Cellulitis Due to Salmonella infantis.
Bacteria of the genus Salmonella are highly adapted for the growth in both humans and animals and cause a wide spectrum of disease. The growth of Serotypes S. typhi and S. paratyphi is restricted to human hosts, in whom these organisms cause enteric (typhoid) fever. The remaining Serotypes (non typhoidal Salmonella or NTS) can colonize the gastrointestinal tracts of the broad range of animals, including mammals, reptiles, birds and insects. The usual clinical presentation of non-typhoidal salmonellae (NTS) infection is self limited gastroenteritis; however bacteremia and focal extra intestinal infection may occur. However salmonella localization to the skin presenting as cutaneous ulceration is regarded as a rare event. Rates of morbidity and mortality associated with NTS are highest among the elderly, infants, and immunocompromised individuals, including those with hemoglobinopathies, HIV infection, or infections that cause blockade of the reticuloendothelial system. We isolated S.infantis in 50 years old man with left leg cellulitis. The serotype was confirmed at Central Research Institute, Kasauli
A CLINICAL STUDY TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY OF TRITIYA ALAMBUSHADI CHURNA IN MANAGEMENT OF AMAVATA
Amavata is a chronic disease. Due to tremendous pain in Amavata, patients daily life get disturbed. Also the morbidity of disease disturbs routine work of the patient. The sign and symptoms of Amavata is nearer to resemble with Rheumatoid arthritis in modern science, R.A is more than just arthritis. The prevalence of R.A. is approximately 0.8% of the population (range 0.3 to 2.1%), woman are affected three times more often than man. Family studies indicate a genetic predisposition. Now a days, due to changed life style and improper dietary habits like pattern of spicy food, irregular timing of meals, over eating etc. causes Agnimandya and it leads to production of Ama. All these faulty eating habits are almost always accompanied with faulty vihara like improper or over exercise, late night parties, suppression of natural urges, excessive traveling etc. these are causes of vitiation of Vata. This vitiated Vata carries Ama to the all over the body especially the Kapha sthanas and produces symptoms like Sandhi shotha, Sandhi shula, Stabdhata1 (stiffness) and other systemic sign and symptoms. This dreadful disease is called as Amavata.Tritiya Alambushadi Churn provided highly significant relief in pain (73.41%). joint score (59.26%), tenderness (73.91%), stiffness (76.22%), swelling of joints (78.53%), local temperature (77.61%) and improvement in grip strength (73.61%),functional activity (79.66%). i.e. overall total improvement is 73.63%. On the basis of these observations, administration of Tritiya Alambushadi Churna is effective for the management of Amavata
Virtual and Real World in Mobile Reality
Technology in education has impacted many ways in student's life to learn enthusiastically by giving better and more than expected results. Some research stated that technology will create a passive process if it doesn't promote critical thinking. To support the statement Augmented Reality (AR) has shown the best potential to make learning more interactive and easy. It's because of the feature of AR that lets us interact with things in virtual and real-time. Therefore this paper represents the idea of using AR in education

Parking Hippo
In this study, we have designed a Smart Car Parking System which makes it easy for the user to book a parking space. Due to the rapid increase in vehicle density especially during the peak hours of the day, it is difficult for the users to find a parking space to park their vehicles. This study mainly focuses on reducing the time in finding the parking slots and it avoids the unnecessary travelling. Thus, the waiting time of the user is minimized
Ontology Based Approach for Services Information Discovery using Hybrid Self Adaptive Semantic Focused Crawler
Focused crawling is aimed at specifically searching out pages that are relevant to a predefined set of topics. Since ontology is an all around framed information representation, ontology based focused crawling methodologies have come into exploration. Crawling is one of the essential systems for building information stockpiles. The reason for semantic focused crawler is naturally finding, commenting and ordering the administration data with the Semantic Web advances. Here, a framework of a hybrid self-adaptive semantic focused crawler – HSASF crawler, with the inspiration driving viably discovering, and sorting out administration organization information over the Internet, by considering the three essential issues has been displayed. A semi-supervised system has been planned with the inspiration driving subsequently selecting the ideal limit values for each idea, while considering the optimal performance without considering the constraint of the preparation of data set.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF NANOSTRUCTURED LIPID CARRIER CONTAINING TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE
Objective: The aim of present study was to prepare nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) based Triamcinolone acetonide (TA).
Methods: Nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) consisted of solid lipid and liquid lipid are a new type of lipid nanoparticles, prepared by using solvent diffusion and high pressure homogenization methods, which offer the advantage of improved drug loading capacity and release properties. Glyceryl monostearate selected as the solid lipid, capmul MCM C8 as the liquid lipid, polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) as the surfactant. NLCs dispersion was characterized by particle size analysis, zeta potential, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry, and an in vitro release study.
Results: Optimized NLCs loaded with TA were exhibited spherical shape with particle size 286.1 nm, polydispersity index 0.317, zeta potential-21.9 mV and entrapment efficiency 86.19% respectively. The result of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) showed that drug was dispersed in NLCs in a crystalline state. In vitro release studies revealed that drug release of optimized batch was 8.34 % and 88.84% at 1h and 8h respectively. The release kinetics of the optimized NLCs best fitted the peppas-korsmeyer model. Furthermore, morphological investigations by SEM showed that optimized batch exhibit a spherical shape and a smooth surface.
Conclusion: Thus, the results indicated that successfully prepared TA-loaded NLCs and could potentially be exploited as a carrier with improved drug loading capacity and sustained drug release. The present results demonstrated that these systems could be a promising platform for inflammatory diseases, in particular for psoriasis topical therapy
Incidence and risk factors of polycystic ovary syndrome among women in reproductive age group attending a tertiary health care hospital in Western Maharashtra
Background: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder affecting women of reproductive age group. Though its incidence is markedly increasing, the awareness is still low; as a result it remains undiagnosed. Aim of this study was to find the incidence and risk factors of PCOS among women in reproductive age group, so as to encourage young women to seek timely treatment and prevent its long term complications. Methods: A study was conducted over a period of 1 year amongst 100 women attending the Gynecology OPD using a paper based questionnaire. General examination and the required laboratory tests were done to confirm the diagnosis. Results: It was found that the incidence of PCOS among the study population was 21%. Risk factors include lack of physical activity, irregular menstrual cycle, body mass index more than 25, and Waist-hip ratio above 0.86.Conclusions: It is seen that there is a need to educate women at an early stage to prevent the development of this syndrome and its early detection by them. This will facilitate the health professionals to start the treatment at a stage where the complications have not yet set in
