Le dossier documentaire dans les médiathèques du Cycle d'orientation genevois: analyse de l'utilisation et des pratiques professionnelles, projet de collaboration et constitution d'un fonds

Ce travail de diplôme traite de la gestion des dossiers documentaires dans les médiathèques scolaires du cycle d’orientation de l’Etat de Genève. La première partie analyse l’existant ainsi que les besoins concernant les pratiques bibliothéconomiques relatives aux dossiers documentaires. La problématique du manque de temps et les améliorations souhaitées sont mises en avant pour conduire à une présentation et une analyse des différentes manières de gérer les dossiers documentaires en médiathèque scolaire. Dans la seconde partie, les auteurs formulent des recommandations de gestion. Celles-ci se présentent sous forme de quatre scénarii applicables successivement. Le premier scénario, réalisable à très court terme, envisage une harmonisation des fonds. Les suivants proposent tour à tour une collaboration sans, puis avec l’intégration du catalogue collectif, pour finir avec le scénario qui traite de la numérisation des dossiers documentaires. Dans la dernière partie, tout en se basant sur les recommandations du premier scénario, les auteurs présentent leur réalisation pratique d’un fonds de dossiers documentaires pour la médiathèque du cycle d’orientation de Montbrillant. Dans leur conclusion, les auteurs comparent et critiquent enfin les divers scénarii et évoquent les perspectives pour l’avenir

Short-term glucocorticoid-related side effects and adverse reactions: a narrative review and practical approach

Glucocorticoids are the mainstay treatment of a variety of inflammatory and autoimmune disorders. Unfortunately, metabolic side effects, drug interactions and adverse reactions commonly lead to glucocorticoid-related side effects, thereby compromising their intended anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. The goal of this review is to help clinicians to monitor the broad spectrum of side effects of short-term systemic glucocorticoid administration, defined as glucocorticoid treatment shorter than 30 days. SARS-CoV-2 Evolution among Oncological Population: In-Depth Virological Analysis of a Clinical Cohort

Background: Oncological patients have a higher risk of prolonged SARS-CoV-2 shedding, which, in turn, can lead to evolutionary mutations and emergence of novel viral variants. The aim of this study was to analyze biological samples of a cohort of oncological patients by deep sequencing to detect any significant viral mutations. Methods: High-throughput sequencing was performed on selected samples from a SARS-CoV-2-positive oncological patient cohort. Analysis of variants and minority variants was performed using a validated bioinformatics pipeline. Results: Among 54 oncological patients, we analyzed 12 samples of 6 patients, either serial nasopharyngeal swab samples or samples from the upper and lower respiratory tracts, by high-throughput sequencing. We identified amino acid changes D614G and P4715L as well as mutations at nucleotide positions 241 and 3037 in all samples. There were no other significant mutations, but we observed intra-host evolution in some minority variants, mainly in the ORF1ab gene. There was no significant mutation identified in the spike region and no minority variants common to several hosts. Conclusions: There was no major and rapid evolution of viral strains in this oncological patient cohort, but there was minority variant evolution, reflecting a dynamic pattern of quasi-species replication.</p
