Assessment of the situation of convergence of ships at sea on the basis of COLREG

    Get PDF
The problem of estimating the navigational situation in case of convergent ships at sea is considered. The algorithm of estimation of a situation of approach of ships according to COLREG is offered with use of the information on mutual positioning and elements of movement of ships. An algorithm for determining the mutual responsibilities of ships on the basis of information on the navigational status of ships obtained by AIS, and the situation of their convergence is proposed. The complex estimation of situation in a group of ships is offered in the form of a full connected directed graph of situations defining the degree of danger and mutual obligations according to COLREG of each of the ships in this group

Microprocessor temperature control device for a thermal object

    Get PDF
The article deals with a device for temperature control of a thermal object. The device is based on a single-chip AVR ATmega32 microcontroller. There are two modes of temperature regulation. The first is designed for temperature regulation within the range of -55 ° C to +125 ° C, and the second is from +126 ° C to +1000 ° C. The first range uses a DS18B20 digital serial output temperature sensor. The temperature measurement resolution in the first temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C is 0.0625 °C. The second range uses a K-type thermocouple and a MAX6675 thermocouple signal converter with I2C interface. The discreteness of temperature measurement in the range from +126 C to +1000 C is 2 C. The microprocessor based controller has a very wide temperature control range from -55 to +1000°C, which is well within the temperature range required by the process. In the first area, due to high accuracy digital temperature sensor DS18B20, the resolution is very good ±0.0625 °C, which enables the use of the controller in climate control systems

The problem of cooperative divergence of uncrewed vessels

    Get PDF
The article deals with the problem of preventing ship collisions while at sea. When crewless ships meet at sea, it is necessary to ensure their safe separation. A formalization of setting the problem of safe divergence of a group of ships is given. Vessel subsets in various states in a group of ships are determined, and ship transitions from one state to another are described. The problem of a lack of mutual understanding between agents controlling unaccompanied ships is considered. A counter vessel may not perform the divergence manoeuvres that the agent controlling the uncrewed vessel expects. An analysis is made of the reasons contributing to this. The problem of detection of inadequate behaviour of a counter vessel or its violation of manoeuvring arrangements is offered. The criteria for detecting such behaviour and agent's actions to prevent collision in this case are considered

New NIR-emissive tetranuclear Er(III) complexes with 4-hydroxo-2,1,3-benzothiadiazolate and dibenzoylmethanate ligands: synthesis and characterization

New tetranuclear heteroleptic complexes [Er4(dbm)6(O-btd)4(OH)2] (1) and [Er4(dbm)4(O-btd)6(OH)2] (2) (O-btd = 4-hydroxo-2,1,3-benzothiadiazolate and dbm = dibenzoylmethanide) and their solvates with toluene, THF and CH2Cl2 were prepared using two synthetic approaches. The structures of the products were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Magnetic properties of 1 and 2 are in good agreement with X-ray data. The effective magnetic moment (μeff) values at 300 K for 1 and 2 corresponds to a system of 4 non-interacting Er(III) ions in the ground state 4J15/2 with g = 6/5. At ambient temperature and upon excitation with λexc = 450 nm, complexes 1 and 2 exhibit luminescence at ∼1530 nm, i.e. in the near infra-red (NIR) region. The luminescence intensity grows with increasing the number of the (O-btd)−ligands in the complexes. This observation suggests (O-btd)− as a new efficient antenna ligand for the lanthanide-based NIR luminescence

Assessment of the safety and quality of turkey meat depending on the methods of keeping

The research was carried out on broiler-type turkeys of the BUT-9 cross in the Republic of Mari El and private subsidiary farms. In accordance with our goals and objectives, the objects of research were blood and blood serum, red and white meat obtained from broiler turkeys of industrial type of cultivation and home type of cultivation. The study of turkey meat included: organoleptic studies, tasting evaluation of meat, determination of chemical and physico-chemical composition, energy value, amino acid and fatty acid composition of meat, microbiological studies, determination of meat freshness indicators The quality and nutritional value of meat was studied (anatomical cutting of turkey carcasses, chemical and physico-chemical indicators of meat, amino acid and fatty acid composition of meat, micro content- and macronutrients) the preservation of turkey meat of different content systems at t +2 +4 °C (organoleptic, chemical, physico-chemical, microbiological indicators) and at t-12-14 °C (organoleptic, chemical, physico-chemical indicators). White and red meat of the domestic content system is less stable during storage at t+2+4 °C according to such indicators as: pH, acidity/oxidizability coefficient, LFA, amino-ammonia nitrogen, protein, microbiological parameters (KMAFAnM). The study of the storage conditions of turkey meat at t-12-14 °C ensures the safety of meat a home growing system for 72 hours, and an industrial one for 96 hours. The meat of all growing systems, both females and males, had high stability during freezing storage. Study of storage conditions at t -12-14°C ensures the preservation of meat for 6 months without reducing the freshness indicators
