The sedge Carex secalina – critically endangered species in Poland: new locality in the breeding colony of black-headed gull Chroicocephalus ridibundus

Abstract A new locality of rye sedge Carex secalina, a critically endangered species was discovered on an island of Lake Kusowo, in the vicinity of Bydgoszcz (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province), in June 2015. The species was found in a breeding colony of black-headed gull Chroicocephalus ridibundus. The population size was estimated at least at 30 individuals and all of them produced generative shoots. This locality of C. secalina is the northernmost in Poland and the only ascertained, apart from Inowrocław Plain. Colonization of the island by C. secalina was caused, probably, by zoochory as a result of accidental bringing of propagules by gulls, together with nesting material from outside the colony.</jats:p

W pracy magisterskiej opisano przykładowe rodzaje większościowych i proporcjonalnych systemów wyborczych. Dokonano porównania ich wybranych wad. Dodatkowo został przedstawiony katalog zasad, które powinny istnieć w demokratycznych systemach wyborczych zgodnie z prawem międzynarodowym. Na koniec dokonano symulacji podziału mandatów przy zastosowaniu zasad ordynacji brytyjskiej dla wyników wyborów do Sejmu RP z 25 października 2015 roku.The master's thesis describes exemplary types of majority and proportional electoral systems. The comparison of their selected advantages and disadvantages was made. Additionally was presented a catalog of principles which should be exist by democratic electoral systems according to international law. At the end, the allocation of seats was simulated using the rules of the British Ordinance for the results of the elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of October 25, 2015

Rampa drogowa jest geometrycznym przejściem między odcinkami drogi o przeciwnych pochyleniach poprzecznych. Niewłaściwe kształtowanie ramp, zwłaszcza na szerokich jezdniach dróg dwujezdniowych, może powodować słaby odpływ wody z jezdni i zagrażać bezpieczeństwu ruchu. Ma to szczególne znaczenie na odcinkach dróg o małym pochyleniu podłużnym. W artykule przedstawiono zasady projektowania ramp drogowych wynikające z przepisów i doświadczeń polskich i niemieckich.Road ramp is geometric transition between sections of road having opposite transverse grades. Improper shaping of ramps, in particular on wide carriageways, may causes weak water outflow from carriageway and pose danger of road safety. This have particular influence on road sections having small longitudinal grade. In this article, principles of road rams design following from Polish and German regulations and experience are presented
