    A Test Case Generation Method for Workflow Systems Based on I/O_WF_Net

    At present, the testing of the workflow system is mainly based on manual testing, and the functions of only some tools are relatively simple. The design of test cases mainly depends on the experience of testers, which makes the lack of test coverage. In this paper, a test case generation method based on the I/O_WF_Net model is proposed. A test case generation algorithm that satisfies the process branch coverage criterion is designed, which solves the problem of automatic test case generation for workflow systems. The algorithm divides the model according to "split-merge pairs" to generate a decomposition tree of the model, and then traverses the tree to generate test cases. A workflow system modelling and test case generation tool are designed and implemented, and an actual workflow system is used as the experimental object to verify the effectiveness of the method

    Detection of rubidium and samarium in the atmosphere of the ultra-hot Jupiter MASCARA-4b

    Ultra-hot Jupiters (UHJs) possess the most extreme environments among various types of exoplanets, making them ideal laboratories to study the chemical composition and kinetics properties of exoplanet atmosphere with high-resolution spectroscopy (HRS). It has the advantage of resolving the tiny Doppler shift and weak signal from exoplanet atmosphere and has helped to detect dozens of heavy elements in UHJs including KELT-9b, WASP-76b, WASP-121b. MASCARA-4b is a 2.8-day UHJ with an equilibrium temperature of 2250\sim2250 K, which is expected to contain heavy elements detectable with VLT. In this letter, we present a survey of atoms/ions in the atmosphere of the MASCARA-4b, using the two VLT/ESPRESSO transits data. Cross-correlation analyses are performed on the obtained transmission spectra at each exposure with the template spectra generated by petitRADTRANS for atoms/ions from element Li to U. We confirm the previous detection of Mg, Ca, Cr and Fe and report the detection of Rb, Sm, Ti+ and Ba+ with peak signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) >> 5. We report a tentative detection of Sc+, with peak SNRs \sim6 but deviating from the estimated position. The most interesting discovery is the first-time detection of elements Rb and Sm in an exoplanet. Rb is an alkaline element like Na and K, while Sm is the first lanthanide series element and is by far the heaviest one detected in exoplanets. Detailed modeling and acquiring more data are required to yield abundance ratios of the heavy elements and to understand better the common presence of them in UHJ's atmospheres.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures, Accepted to A

    Thermal Emission from the Hot Jupiter WASP-103b in JJ and KsK_{\rm s} Bands

    Hot Jupiters, particularly those with temperature higher than 2000\,K are the best sample of planets that allow in-depth characterization of their atmospheres. We present here a thermal emission study of the ultra hot Jupiter WASP\mbox{-}103\,b observed in two secondary eclipses with CFHT/WIRCam in JJ and KsK_{\rm s} bands. By means of high precision differential photometry, we determine eclipse depths in JJ and KsK_{\rm s} to an accuracy of 220 and 270\,ppm, which are combined with the published HST/WFC3 and Spitzer data to retrieve a joint constraints on the properties of WASP-103\,b dayside atmosphere. We find that the atmosphere is best fit with a thermal inversion layer included. The equilibrium chemistry retrieval indicates an enhanced C/O (1.350.17+0.14^{+0.14}_{-0.17}) and a super metallicity with [Fe/H]=2.190.63+0.51=2.19^{+0.51}_{-0.63} composition. Given the near-solar metallicity of WASP-103 of [Fe/H]=0.06, this planet seems to be \sim100 more abundant than its host star. The free chemistry retrieval analysis yields a large abundance of FeH, H^{-}, CO2_2 and CH4_4. Additional data of better accuracy from future observations of JWST should provide better constraint of the atmospheric properties of WASP-103b

    Room Temperature Terahertz Electroabsorption Modulation by Excitons in Monolayer Transition Metal Dichalcogenides

    The interaction between off-resonant laser pulses and excitons in monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides is attracting increasing interest as a route for the valley-selective coherent control of the exciton properties. Here, we extend the classification of the known off-resonant phenomena by unveiling the impact of a strong THz field on the excitonic resonances of monolayer MoS2_2. We observe that the THz pump pulse causes a selective modification of the coherence lifetime of the excitons, while keeping their oscillator strength and peak energy unchanged. We rationalize these results theoretically by invoking a hitherto unobserved manifestation of the Franz-Keldysh effect on an exciton resonance. As the modulation depth of the optical absorption reaches values as large as 0.05 dB/nm at room temperature, our findings open the way to the use of semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides as compact and efficient platforms for high-speed electroabsorption devices.Comment: 40 pages, 11 figure

    Health-related quality of life and its association with socioeconomic status and diet diversity in Chinese older adults

    ObjectivesThe study aimed at examining the combined association of socioeconomic status (SES) and diet diversity (DD) with health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and exploring whether DD played a mediating role in the relationship between varied SES and HRQoL among Chinese older persons.MethodA multi-stage random sampling method was conducted in Shanxi Province of China, with 3,250 older adults participating in this cross-sectional survey. SES was divided into groups by quartiles and DD by means, and these variable groups were combined in pairs to generate a total of eight combinations. The PROCESS macro developed by Hayes was employed for the simple mediation analysis.ResultsCompared with the reference group (those with both high SES and high DD), older adults who were classified to have lower SES or DD had elevated odds of having worse HRQoL: low SES/ low DD (OR = 1.65, 95% CI 1.41–2.92); low SES/ high DD (OR = 1.45, 95% CI 1.17–1.80); middle low SES/ low DD (OR = 1.43, 95% CI 1.24–1.65); middle low SES/ high DD (OR = 1.23, 95% CI 1.03–1.47); upper high SES/ low DD (OR = 1.41, 95% CI 1.21–1.65); and high SES/ low DD (OR = 1.30, 95%CI 1.10–1.53). The mediation analysis revealed that DD mediated the relationship between SES and HRQoL (B=0.011, 95% CI 0.008–0.013), with its indirect effects accounting for 39.29% of the total effects.ConclusionsThese findings highlighted the role of DD as a mediator of the relationship between SES and HRQoL. As DD could be protective, modifiable, and easy for older adults to understand and implement, village clinics and community health stations should work collaboratively to design proper DD intervention measures for better HRQoL

    Establishing a process to translate and adapt health education materials for natives and immigrants: The case of Mandarin adaptations of cardiac rehabilitation education

    Background: Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a proven model of secondary prevention in which patient education is a core component. Objectives: to translate and culturally-adapt CR patient education for Mandarin-speaking patients living in China as well as immigrants, and offer recommendation for best practices in adaptation for both. Methods: these steps were undertaken in China and Canada: (1) preparation; (2) translation and adaptation; (3) review by healthcare providers based on PEMAT-P; (4) think-aloud review by patients; and (5) finalization. Results: Two independent Mandarin translations were undertaken using best practices: one domestic (China) and one international (immigrants). Input by 23 experts instigated revisions. Experts rated the language and content as culturally-appropriate, and perceived the materials would benefit their patients. A revised version was then administered to 36 patients, based on which a few edits were made to optimize understandability. Conclusions: some important differences emerged between translations adapted for native versus immigrant settings.This project has received funds from Toronto Rehab Foundation for the translation of materials (international version)

    Semantic Mapping for Model Transformation between AADL2 and HiP-HOPS

    Currently, AADL has gradually become as one of the standards for the architecture design of complex embedded system. It is widely used in aerospace, automotive electronics and other fields for the design and analysis of high dependability-critical systems. Although the Error Model annex (EMA) of AADL can well support AADL error modeling, there is still a lack of technical method for multiobjective (based on dependability and cost) architecture optimisation analysis for dependable system. In order to achieve the optimisation analysis of AADL model, an effective method is to transform the AADL model into other equivalent models. This paper introduces the preliminary work of transforming AADL2 dependability model into a mature optimisation analysis tool model - HiP-HOPS model, and analyses the semantic mapping relationship between the two different models. Model transformation can not only integrate the dependability modeling field to the analysis field, but also enables the optimisation analysis process simple and effective. This also brings good technical and engineering value under the current economic and technological situation
