Healthy parenting and family resilience in early childhood has been shown to be an important factor in building emotional resilience for the children: it illustrates that when parents have higher emotional resilience, their children tend to have higher emotional resilience as well. However, the tools that available in the market right now only teach people what emotional resilience rather than how to practice it in daily life. This report describes our project to create a virtual reality tool that can not only teach the importance of emotional resilience, but also help the parents develop personal resilience. The system is based on the VR Empathy Training Tool created by a former senior design project in which the user can interact with a crying child and learn how to handle stress under certain circumstances. The new system will add new features so that it can inform users about their stress level and allow the users to track their progress

Educating managers for business and government : a review of international experience

Managers, in both the private and public sectors, are increasingly recognized as critical in the use of scarce resources for national development. There is no unanimity of opinion, however, regarding the models or approaches to management education that are most appropriate in different environmental settings. This report encompasses management education for each of the following groups: the managers and future managers of large scale enterprises; entrepreneurs and small businessmen; and public administrators. It reviews worldwide trends and developments in management education for lessons in such areas as curriculum design, research and teaching methodology, and institutional policies and administration. The administrative structure and functional oversight of religious groups on campus

The current study was formulated as an exploratory study to describe the administrative structure and functional oversight of religious groups on college and university campuses and to see if institutional type affected that relationship. The population of the study included all Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral public and private not-for-profit institutions in the southeastern United States. Survey recipients for this study were student affairs administrators who were most likely to have immediate professional knowledge of the administrative oversight of campus religious groups. This study found that nearly all campuses recognize student religious groups. However, there are distinct and significant differences between the administrative oversight of campus religious groups at public and private colleges and universities

People with disabilities (PWD) include those who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments resulting from any physical or mental health conditions which, in interaction with various barriers, may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others. Meaning, objectives and benefits of CBR were discussed, challenges of effective CBR for PWD. Recommendations were made on how to effectively utilize CBR for the benefits of PWD
