Samuel Schwarzband, A. Mickiewicz and A. Pushkin. 1830-1833. The article deals with certain textual problems of Pushkin's poem "The bronze horseman." The author's objective, which is not original, reduces to finding out associations between Pushkin's poem and Mickiewicz's poetry cycle "Fragment." However, a system approach to an analysis of the available manuscripts had enabled the author to arrive at sufficiently independent conclusions: 1. Associations between Pushkin's poem and Mickiewicz's "Fragment" suggest that polemics was involved in all stages and in all parts of "The bronze horseman" throughout the process of its creations. 2. The polemic mood of Pushkin's poem is a plot-forming factor rather than a peripherial characteristic of "The bronze horseman." 3. The antagonistic nature of the artistic standpoint is due to differences in the artistic concepts and methods to a greater extent than to the political or ideological divergences.Samuel Schwarzband, A. Il se propose de découvrir des rapprochements entre ce poème et le cycle poétique de Mickiewicz intitulé "Fragment". Une démarche systématique pour analyser les manuscrits disponibles a permis à l'auteur d'arriver à des conclusions suffisamment originales : 1. les rapprochements entre le poème de Puškin et le "Fragment" de Mickiewicz font apparaître que la polémique était présente à tous les stades de la création du "Cavalier de bronze" et dans toutes les parties de l'oeuvre ; 2. le ton polémique du poème de Puškin est un facteur constitutif de l'intrigue plutôt qu'un trait périphérique du "Cavalier de bronze" ; 3. la nature antagoniste des points de vue artistiques tient aux différences de conceptions et de méthodes artistiques bien plus qu'à des divergences politiques ou idéologiques.Schwarzband Samuel. А. Блок : « Жило двенадцать разбойников » (К истории создания поэмы « Двенадцать »)*

Samuel Schwarzband, A. Blok: "Once upon a time there were twelve highwaymen". A study of Blok's autograph manuscripts of "The twelve" enabled the author of the present article to reconstruct the order in which the separate "chapters" were composed and to clarify the progress of Blok' s thought. After having completed his research on the history of the creation of "The twelve," the author drew the following conclusions: 1. Blok founded his composition on the methods used by silent movies; 2. partition into acts, author's comments, "subtitles" and the "accompaniment" allowed Blok to present his composition of distinct poems as an organized whole; 3. the distinctive feature of the poem is the presence of several lateral on-lookers: operator, commentator, pianist, character ("a man," "a passer-by," "a bourgeois").Samuel Schwarzband, A. Blok : "II était une fois douze brigands". Une étude des manuscrits autographes des "Douze" de Blok a permis à l'auteur du présent article de retracer l'ordre dans lequel ont été écrits les "chapitres" séparés et de dégager le cheminement de la pensée de Blok. En étudiant l'histoire de la création des "Douze", l'auteur en est venu aux conclusions suivantes : 1. Blok a utilisé les procédés du cinéma muet à la base de la composition ; 2. la division en actes, le commentaire d'auteur, les "sous-titres" et l' "accompagnement" ont permis à Blok de présenter la composition de poèmes séparés comme un ensemble organisé ; 3. la présence de plusieurs regards latéraux : opérateur, commentateur, pianiste, personnage ("un homme", "un passant", "un bourgeois") est un trait caractéristique du poème.Schwarzband Samuel.
