KINETICS AND MECHANISM OF DECOMPOSITION OF LOW-QUALITY PHOSPHORITES OF THE ZHANATAS DEPOSIT
The production of extractive phosphoric acid (EPA) is one of the largest in the main chemical industry. The main part of the produced phosphoric acid is obtained by dihydrate from 24.5% of phosphorite Р2О5. Depending on the quality of the processed raw materials, an acid containing 22-32% Р2О5 can be obtained. The dihydrate method is one of the most developed in industrial practice. Its improvement is mainly associated with the introduction of new hardware solutions aimed at intensifying the process, optimizing and stabilizing the temperature regime (regime). The modern development of phosphoric acid production can undergo significant technological changes. thermal phosphoric acid as well as extraction phosphoric acid, and for this extraction the phosphoric acid goes through a two-stage purification process. Fertilizer DAP contains diammonium phosphate and monoammonium phosphate, as well as several additives containing primary phosphoric acid. Extraction phosphoric acid differs not only in Р2О5 concentration, but also in the content of impurities. The main additives to the extraction phosphoric acid are sulfuric acid, calcium, magnesium, iron, fluorine, aluminum, silicon, sodium, potassium and dimensional substances. Almost all of them affect the composition and technology of diammonium phosphate. During the ammonization process, some impurities from the extracted phosphoric acid are converted to a water-insoluble form, which affects the rheological properties of the reservoir, solubility and nutrient absorption. The main component of the extraction phosphoric acid is sulfuric acid, which, when neutralized, turns into ammonium sulfate. Ammonium sulfate is a stable azygroscopic salt that can be used as a fertilizer on its own. The presence of ammonium sulfate stabilizes the granulation process; therefore, it is recommended to add sulfuric acid from thermal phosphoric acid to the diammonium phosphate composition
Comparative effects of different supplemented dietary doses of chlorophyll on blood parameters of experimental male rats
Abstract Chlorophylls are organic pigments that are a part of our daily diet, particularly in light of the increased popularity of more eco-friendly and healthy practices. Since altering oxidative equilibrium seems to be connected to the emergence of numerous illnesses, the antioxidant capacities of both groups of lipophilic compounds have been studied. The objective was to evaluate adding dietary chlorophyll at two concentrations—30 and 60 mg/ml—would improve blood characteristics in rats. Supplemented dietary chlorophyll showed significantly increased WBCs, RBCs, granulocytes, lymphocytes, HGB, HCT MCHC, and Platelets. it nonsignificant effect on RDW, MPV, and Eosinophil. These findings support a significant rise in critical hematological parameters at two separate time intervals, 14 and 28 days following dietary chlorophyll supplementation, at dosages of 30 and 60 mg/ml. After 30 and 60 mg/ml, platelet count, PCT, lymphocytes, and monocytes substantially (p0.001) rose. In light of these findings, critical hematological indicators markedly rise in response to exogenous dietary chlorophyll. To strengthen blood parameters and enhance blood features and prevent anemia, dietary chlorophyll is advised
The effects of antiviral treatment on breast cancer cell line
Background: Recent studies have revealed the positive antiproliferative and cytotoxic effects of antiviral agents in
cancer treatment. The real effect of adjuvant antiviral therapy is still controversial due to the lack of studies in biochemical
mechanisms. Here, we studied the effect of the antiviral agent acyclovir on morphometric and migratory features of the
MCF7 breast cancer cell line. Molecular levels of various proteins have also been examined.
Methods: To evaluate and assess the effect of antiviral treatment on morphometric, migratory and other cellular
characteristics of MCF7 breast cancer cells, the following experiments were performed: (i) MTT assay to measure the
viability of MCF7 cells; (ii) Colony formation ability by soft agar assay; (iii) Morphometric characterization by
immunofluorescent analysis using confocal microscopy; (iv) wound healing and transwell membrane assays to
evaluate migration and invasion capacity of the cells; (v) ELISA colorimetric assays to assess expression levels of caspase-3,
E-cadherin and enzymatic activity of aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH).
Results: We demonstrate the suppressive effect of acyclovir on breast cancer cells. Acyclovir treatment decreases the
growth and the proliferation rate of cells and correlates with the upregulated levels of apoptosis associated cytokine
Caspase-3. Moreover, acyclovir inhibits colony formation ability and cell invasion capacity of the cancer cells while
enhancing the expression of E-cadherin protein in MCF7 cells. Breast cancer cells are characterized by high
ALDH activity and associated with upregulated proliferation and invasion. According to this study, acyclovir
downregulates ALDH activity in MCF7 cells.
Conclusions: These results are encouraging and demonstrate the possibility of partial suppression of cancer
cell proliferation using an antiviral agent. Acyclovir antiviral agents have a great potential as an adjuvant therapy in the
cancer treatment. However, more research is necessary to identify relevant biochemical mechanisms by which acyclovir
induces a potent anti-cancer effect
Conceptual design report for the LUXE experiment
This Conceptual Design Report describes LUXE (Laser Und XFEL Experiment), an experimental campaign that aims to combine the high-quality and high-energy electron beam of the European XFEL with a powerful laser to explore the uncharted terrain of quantum electrodynamics characterised by both high energy and high intensity. We will reach this hitherto inaccessible regime of quantum physics by analysing high-energy electron-photon and photon-photon interactions in the extreme environment provided by an intense laser focus. The physics background and its relevance are presented in the science case which in turn leads to, and justifies, the ensuing plan for all aspects of the experiment: Our choice of experimental parameters allows (i) field strengths to be probed where the coupling to charges becomes non-perturbative and (ii) a precision to be achieved that permits a detailed comparison of the measured data with calculations. In addition, the high photon flux predicted will enable a sensitive search for new physics beyond the Standard Model. The initial phase of the experiment will employ an existing 40 TW laser, whereas the second phase will utilise an upgraded laser power of 350 TW. All expectations regarding the performance of the experimental set-up as well as the expected physics results are based on detailed numerical simulations throughout
