    Analysis of Cancer Patients Characteristics and the Self-ruqyah Treatment to the Patients Spiritual Life Quality

    AIM: The research aimed is to analyze the characteristics of cancer patients and the self-ruqyah treatment to the spiritual life quality among patients. METHODS: The research used the analytical observation studies with 20 respondents who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. In the research, the depression was measured with the beck depression inventory and the quality of life was measured with (FACT-G) and the spiritual life quality with FACIT Sp.12 (the functional assessment of the chronic illness therapy spiritual) on the case (experimental). Namely, 10 cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy who participated in the self-ruqyah treatment program and the control group, namely 10 patients who did not participate in program. After 25 days, the cancer patients of both groups were examined their cortisol saliva and were measured their levels of depression, life quality, and spiritual life quality. RESULTS: This study illustrates that the number of cancer patients are more female (65%) than male (35%). Then, the risk of the age group, then the age range most often found in this study is the age range of 40–49 years which is as much as 55%, then the age of 50–59 (25%) and the rest in the young age group (20%). The number of respondents sampled in this study was mostly found in the middle/junior high school education gap of 40%, not at school or elementary school at 35% and respondents who had a Strata education of 25%. Most all patients who were sampled in this study had a permanent job of 30% as civil servants or 25% private, the rest stopped working because of suffering from this disease as much as 30%. CONCLUSION: There are differences in the average value of quality of life in cancer patients who do independent ruqyah therapy and who do not do ruqyah independently

    In Indonesia, according to source of Riskersda in 2007, the most powerful of death cause was stoke (15,4%), then hypertensi, diabet, cancer and cronic and obstructif lungs dis-ease which can decrease the grand quality of life. There were many studies that told us reli-giousity (obeying the religion‟s rule) had good impact for health, one example was in US.This research purpose is to tell us the relationship between religiousity and depression, anxiety, stress and life quality of cronic sufferer in Makassar, which is held in Haji Hospital and Labuang Baji Hospital. All of cronic sufferer in Makassar 2013 are population which taken by non probability sample accidental sampling total ammount 38 people. This research uses survey analitical method with cross sectional study by using question to get the data about religiousity, depression, anxiety and stress, also patient life quality.The result of this research shows us that, there is no significant relationship between religiousity and depression of cronic disease because mark of P >0,05 is 0,457 and shows positive relations with weak relation 0,321. Religiousity of anxiety also shows there is no sig-nificant relationship between religiousity and anxiety chronic suffer disease because mark of P >0,05 is -0,72 and shows negativecorrelation with strong correlation 0,769. Religiousity of stress shows there is no significant relationship between religiousity and stress of chronic suffer because mark of P>0,05 is 0,232 and shows positive correlation with power of corre-lation 0,449. Besides religiousity and life quality shows there is no significant reltionship be-tween religiousity and life quality of chronic suffer because mark of P>0,05 is 0,556 and shows positive correlationwith weak correlation 0,250.We need new program from the health and medical departement especially the hospital that can include religiousity to the patient in healing process. Applying religiousity research in many side of life, not only in health and medical departement but also ini educational de-partement, then religousity experience especially for the patient in dialy of life by reading and reciting the holy qur‟an.Key word : Cronic disease, religiousity, depression, anxiety, stress and quality of lif

    PSYCHOSOSIAL FACTORS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF HEALTH OFFICERS

    Background:Psychosocial factors have become a major concern in occupational health. Changes that occur in the labor market, namely increased globalization, competition, flexibility, and new forms of work organization. Objective:The purpose of this study was to describe the psychosocial factors on the performance of health workers in Puskesmas X Makassar City.Method:This research method is a descriptive quantitative research with a population of all health workers at Puskesmas X Makassar City as many as 55 people using total sampling. The collected data were then analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Result:The results of data analysis showed that the majority of health workers at Puskesmas X Makassar City experienced severe stress as much as 50.9%, heavy loads as much as 65.5%, and mild fatigue as much as 67.3% with optimal good quality performance. This illustrates that health workers experience psychosocial factors that have a positive impact on performance, and to produce good performance.Conclusion:It is necessary to create a psychosocial environment so that individuals feel comfortable in groups and organizations, showing high productivity and improving the quality of work

    Background: Quality health services are health services that can satisfy every service user by the average satisfaction level of the population and its implementation by the established code of ethics and service standards. Objective: To determine the description of the quality of health services on patient satisfaction in the inpatient installation of the Makassar General Hospital of the Hajj Region in 2019.Method: The method used is descriptive. The population in this study were patients using inpatient class III RSUD Haji Makassar in 2019 and based on data obtained in May 2019 as many as 848 patients.Result:The satisfaction service variable shows that of the 89 samples studied, 80 respondents were satisfied (89.9%) and 9 respondents (10.1%) were dissatisfied. The reliability variable (57.3%) is categorized as good and (42.7%) is not good. The responsiveness variable (66.3%) is categorized as good and (33.7%) is not good. The guarantee variable (75.3%) is categorized as good and (24.7%) is not good. The direct evidence variable (53.9%) is categorized as good and (46.1%) is not good. The empathy variable (82.0%) is categorized as good and (18.0%) is not good.Conclusion: It is hoped that the health workers at the General Hospital of the Haji Makassar Region will improve performance in prime health service activities to the community, and always prioritize the interests of patients in installations, especially patients in inpatient installations

    Factors Related to the Incidence of Contact Dermatitis In-Fisherman on the Spermonde Island

    BACKGROUND: Many factors can influence the occurrence of dermatitis; this factor is divided into two, namely exogenous and endogenous factors. Fishermen are jobs that are susceptible to disease in dermatitis, especially contact dermatitis in the small island. AIM: This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the incidence of contact dermatitis in fishermen on the Spermonde islands. METHODS: This study was an observational analytic study using a cross-sectional design study. This research was conducted on Lae-Lae, Barrang Lompo, and Lumu-Lumu Island in 2019. Samples in this study were 110 fishermen obtained using Accidental sampling techniques. Data collection is using research instruments. RESULTS: Data analysis performed was univariate and bivariate analysis with a Chi-square test. Based on the results of the study, the research variables related to factors affecting contact dermatitis in fishermen in the Spermonde Islands were a history of skin diseases (p = 0.000), use of PPE (p = 0.000), personal hygiene (p = 0.000), and working period (p = 0.003) while unrelated factors are age (p = 0.373). CONCLUSION: Fishermen should pay more attention to four factors, namely the history of skin diseases, the use of PPE, hygiene, and work period, to avoid contact dermatitis

    Objective Health problems are complex problems the resultant of various environmental problems that are natural and man-made, socio-cultural, behavior, population, and genetics. Method This research is a qualitative type with an ethnographic approach which is also supported by a phenomenological approach. Results In the Ammatoa Kajang tribe, there are 4 special rituals related to health, namely Panganro (safety of the world and the hereafter and disease outbreaks), Andingingi (avoiding disasters), Allisa’Ere Tallasa (health and safety of children), and Abbole simaja (healing of diseases in children).     Covid-19 Exposure Risk Level in Daily Activity in Adapting to New Habits in the Pandemic Period

    Objective Analyze how the COVID-19 exposure risk level in daily activity in adapting to new habits. Methods A cross-sectional online survey of the Indonesian adult population. Administered by an online questionnaire. A total of 497 samples, used a probabilistic sampling, collected between 20th and 24th June 2020. The sample lived in 108 districts across all 32 provinces in Indonesia. Result We found the distribution of COVID-19 exposure risk level in daily activities almost the same was 26.0% of participants had very high risk, 27.4% were high risk, 22.9% were moderate risk, and 23.7% were low risk. Male had activity risk level significantly lower than female (p-value 0.001). There are 14% of participants with a very high level of activity risk living in areas with uncontrolled virus transmission. Conclusion The risk of COVID-19 transmission occurs through a variety of activities carried out daily. All public meeting places have to consider compliance with health protocol to prevent it
