    Optimalisasi Pelaksanaan Early Warning System (EWS) di Ruang Rawat Inap RS X

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of Early Warning Score (EWS) in hospitals. The method used is a case report including assessment, problem identification, problem analysis using fishbone, preparation of plan of action (PoA), implementation and evaluation. Data collection was carried out using interviews and field observations. The results showed that the hospital had implemented a system to prevent worsening to patients using a tool called Early Warning Score (EWS), but the application of EWS was still not optimal. The problem was solved using Kurt Lewin's planned change approach with the implementation carried out by making training, case discussions, quizzes and monitoring and evaluating the implementation of EWS in the hospital. In conclusion, increasing competence by providing training, discussions about EWS and conducting monitoring and evaluation can optimize the implementation of EWS in hospitals.   Keywords: Nurse, Patient Safety, Early Warning System, Implementatio

    Fungsi Pengarahan Kepala Ruangan Meningkatkan Pelaksanaan Serah Terima Antar Shift

    This study aims to improve the implementation of the handover between shifts through the direction of the head of the room such as motivation, communication, delegation and supervision in two maternity wards consisting of one room head and fifteen nursing staff. The study was conducted for five weeks at X Hospital with data obtained through interviews, observations and surveys. The method used is a case study through problem analysis using a fishbone diagram and then making innovative changes using Lewin's 3-step model approach. Implementation is carried out for one week at the time of handing over the morning shift. The results showed that the program was still in the movement stage, the handover time was adequate according to Standard Operating Procedures, the head of the room supervised two wards alternately, surveys of nursing staff related to the function of directing the head of the room increased by 6.7%. In conclusion, the implementation of the briefing function carried out by the head of the room in the handover process between shifts in the two maternity rooms of X Hospital has increased based on the results of the questionnaire distributed to the nursing staff. The results of the implementation of supervision show that the time required in the handover process is more adequate and in accordance with the existing SPO. The recommendation is that the hospital needs to continue this program to the next stage, the nursing sub-services need to make regulations on nursing handover guidelines and carry out tiered supervision in the wards.   Keywords: Directional function, head of room, maternity ward, handove

    Optimalisasi Panduan Penjadwalan Keperawatan Di Ruang Rawat Inap Covid-19 RS X

    Sumber daya keperawatan diperlukan untuk penanganan pandemi yang efektif, di mana dalam kondisi krisis seperti ini dan berisiko tinggi paparan infeksi terhadap staf perawat, potensi stres, dan masalah kesehatan mental, sehingga dibutuhkan pengelolaan sumber daya keperawatan dengan bijaksana untuk menurunkan transmisi selama pandemi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengoptimalisasi panduan metode penjadwalan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap Covid-19 selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Metode menggunakan case study dengan analisis masalah penjadwalan keperawatan menggunakan diagram tulang ikan. Pengkajian dilakukan kepada kepala ruangan ruang rawat inap Covid-19 di RS X. Identifikasi masalah data awal dilakukan melalui pengkajian dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara via zoom meeting dan penyebaran kuesioner (Google Forms). Kemudian dilakukan prioritas masalah dengan scoring, setelah itu dilakukan penetapan masalah. Analisis masalah menggunakan diagram fishbone, lalu dilanjutkan dengan menyusun Plan of Action, melakukan implementasi dan terakhir evaluasi. Metode penjadwalan yang paling efisien dan sesuai kebutuhan ruang rawat inap Covid-19 saat ini metode penjadwalan 3 shift jam kerja 7-7-10, dimana jumlah SDM tercukupi, jam kerja yang tidak terlalu panjang namun tetap memenuhi jumlah jam kerja yang ditentukan sehingga mencegah kelelahan perawat, jumlah perawat di ruang isolasi 2 orang sehingga memudahkan tindakan keperawatan yang membutuhkan 2 orang perawat, jumlah pemakaian APD yang efisien, jam pulang perawat yang tidak terlalu malam sehingga perawat dapat tetap menjalankan tugas di era AKB namun tetap bisa pulang ke rumah untuk mendapatkan support keluarga dengan menjalankan protokol kesehatan yang berlaku. Metode penjadwalan keperawatan yang dirancang dengan baik dan efisien harus dilakukan selama masa pandemi, mengingat pentingnya kesehatan dan keselamatan petugas kesehatan

    Penguatan Panduan Asuhan Keperawatan (PAK) dalam Pemberian Asuhan Keperawatan COVID-19 di Rumah Sakit

    This study aims to strengthen PAK in providing COVID-19 nursing care in hospitals. The method used in this research is study analysis. Retrieval of data through interviews and questionnaires. The data obtained are then collected and analyzed using a fishbone diagram consisting of man, money, method, environment, material, and management to find problems. The analysis results form the basis for the planning of activities or a plan of action (POA). The implementation of PAK socialization shows that the average pre-test result for nursing personnel is 74 and the post-test result is an average score of 81. In conclusion, there is an increase in understanding regarding the material that has been presented.     Peer Supports Was Related To Improving The Nurse’s Self-Efficacy In Caring For Covid-19 Patients In Hospitals

    Background: Nurses who fought against Covid-19 are generally under pressure, so they are prone to anxiety and stress. This problem certainly affects the nurses' self-efficacy in caring for Covid-19 patients. Therefore, it is necessary to have support from nurse managers and colleagues to overcome this problem. This study aims to identify the correlation between nurse managers and peer support with nurses' self-efficacy in caring for Covid-19 patients in hospitals Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples was 167 nurses from the Covid-19 referral hospital in Cirebon with the accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression tests. Results: The results showed that there was a correlation between peer support and nurses' self-efficacy (p <0.001), and there was not a correlation between nurse manager support and nurses' efficacy in caring for Covid-19 patients in hospitals (p = 0.229). The most influential factors on nurses' self-efficacy were peer support (OR: 3.207) and gender (OR: 2.229). Conclusion: Peer support was related to increasing the nurse's efficacy in caring for Covid-19 in the hospital. The recommendation is the hospitals need to increase support for nurses by providing motivation, information, and counselling for individuals who need it. Therefore the emotional burden of nurses can be reduced, and self-efficacy becomes better in doing the job

    This study aims to find the root of the problem to streamline documentation in outpatient care. The method in this research is a case study using a particular pilot study approach for nurses in outpatient rooms for children through Kurt Lewin's theory of change. Problem analysis was performed using a fishbone. The implementation is carried out as a solution to the problems that occur in drafting a Standard Operating Procedure and a monitoring format for monitoring the evaluation of nursing care documentation using the SOAP approach and socializing innovation products. The research results with fishbone analysis showed that the quality of nursing care documentation using the SOAP approach in outpatient rooms for children was not up to standard. In conclusion, the root of the problem is identified. The implementation of a pilot study related to the optimization of the quality of nursing care documentation. Hospital X is at the stage of moving/movement change. Innovative products are socialized and accepted for further instrument testing.
