Fungating scrotal mass and lower motor neuron facial nerve palsy (LMN-FNP) are unusual traits of testicular cancer. A 49-year-old farmer with recurrent right hemi-scrotal swelling that expeditiously grew to involve the whole scrotum. He had a nick on the swelling and the resultant ulcer extended rapidly over the mass and right groin. There were associated peniledeformity and right lower leg swelling. The angle of his mouth became inclined to the left side with inability to close the right eye. He had right orchidectomy five years earlier for righttesticular mass throughthe scrotal approach but no histology was done. On examination, he had a huge fungating scrotal mass that extends to the right groin with saxophone penile deformity. There were multiple left inguinal lymphadenopathies with right pedal oedema. There was grade III right LMN-FNP, tympanometry showed an absent acoustic reflex and pure tone audiometry revealed right sensorineural hearing loss. His α-fetal protein was elevated and the tissue biopsy confirmed embryonal testicular germ cell tumor. The Computerized tomography (CT) scan of the abdominopelvic and temporomastoid regions showed metastatic deposits in the retroperitoneal group of lymph nodes and fallopian canal respectively. The patient was optimized and commenced on cytotoxic chemotherapy but five days after completing the first course he developed sudden inability to swallow, lapsed into unconsciousness and ceased breathing despite resuscitation effort. Conclusion: Fungating scrotal mass and facial nerve palsy from an advanced testicular germ cell tumour are unusual. Therefore, a high index of suspicion is essential for the diagnosis testicular tumour secondaries as the cause of facial nerves palsy and the tumour invasion the cause of the fungating mass. It has a negative impact on patient's body image plus the quality of life and probably presagedpoor outcome

Landuse/Landcover (LULC) changes are recognised as some of the major causes of environmental problems like land degradation and climate change. To achieve sustainability, we need to properly understand such changes in order to have adequate information that will enable us to design and implementing measures to mitigate their negative impacts. Doing this particularly requires a proper understanding of how stakeholders perceive the changes in general and their drivers in particular. Unfortunately, not much is known for many areas about the perspective of landuse stakeholders on drivers of LULC changes. This paper reports the results of a study conducted to examine the perceptions of different landuse stakeholders on drivers of LULC changes in Abuja Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.Questionnaire survey was utilised, involving 514 households across four settlements, 2 rural (Karshi and Orozo) and 2 urban (Nyanya and Karu) towns in the territory, which were complimented with Focus Group Discussions were conducted. The results obtained showed that urban dwellers are largely aware of drivers of changes in socioeconomic drivers (physical development on lands, more commercial complex development and more institutional development). Rural dwellers are largely aware of environmental drivers of LULC changes (bush burning, livestock overgrazing, collections of wood and medicinal plants, and agricultural expansion). It was concluded that there is the need to bring about a harmonisation of the perceptions of LULC change drivers by the rural and urban dwellers so as to bring about a common front understanding and responding to LULC changes in the study area

Despite the importance of big data and its governance, little research has focused on its effectiveness in helping and developing employees. Based on these arguments, we examine a model scrutinizing the impact of big data governance on employees' social media usage (i.e., for informational search and client-relational building) and T-shaped skills. Survey data were obtained from lawyers working in various chambers in Antalya, Turkey (n=324), and a variancebased structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique was applied for data analysis. Results from PLS-SEM show that big data and data governance exert a positive impact on social media usage and employees' T-shaped skills. This study offers a nuanced insight into the role of big data governance on social media usage (i.e., for informational search and client-relational building) and employees' T-shaped skills development. Implications for theory, management, and technology are discussed alongside the limitations and future research directions. No sponso
