. The obtained data can be successfully used as a basis for further study of the relationship of the image of the parent family with the subjective well - being of adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as the development of the main targets of the psychotherapeutic process

    Get PDF
The desire to realize oneself is characteristic of people, regardless of the state of health. The scientific problem is based on the need to study the conditions, resources and psychological consequences that ensure self-realization of persons with atypical development in comparison with typically developing people. The aim of the study. To analyze the specifics of self-realization of people with typical and atypical development, its resources and consequences.Methods. The sample included 93 people with normative and impaired development (impaired vision, hearing, musculoskeletal system, somatic diseases). Questionnaire methods were used: the test of judgments of self-realization of the personality by S.I. Kudinov; hardiness test of S. Maddi, D.A. Leontiev and E.I. Rasskazova; scale of subjective happiness by S. Lubomirsky and H. Lepper (adapted by D.A. Leontiev and E.N. Osin); scale of subjective well-being A. Perrudet-Badoux (adapted by M.V. Sokolova); self-compassion scale by K. Neff (adapted by K.A. Chistopolskaya et al.); scale of subjective vitality R.M. Ryan and S. Frederick (adapted by L.A. Alexandrova); coping strategies evaluation questionnaire COPE by C. Carver et al. (adapted by T.O. Gordeeva et al.); as well as an author’s interview.Results. Characteristics of self-realization of persons with typical and atypical development do not have significant differences. Subjects with developmental disorders are more likely to be pessimistic in the context of self-realization. The most successful areas of self-realization for people with atypical development are personal growth and family relationships. In areas related to contacts with the external environment (study, leisure, interpersonal interaction), people with typical development are more realized. The specifics in the aspects of self-realization, components of resilience, subjective well-being, sympathetic attitude towards oneself and preferred coping strategies are revealed.Conclusion. There is specificity in the aspects of self-realization, its resources and consequences in people with typical and atypical development

Modalization of Speech Actions as the Basis of the Metaphoric Transfer (on the Example of German Economic Discourse)

The question of the nature of speech modalization has been repeatedly considered in linguistics from various positions, which is partially reflected in the text of the article. The authors of the publication propose to look at the points of intersection of the process of metaphorization of statements within the framework of one type of discourse with the expression of the author's attitude to and/or assessment of its content. To substantiate the validity of this approach, the authors refer to the methodology of logical analysis of language, the theory of intersubjectivity and the theory of evaluativity, linking cognitive methods of analyzing the process of metaphorization with a broad understanding of the category of modality. This formulation of the problem fits into the modern scientific paradigm of interdisciplinarity and the actualization of interdisciplinary relations, which reflects the relevance of the proposed text. The scientific novelty of the topic is an attempt to determine the correlation of the category of modality in its axiological and ideological aspects with metaphorization as a means of actualizing evaluativity in economic discourse. Commonly, denoting phenomena, processes or results is not limited to their nomination, but the producer of the utterance gives them a modal assessment. The empirical material containing fragments of texts of the German-language mass media on economic topics reflects the validity of the proposed interpretation of the issue, shows the potential relationship of phenomena in the intersection of various connotative meanings of a cognitive metaphor, potentially serving to express the attitude to the proposition of an utterance at the level of intersubjective assessments that create a modal frame of the text. The given examples clearly demonstrate that cognitive metaphors in various forms of their implementation could serve to express ideological modality from the standpoint of intersubjectivity, since the producer of the text relies on the reflection of a fragment of reality in the communicative and cognitive activity of subjects of the national-cultural community of people. The article recognizes a certain ambiguity of the proposed interpretation of the category of modality, which is considered in the traditional grammar as an expression of possibility, ought and desirability, or as a confidence, doubt and assertion that the action is carried out at different time levels using phrases with modal verbs, modal words or adverbs, particles, etc. Thus, the article can be considered as an indirect invitation to a discussion on the issue

Subjects and methods. Thirty patients, including 9 (30.0%) men and 21 (70.0%) women, with signs of radiculopathy (RP) in late-stages Lyme borreliosis (LB) were examined. A control group comprised 30 patients with vertebrogenic RP in the presence of dystrophic changes in the vertebral column. Results. 56.7% of the patients with LB were observed to have its primary chronic course in the absence of the acute period of LB. The latter with the signs of RP showed a topic association between the pain location and the tick bite site in 43.3% of the patients. A gradual disease development was more frequently (63.3%) observed in LB while the periods of remission and exacerbation were more typical (56.7%) in vertebrogenic RP. In the patients with LB, pain syndrome depended on posture and physical exercise less frequently (30.0%) than in those with vertebrogenic RP (96.7%). Bilateral pain irradiation was more characteristic of RP in LB than in dystrophic lesions of the vertebral column. The symptoms of tonic muscle tension and limited movement volume in the afflicted part of the vertebral column were significantly less common in the patients with LB than in those with vertebrogenic RP. LB was marked by a concomitance of radicular and polyneuritic disorders (83.3%) and vertebrogenic RP was characterized by a preponderance of the radicular-type of sensitivity disorder (100%). Systemic inflammatory syndrome and polysystemacy of manifestations were more characteristic of LB. The benefits of nonsteriodal antiinflammatory drugs in LB patients with RP were significantly worse than in those with vertebrogenic RP; regression of symptoms in LB was seen only after a course of specific antibiotic therapy
