Fusion cross sections for superheavy nuclei in the dinuclear system concept

Using the dinuclear system concept we present calculations of production cross sections for the heaviest nuclei. The obtained results are in a good agreement with the experimental data. The experimentally observed rapid fall-off of the cross sections of the cold fusion with increasing charge number $Z$ of the compound nucleus is explained. Optimal experimental conditions for the synthesis of the superheavy nuclei are suggested.Comment: 16 pages, LaTeX, including 3 postscript figure

Treatment of competition between complete fusion and quasifission in collisions of heavy nuclei

A model of competition between complete fusion and quasifission channels in fusion of two massive nuclei is extended to include the influence of dissipative effects on the dynamics of nuclear fusion. By using the multidimensional Kramers-type stationary solution of the Fokker-Planck equation, the fusion rate through the inner fusion barrier in mass asymmetry is studied. Fusion probabilities in symmetric 90Zr+90Zr, 100Mo+100Mo, 110Pd+110Pd, 136Xe+136Xe, almost symmetric 86Kr+136Xe and 110Pd+136Xe reactions are calculated. An estimation of the fusion probabilities is given for asymmetrical 62Ni+208Pb, 70Zn+208Pb, 82Se+208Pb, and 48Ca+244Pu reactions used for the synthesis of new superheavy elements.Comment: 29 pages, LaTeX, including 7 postscript figures, to appear in Nucl. Die Gebrauchssprache umfasst verwandte Prädikate unterschiedlicher Stelligkeit. Beispiele sind etwa '.. ist wichtig', '.. ist wichtig für den Zweck ..', '.. ist wichtig zum Zeitpunkt ..'. Einige Arten von Verständnisproblemen und Scheindissensen können überwunden oder verhindert werden, indem solche Ausdrücke zur Klärung herangezogen oder bevorzugt braucht werden. So können etwa die Rezipienten von missverständlichen Äußerungen höherstellige Prädikate verwenden, um klärende Interpretationen zu erstellen. Autoren von Äußerungen können ihrerseits höherstellige Prädikate gebrauchen, um das Risiko von Verständnisproblemen zu minimieren. Es werden philosophische Methoden entwickelt, die auf dieser gebrauchssprachlichen Praxis des Einsatzes höherstelliger Prädikate aufbauen. Dazu gehören die Interpretation durch Stelligkeitserhöhung, mit der verständnisbefördernde Paraphrasen erstellt werden können, und Methoden der Stelligkeitsrevision, durch die inkonsistente Sprachen in konsistente überführt werden können.The ordinary language contains related predicates of different arity. Some types of misunderstandings and merely apparent disagreements can be resolved or prevented by using these expressions for clarification or from the onset. The recipients of ambiguous utterances, for example, can use higher-arity predicates as part of clarifying interpretations. Authors, on the other hand, can use higher-arity predicates in order to minimize the risk of misunderstandings. Philosophical methods are developed which build on this use of higher arity predicates in ordinary language. They include interpretation through arity raising, which can produce clarifying paraphrases, and methods of arity revision, which can transform inconsistent languages into consistent ones

PubMed ID: 1334646Der 2,4-di-2-pyridylsubstituierte 7-Methyl-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-on-1,5-diester zeigt am vas deferens der Maus befriedigende K-agonistische Aktivität. - Zur Verstärkung der analgetischen Wirksamkeit werden Derivate mit m-OH-, m-OCH3-, m-Cl-, m-CH3- und m-NO2-Substituierten Phenylresten an C-2/4 synthetisiert: Aus entspr. Benzaldehyden, Methylamin und Oxoglutarsäureester werden Piperidonisomerengemische erhalten, die aus cis-Keton und -Enol sowie trans-Enol bestehen; deren Isomerisierungsverhalten wird in CDCl3 und CD3OD untersucht. Aus diesen Piperidonen werden durch Kondensation mit HCHO und Methylamin die Bicyclen erhalten, die eine verhältnismäßig starre Struktur durch eine gehinderte Rotation der Arylreste um die C-2- bzw.
