Il saggio si propone di tratteggiare i vari aspetti della lingua di Giosue Carducci. Nella prosa saggistica ed epistolare emerge l'ampio dominio del registro espressivo, non certo appiattito nella dimensione letteraria e tradizionalistica. Del poeta si mettono in evidenza la stabilità, con spiccata presenza della "memoria interna", ma anche il forte grado di sperimentalismo che emerge da Intermezzo di cui si offre una lettura stilistica innovativa.The essay aims to outline the various aspects of the language of Giosue Carducci. In his prose essays and in his letters he reveals a perfect control of different expressive registers, not flattened just in the literary and traditional dimension. The paper emphasizes the stability of Carducci's poetic style and the high degree of experimentalism that emerges in a poem like Intermezzo, about which an innovative stylistic interpretation is offered

Étymologie : Objets, méthodes et perpectives

L’étymologie est une des branches les plus anciennes des Sciences du Langage et elle a connu un développement exceptionnel en romanistique grâce à la bonne documentation diachronique et variationnelle des langues latine et néolatines. Le volume, issu d’un colloque zurichois sur l’Étymologie romane en l’honneur du 80e anniversaire de Max Pfister entend mettre en relief les méthodes constitutives et les buts de la recherche étymologique à l’heure actuelle et montrer la richesse de ses perspectives pour la recherche future. La discussion s’articule autour de deux axes de réflexion principaux: (i) l’identification des étymons permettant de construire des trajectoires de dépendance et de parenté, (ii) l’utilisation des trajectoires étymologiques ainsi constituées à d’autres fins linguistiques. Overview on electrical issues faced during the SPIDER experimental campaigns

SPIDER is the full-scale prototype of the ion source of the ITER Heating Neutral Beam Injector, where negative ions of Hydrogen or Deuterium are produced by a RF generated plasma and accelerated with a set of grids up to ~100 keV. The Power Supply System is composed of high voltage dc power supplies capable of handling frequent grid breakdowns, high current dc generators for the magnetic filter field and RF generators for the plasma generation. During the first 3 years of SPIDER operation different electrical issues were discovered, understood and addressed thanks to deep analyses of the experimental results supported by modelling activities. The paper gives an overview on the observed phenomena and relevant analyses to understand them, on the effectiveness of the short-term modifications provided to SPIDER to face the encountered issues and on the design principle of long-term solutions to be introduced during the currently ongoing long shutdown.Comment: 8 pages, 12 figures.
