Binder-free and carbon-free 3D porous air electrode for Li-O2 batteries with high efficiency, high capacity, and long life
Pt-Gd alloy polycrystalline thin film is deposited on 3D nickel foam by pulsed laser deposition method serving as a whole binder/carbon-free air electrode, showing great catalytic activity enhancement as an efficient bifunctional catalyst for the oxygen reduction and evolution reactions in lithium oxygen batteries. The porous structure can facilitate rapid O2 and electrolyte diffusion, as well as forming a continuous conductive network throughout the whole energy conversion process. It shows a favorable cycle performance in the full discharge/charge model, owing to the high catalytic activity of the Pt-Gd alloy composite and 3D porous nickel foam structure. Specially, excellent cycling performance under capacity limited mode is also demonstrated, in which the terminal discharge voltage is higher than 2.5 V and the terminal charge voltage is lower than 3.7 V after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.1 mA cmâ2. Therefore, this electrocatalyst is a promising bifunctional electrocatalyst for lithium oxygen batteries and this depositing high-efficient electrocatalyst on porous substrate with polycrystalline thin film by pulsed laser deposition is also a promising technique in the future lithium oxygen batteries research
A Case Study on Strengthening Food Security and Agribusiness Innovation by Implementing the SAAMBAT Project in Cambodia
In Cambodia, the government still faces agricultural productivity, labour competency, and climate change susceptibility problems. The government and the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) have initiated a Sustainable Asset for Agricultural Market, Business, and Trade (SAAMBAT) collaboration project. However, limited studies were observed about the project. A desk study using multiple data resources and project reports was performed to investigate the practical implementation of SAMBAAT in Cambodia. The data were available online and retrieved from the Cambodian government, ADB, IFAD, and The World Bank. The expert acquisition was also conducted by confirming the analysis and findings to professional third parties involving in the project monitoring. After the project was implemented, the local farmers started diversifying their value-added crops and operating their farming system by following Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standards. Besides, they could also adopt new innovative technologies to increase agricultural productivity, improving national food security establishment, and using digital apps to support their agribusiness sustainability, such as an e-agriculture platform developed by trained local youth. SAAMBAT is recommended to encourage the Techno Start-Up Center (TSC) to develop its organizational capability and business model to boost the digital economyâs innovation, specifically to support rural agribusiness growth. Further improvement and evaluation are required to maintain the process and enlarge the projectâs impacts
Core-shell Co/CoO integrated on 3D nitrogen doped reduced graphene oxide aerogel as an enhanced electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction
Here, we demonstrate that Cobalt/cobalt oxide core-shell nanoparticles integrated on nitrogen-doped (N-doped) three-dimensional reduced graphene oxide aerogel-based architecture (Co/CoO-NGA) were synthesized through a facile hydrothermal method followed by annealing treatment. The unique endurable porous structure could provide sufficient mass transfer channels and ample active sites on Co/CoO-NGA to facilitate the catalytic reaction. The synthesized Co/CoO-NGA was explored as an electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction, showing comparable oxygen reduction performance with excellent methanol resistance and better durability compared with Pt/C

Influence of disorder on the in-field Jc of MgB2 wires using highly active pyrene
In this work, we report on significantly enhanced critical current density (Jc) in MgB2 superconductor that was easily obtained by doping with a hydrocarbon, highly active pyrene (C16H10), and using a sintering temperature as low as âž 600â°C. The processing advantages of the C16H10 additive include production of a highly active carbon (C) source, an increased level of disorder, and the introduction of small grain size, resulting in enhancement of Jc
Peak effect in the critical current of type II superconductors with strong magnetic vortex pinning
We perform 2D Langevin simulations studying the peak effect (PE) of the critical current taking into account the temperature dependence of the competing forces. We observe and report that the PE results from the competition of vortex-vortex interactions and vortex-pin interactions which have different temperature dependencies. The simulations reveal that the PE can take place only for certain pinning strengths, densities of pinning centres, and driving forces, which is in good agreement with experiments. No apparent vortex order-disorder transition is observed across the PE regime. In addition, the PE is a dynamical phenomenon, and thermal fluctuations can speed up the process for the formation of the PE

Master of Business Administration (Hospitality and Tourism Management (International Program)), 2023Film tourism has gained significant attention in the past decade, however, there is a lack of research that addresses audience perceptions and behavioral intentions regarding an unvisited destination after watching a film or television (TV) series. This study aims to fill this gap by applying audience involvement theory to examine its influence on audiencesâ perceived destination image, place attachment, and behavioral intentions toward the depicted destination in the pre-visit stage. The Thai series TV "I Told Sunset About You" was conducted as a case study and a quantitative method was used. A self-administered questionnaire was employed as the research instrument. 564 young Chinese who had seen the TV series but had never visited Phuket, Thailand, were recruited as participants using a non-probability sampling method. Descriptive statistical analysis was utilized to summarize the participants' profiles and their level of involvement in the series TV, their perceptions of the destination's image, their attachment to the place, and their behavioral intentions toward Phuket. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the reliability and validity of the proposed theoretical model. Structural equation modeling was applied to evaluate the relationship between audience involvement, destination image, place attachment, and behavioral intentions. The results of this study indicate that the level of involvement in a TV series has a positive effect on perceptions of destination image and attachment to the featured destination. In addition, destination image has a positive effect on place attachment. Furthermore, both destination image and place attachment have a significant influence on audience behavioral intentions in the pre-visit stage. This study offers unique theoretical and managerial implications for film tourism research and destination marketing organizations (DMOs).āļāļēāļĢāļāđāļāļāđāļāļĩāđāļĒāļ§āđāļāļīāļāļ āļēāļāļĒāļāļāļĢāđāđāļāđāļāļŦāļąāļ§āļāđāļāļāļĩāđāđāļāđāļĢāļąāļāļāļ§āļēāļĄāļŠāļāđāļāļāļĒāđāļēāļāļĄāļēāļāđāļāļāļĻāļ§āļĢāļĢāļĐāļāļĩāđ āļāđāļēāļāļĄāļēāļāļĒāđāļēāļāđāļĢāļāđāļāļēāļĄāļāļēāļāļ§āļīāļāļąāļĒāđāļāļĩāđāļĒāļ§āļāļąāļāļāļēāļĢāļĢāļąāļāļĢāļđāđāļāļāļāļāļđāđāļāļĄāđāļĨāļ°āļāļ§āļēāļĄāļāļąāđāļāđāļāđāļāļīāļāļāļĪāļāļīāļāļĢāļĢāļĄāđāļāļĩāđāļĒāļ§āļāļąāļ āļāļļāļāļŦāļĄāļēāļĒāļāļĨāļēāļĒāļāļēāļāļāļēāļĢāļāđāļāļāđāļāļĩāđāļĒāļ§āļāļĩāđāļĒāļąāļāđāļĄāđāđāļāļĒāđāļāđāļĒāļ·āļāļāļŦāļĨāļąāļāļāļēāļāļāļēāļĢāļĢāļąāļāļāļĄāļ āļēāļāļĒāļāļāļĢāđāļŦāļĢāļ·āļāļāļĩāļĢāļĩāļŠāđāđāļāļĢāļāļąāļĻāļāđ
