PERSPECTIVA DE UNA DOLARIZACIÓN OFICIAL EN NICARAGUA (2010-2014)

Analizar la posibilidad y el impacto socio-económico, ante una dolarización oficial en Nicaragua. Para la realización de este ensayo se utilizó el método deductivo-inductivo, el cual permite aplicar la teoría indagada, para obtener una amplia información de este fenómeno. Partiendo de la deducción que presenta este problema a nivel del país, se valoró las expectativas que se darían ante un cambio oficial de moneda. Este trabajo también integra el método analítico, por que toma en cuenta los principales sectores de la economía nicaragüense, los cuales están dolarizados, de manera que se pueda brindar posibles sugerencias. Nicaragua posee un alto nivel de dolarización extra oficial, aproximadamente en un 70% y los más afectados es la clase trabajadora quienes reciben sus salarios en córdobas, provocando cada día mayor pérdida del poder adquisitivo sobre los bienes y servicios que adquiere. Es muy difícil que Nicaragua abandone el córdoba por el dólar, porque no posee las reservas de dinero suficiente, lo más conveniente es recordobizar nuestra economía, con mayor productividad del trabajo, más eficiencia en la economía y transmitir más confianza por parte de la población Nicaragüense hacia nuestra moneda local

Viscoelastic Performance of Biocomposites

The viscoelastic behavior and performance to creep of biocomposites made from fique natural fiber and low-density polyethylene-aluminum (LDPE–Al) obtained from recycled long-life packages were studied. A relationship was observed between the creep mechanical responses of biocomposites with respect to natural fibers. Additionally, the four and six parameters of the mathematical model were calculated from the creep curves. A very good agreement between the experimental data and the theoretical curves was obtained in the fluency region. The relationship between interfacial fiber or filler and the polymer matrix is an indicator of mechanical performance of biocomposite, regardless of the application that you want to give. It is known that the mechanical and viscoelastic properties depend on the application time of loading, the type of load, temperature, micromechanics relationship between the natural fiber and the matrix, the type of anchor prevailing for the transfer effort to micro- and nano-levels and cannot be treated mathematically only by the laws of solids or fluids, viscoelastic behavior of biocomposites. It is possible to obtain mathematical models that fit different rheological phenomena; for example, creep and stress relaxation can be modeled and correlated with biocomposite experiment using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA)

“el rol que desempeñaron las firmas privadas de auditoría con relación a la crisis bancaria”

El presente trabajo trata acerca de la situación que se vivió en el Ecuador especialmente en los años de 1998 y 1999, en la que fuimos víctimas de una crisis bancaria que afectó al desarrollo del país. El primer capítulo contiene una breve información del campo de la investigación. El segundo capítulo trata de la crisis bancaria, sus antecedentes, proceso y consecuencias. El tercer capítulo contiene la investigación acerca de las firmas de auditoría para que tengan conocimiento de las mismas. En el cuarto capítulo veremos la relación que existió entre las firmas de auditoría y la crisis bancaria. El quinto capítulo es un análisis a las firmas que auditaron la entidad bancaria Filanbanco. Al finalizar se emiten respectivas conclusiones y recomendaciones

Latin-American Cultural Paradigm Contributions to Communication for the Development, Background, Texts, and Contexts of a Productive Relation

Durante la década de 1980 se produce una ruptura en la investigación comunicológica latinoamericana, cuyo resultado fue el nacimiento de un nuevo paradigma que se apropia y hace uso de una concepción antropológica de la cultura, desde la cual comienzan a abordarse los procesos comunicativos. Las contribuciones de este paradigma a la comunicación para el desarrollo, campo que en América Latina ya contaba con una larga tradición, han resultado particularmente significativas. A examinar y discutir sus principales antecedentes, así como a identificar y esclarecer las relaciones entre ellas, dedicamos las páginas del trabajo.During 1980 decade, there was a rupture in Latin-American communication research, which result was the birth of a new paradigm, which uses an anthropologic conception of culture, from which communicative processes start to be tackled. Contributions of this paradigm to communication for the development, a field that already had a long tradition in Latin America Latina, have been particularly meaningful. This work is devoted to examine and discuss their main backgrounds and to identify and clarify relations among them

Numerical determination of the distribution of energies for the XY-model

A systematic assessment of the influence of geometry and materials properties on the performance of arch dams

Arch dams have different properties that play a relevant role in their behavior, although it is not clear to what degree or in what sense. There is some consensus regarding the relevance of certain factors such as length at crown, height, base and crest thickness, or Young modulus of dam and foundation. However, others such as the shape of arcs and cantilevers, which are correlated and whose effect is more difficult to consider, can also be influential. In this work, a systematic study of the response of arch dams in front of the common loading scenarios has been carried out, taking into account the usual range of variation of their properties. In total, 39 input variables related to geometry, material strength and thermal load were considered. Ranges of variation for each of these parameters have been defined according to the usual design criteria and 3,000 different geometries – together with the corresponding FEM models have been generated with random values of these parameters. The resulting displacements and stresses have been used to fit prediction models based on a machine learning technique named ‘random forests’ that give an estimate of the dam response. The interpretation of these models can be associated with the relative importance of the characteristics of arch dams on each of the behavior variables
