THE URGENCY AND CHALLENGES OF FEMALE JOURNALISTS IN THE ERA OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0 IN INDONESIA

Abstrak Tulisan ini membahas persoalan eksistensi dan dinamika jurnalis perempuan di Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 di Indonesia. Peran jurnalis perempuan di era revolusi industry ini ternyata masih mengalami perlakuan yang diskriminatif dalam menjalankan tugas jurnalistik di lapangan. Pekerjaan tertentu hanya bisa dilakukan oleh jurnalis laki-laki, sedangkan jurnalis perempuan hanya pada pekerjaan tertentu lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Revolusi Industri 4.0 atau yang sering disebut dengan cyber physical system merupakan revolusi yang menitikberatkan pada otomatisasi dan kolaborasi antara teknologi saber yang muncul pada abad ke-21 dengan ciri utama penggabungan informasi dan teknologi komunikasi ke sektor industry sehingga tidak ada perbedaan dan pemisahan antara pekerjaan yang diidentikan dengan gender tertentu. Tantangan berikutnya bahwa masih banyak pelecehan seksual terhadap jurnalis perempuan dalam melakukan aktifitas peliputan berita di lapangan. Perjuangan kesetaraan gender di sektor media merupakan pekerjaan yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius sehingga tercipta iklim kerja yang sehat bagi para jurnalis perempuan. AsbtractThis paper discusses the issue of the existence and dynamics of women journalists in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era in Indonesia. The role of female journalists in the era of the industrial revolution apparently still experienced discriminatory treatment in carrying out journalistic tasks in the field. Certain jobs can only be done by male journalists, while female journalists can only do certain other jobs. This study used qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the Industrial Revolution 4.0 or what is often referred to as the cyber physical system is a revolution that focuses on automation and collaboration between saber technologies that emerged in the 21st century with the main characteristics of combining information and communication technology. into the industrial sector so that there is no difference and separation between jobs that are identified with a certain gender. The next challenge is that there is still a lot of sexual harassment against female journalists in carrying out reporting activities in the field. The struggle for gender equality in the media sector is work that needs serious attention in order to create a healthy working climate for women journalists

The Communication Strategy of The Directorate of Drugs Police Sumatera Utara in an Effort to Eradicate Drugs

Drug abuse is still a considerable problem today considering the consequences of the development of science and technology, the impact of globalization, the flow of transport is very rapidly growing and the transfer of materialistic values with the dynamics of the purpose of bad opinion that led to the spread of drugs to urban areas but also to rural areas. This study aims to determine the communication strategy used by the Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut in this case eradicating drugs. This study uses the theory of organizational communication with descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study concluded that the Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut has a strategy or way of working to achieve the goals in the Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut, with various ways such as the dissemination of News, providing the media as a place to provide information.Penyalahgunaan narkoba masih menjadi masalah yang cukup besar saat ini mengingat akibat perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dampak globalisasi, arus transportasi yang sangat berkembang pesat dan perpindahan nilai-nilai materialistis dengan dinamika tujuan opini buruk yang menyebabkan meluasnya narkoba ke perkotaan tetapi juga hingga ke pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi yang digunakan Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut dalam hal ini memberantas narkoba. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi organisasi dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut memiliki strategi atau cara kerja untuk mencapai tujuan didalam organisasi Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut, dengan berbagai cara yang dilakukan seperti penyebaran berita, menyediakan media sebagai tempat untuk memberi informasi.&nbsp

ROLE OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS OFFICE OF RANTAU UTARA DISTRICT IN DISSEMINATION OF LAW NUMBER 16 OF 2019 CONCERNING EARLY MARRIAGE

Abstract: This study aims to find out the role of Public Relations (PR) of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Rantau Utara District in socializing the law on early marriage. As a theoretical basis in analyzing the problems in this qualitative research, theories about public relations and public relations communication management are used, so that researchers are required to obtain data and information by conducting in-depth interviews and observations. This research uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive. The informant in the research was Mr. Muhammad Ikhwan Lubis who served as chairman of the Office of Religious Affairs in Rantau Utara District. The data collection technique used by the researcher was to conduct interviews, observation and documentation, using a phenomenological study approach, in which the researcher tried to find the meaning of the phenomenon of the role of public relations in socializing the law on early marriage at the KUA of Rantau Utara District. The data analysis used by the researcher is descriptive analysis, which summarizes all the data that has been collected from the interviews. The results of this study indicate that in socializing the law on early marriage, the Public Relations Office of the North Rantau Sub-District conducted special training for young people, and socialization as well as direct counseling to educate the public in North Rantau District.   Keywords: Public Relations Role, Office of Religious Affairs, Law, Early    Marriag

URGENSITAS CRN TV DALAM PENGEMBANGAN LIFE SKILL JURNALISTIK MAHASISWA ILMU KOMUNIKASI UIN SU

Abstrak: Salah satu bentuk pengembangan inteletualitas mahasiswa salah satunya adalah di bidang Jurnalistik, yang hal ini dikalangan mahasiswa itu dikenal pers. jurnalistik merupakan proses mencari, mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan mendistribusikan informasi kepada publik melalui media tentang kejadian sehari-hari.  Karena jurnalisme lebih mengandalkan pengalaman langsung di lapangan, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa mahasiswa jurusan ilmu komunikasi tidak asing lagi dengan istilah tersebut. Mahasiswa yang berada dalam situasi seperti ini tentu saja membutuhkan tempat yang dapat mendukung upaya jurnalistik mereka. Dalam organisasi, mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan yang sudah mereka miliki. Untuk membantu pengembangan keterampilan jurnalistik praktis, CRN TV dirancang untuk mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan memberikan gambaran umum tentang pentingnya CRN TV bagi mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Dalam hal ini betapa pentingnya organisasi ini bagi mahasiswa yang ingin meningkatkan keterampilan hidup mereka. Mahasiswa yang mempelajari Ilmu, khususnya mereka yang memiliki bakat jurnalistik, dapat memilih organisasi CRN TV untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mereka lebih lanjut. CRN TV membantu mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman langsung yang tidak mungkin mereka dapatkan saat belajar di kelas dengan berfokus pada bidang jurnalistik, penyiaran (broadcasting), hubungan masyarakat, dan desain grafis Keterlibatan CRN TV dalam Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi sangat menguntungkan bagi mahasiswa yang ingin memperdalam pengetahuan dan kemahiran mereka dalam bidang jurnalistik, penyiaran, hubungan masyarakat, dan desain grafis.   Kata kunci: Jurnalistik, Life Skill, ORGANISASI, CRN TV UINSU   Abstract:  Journalism is the process of seeking out, gathering, analyzing, and distributing information to the public via the media about daily happenings. Since journalism relies more on hands-on experience in the field, it is safe to say that communication science majors are familiar with the term. Student's in this situation obviously need a place that can support their journalistic efforts. In organizations, students can enhance the skills they already have. To aid in the development of practical journalism skills, CRN TV is designed for communication science students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra's Faculty of Social Sciences. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach and gave an overview of the significance of CRN TV to communication science students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra's Faculty of Social Sciences. The outcomes demonstrated how crucial the organization is for students who desire to improve their life skills. Students studying communication science at UIN North Sumatra's Faculty of Social Sciences, particularly those with journalism talents, might choose the CRN TV organization to further develop their skills. CRN TV helps students get hands-on experience they would not have otherwise had while learning in the classroom by focusing on the fields of journalism, broadcasting, public relations, and graphic design. Students studying communication science at UIN North Sumatra's Faculty of Social Sciences benefit from CRN TV's support in honing their journalistic talents as well as their knowledge of leadership, how to interview sources, how to build confidence, time management, and responsibility skills. The involvement of CRN TV in the Faculty of Social Sciences Communication Studies Program, is especially advantageous for students who want to deepen their knowledge of and proficiency in the domains of journalism, broadcasting, public relations, and graphic design. PERANAN HUMAS PARTAI GOLONGAN KARYA (GOLKAR) DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN CITRA DI KABUPATEN ASAHAN

Abstrak: Humas merupakan suatu profesi yang umumnya dipakai oleh berbagai instansi ataupun organisasi lainnya. Pada saat ini humas banyak dipakai dalam ranah politik untuk membantu para aktor-aktor politik dalam rangka meningkatkan pandangan positif di kalangan masyarakat serta untuk kepentingan-kepentingan khusus. Peran humas sangat diperlukan dalam partai politik sebagai pengatur ikatan partai dengan khalayak yang mencakup (vaters), alat massa, penguasa, lembaga-lemnaga, rival politik, dan badan partai politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui peran humas serta upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan citra partai di Kabupaten Asahan. Metode penelitian yang dipakai penulis adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif dilakukan pada objek yang alamiah dan berkembang apa adanya, serta dapat menggambarkan situasi yang sebenarnya untuk penyajian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran humas di Partai Golkar sebagai hubungan antara organisasi dengan khalayaknya serta sebagai pembangunan citra partai.   Kata Kunci : Peran Humas dan Citra Partai
