Concerning Kurosaki's squarefree word
In 2008, Kurosaki gave a new construction of a (bi-)infinite squarefree word
over three letters. We show that in fact Kurosaki's word avoids 7/4+-powers,
which, as shown by Dejean, is optimal over a 3-letter alphabet
Long-Range Interaction between Charge and Spin Qubits in Quantum Dots
We analyze and give estimates for the long-distance coupling via floating
metallic gates between different types of spin qubits in quantum dots made of
different commonly used materials. In particular, we consider the hybrid, the
singlet-triplet, and the spin- qubits, and the pairwise coupling between
each type of these qubits with another hybrid qubit in GaAs, InAs, Si, and
. We show that hybrid qubits can be capacitively
coupled strongly enough to implement two-qubit gates, as long as the distance
of the dots from the metallic gates is small enough. Thus, hybrid qubits are
good candidates for scalable implementations of quantum computing in
semiconducting nanostructures
Planning Through Stochastic Local Search and Temporal Action Graphs in LPG
We present some techniques for planning in domains specified with the recent
standard language PDDL2.1, supporting 'durative actions' and numerical
quantities. These techniques are implemented in LPG, a domain-independent
planner that took part in the 3rd International Planning Competition (IPC). LPG
is an incremental, any time system producing multi-criteria quality plans. The
core of the system is based on a stochastic local search method and on a
graph-based representation called 'Temporal Action Graphs' (TA-graphs). This
paper focuses on temporal planning, introducing TA-graphs and proposing some
techniques to guide the search in LPG using this representation. The
experimental results of the 3rd IPC, as well as further results presented in
this paper, show that our techniques can be very effective. Often LPG
outperforms all other fully-automated planners of the 3rd IPC in terms of speed
to derive a solution, or quality of the solutions that can be produced
Boundary spin polarization as robust signature of topological phase transition in Majorana nanowires
We show that the boundary charge and spin can be used as alternative
signatures of the topological phase transition in topological models such as
semiconducting nanowires with strong Rashba spin-orbit interaction in the
presence of a magnetic field and in proximity to an -wave superconductor. We
identify signatures of the topological phase transition that do not rely on the
presence of Majorana zero-energy modes and, thus, can serve as independent
probes of topological properties. The boundary spin component along the
magnetic field, obtained by summing contributions from all states below the
Fermi level, has a pronounced peak at the topological phase transition point.
Generally, such signatures can be observed at boundaries between topological
and trivial sections in nanowires and are stable against disorder

MENUMBUHKAN BUDI PEKERTI SISWA MELALUI PEMANFAATAN LITERASI DIGITAL
This article aims to describe the results of a literature study on the use of digital literacy in schools which can help foster ethical attitudes in students. The method used in this research is qualitative through a literature study approach, data sources are obtained from the analysis of previous studies, journal references and conclusions are obtained through analysis of relevant research both nationally and internationally. The results of the analysis of the research conducted are 1) In cultivating an attitude of character in students in the 21st century, they can use digital literacy, because digital literacy has a role that will arouse interest, because children tend to be interested in things related to technology, such as YouTube , tiktok and other social media that can be used by teachers or educators as a development of student character 2) Learning through digital literacy will make it easier in the process of cultivating ethical attitudes in students
Perancangan Logo Branding Tropickled Asinan Buah
Homemade pickled fruit which is one of the medium-sized businesses in the field, especially food, over time many similar businesses develop which make competition tougher, the solution to create a characteristic and identity Homemade pickled fruit requires a logo or identity so that it can compete with similar businesses. The main objective of this study project is to create a corporate identity that includes a logo and placement on each merchandise, with an identity design that will be applied to various supporting media to enhance the positive image and characteristics of homemade Asinan fruit products in running their business and can be used as an example. references by businesses engaged in food.
