The Publisher's final version can be found by following the DOI link.Presently, there is a rapid growth of interest in the area of flexible electronics. Benefits such as light weight, durability and low-cost are among the most appealing aspects. However, the high temperatures throughout the fabrication processes are still the main hurdle. In this study, the deposition of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) at low temperature (300˚C) using Tin (Sn) catalyst is studied. Silicon nanostructures have been the centre of research for many years for a number of applications in different areas. Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) and other industrial deposition techniques, for the growth of crystalline silicon micro- and nano structures use high temperatures and therefore are not compatible with temperature sensitive substrates. This work utilises a low temperature deposition method for the growth of SiNWs and creates a leeway to use flexible plastic sheets as substrates. The silicon nanowires were deposited by exploiting the Vapour-Liquid-Solid (VLS) material growth mechanism using Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (PECVD) technique. The suitability of these structures, as an information storage material, for future flash and two terminals non-volatile memory devices are investigated. Strong charge storage behaviour with a retention time up to 5 hours was observed showing great potential for the future memory candidate

STUDIUM RADIOAKTIVNÍHO ZNAČENÍ CHEMICKY MODIFIKOVANÝCH BOMBESINŮ Diplomová práce Evangelia Saranti Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové Katedra biofyziky a fyzikální chemie Úkolem této práce bylo stadium radioaktivního značení nového receptorově-specifického peptidu DOTA-Lys3-bombesinu terapeutických radionuklidem Lu-177 a stanovit stabilitu značeného produktu. Srovnání metod pro určení radiochemické čistoty značeného peptidu ukázalo větší spolehlivost HPLC analýzy ve srovnání s tenkovrstvou chromatografií.STUDY OF RADIOLABELING OF CHEMICALLY MODIFIED BOMBESINES Diploma Thesis Evangelia Saranti Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry The aim of this thesis was to study the radiolabeling of new perspective receptor-specific peptide DOTA-Lys3-bombesin with therapeutic radionuclide Lu-177 and to determine the stability of the labeled product. We have found the optimum conditions for radiolabeling of selected peptide: pH 5.0 and incubated at 42ř C for 35-40 minutes. Under these conditions sufficient radiochemical purity for biological testing of substance was achieved (higher than 97%). We tested the stability of the radiolabeled product when it was stored at 4ř C, and both in the environment by an order of magnitude higher concentration of competing ligand EDTA or DTPA. Stored in the refrigerator peptide was stable for at least four hours after preparation, study of stability in an environment of competing ligands showed good stability of the DOTA-complex with lutetium-177. Comparison of methods for determination of radiochemical purity of the radiolabeled peptide showed greater reliability of HPLC analysis compared to thin-layer chromatography.Department of Biophysics and Physical ChemistryKatedra biofyziky a fyzikální chemieFaculty of Pharmacy in Hradec KrálovéFarmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králov

    Explainable AI with counterfactual paths

Explainable AI (XAI) is an increasingly important area of research in machine learning, which in principle aims to make black-box models transparent and interpretable. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to XAI that uses counterfactual paths generated by conditional permutations. Our method provides counterfactual explanations by identifying alternative paths that could have led to different outcomes. The proposed method is particularly suitable for generating explanations based on counterfactual paths in knowledge graphs. By examining hypothetical changes to the input data in the knowledge graph, we can systematically validate the behaviour of the model and examine the features or combination of features that are most important to the model's predictions. Our approach provides a more intuitive and interpretable explanation for the model's behaviour than traditional feature weighting methods and can help identify and mitigate biases in the model

Towards a Learning-Aware Application Guided by Hierarchical Classification of Learner Profiles

Learner profiling is a methodology that draws a parallel from user profiling. Implicit feedback is often used in recommender systems to create and adapt user profiles. In this work the implicit feedback is based on the learner's answering behaviour in the Android application UnlockYourBrain, which poses different basic mathematical questions to the learners. We introduce an analytical approach to model the learners' profile according to the learner's answering behaviour. Furthermore, similar learner's profiles are grouped together to construct a learning behaviour cluster. The choice of hierarchical clustering as a means of classification of learners' profiles derives from the observations of learners behaviour. This in turn reflects the similarities and subtle differences of learner behaviour, which are further analysed in more detail. Building awareness about the learner's behaviour is the first and necessary step for future learning-aware applications
