Purpose: Employee’s turnover has been investigated by many researchers as an organisations’ negative outcome. The organizations that facing high rates of turnover should examine the fundamental reasons that cause employees’ turnover in order to reach real solutions to this problem. For that, they should ask a dynamic question, why some employees stay and some leave? Methodology: The reasons may seem difficult and consistent to the preferences and necessities of the employees. From another aspect, the majority of research in the context of turnover intention have been conducted in the western contexts, therefore it is worthwhile to encourage more studies in non-western settings to discover new understandings related to the problem. Results: Malaysia is considered as one of the developing countries that is having high turnover of employees in many sectors. Consequently, this study proposed a research framework to examine the relationship between organisational justice (OJ)’s three dimensions (Distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice), organisational learning culture (OLC) and turnover intention (TI). Furthermore this study recommended the moderating role of Job embeddedness (JE) in this relationship. Hence, the suggested research framework will contribute to the body of knowledge through providing new insights

    Get PDF
This study focuses on airborne heavy metal pollution in the industrial area. Eight points from Paka and Gebeng Industrial Area respectively were selected for this study within two monsoon seasons. The samples were analysed for heavy metals (Cd, As, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, and Zn) by using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The results showed that the mean concentration value of As, Pb and Cd for Paka were 0.005 mg/L ± 0.001, 0.107 mg/L ± 0.088, and 0.010 mg/L ± 0.008, respectively and Gebeng were 0.004 mg/L ± 0.002, 0.069 mg/L ± 0.059 and 0.005 mg/L ± 0.004, respectively in the southwest monsoon - much higher than the target value by European Commission in Directive 2004/107/EC and Directive 2008/50/EC. It could be concluded that the industrial and transportation emission were the major source of heavy metals in the atmosphere along the Paka and Gebeng Industrial Area

The pollination period is one of the crucial steps needed to ensure crop yield increases, especially in palm oil palm plantations. Most of the research has difficulty determining the pollination period of palm oil. Many problems contribute to this problem, such as difficut to reach and depedency of the polination insect as the insect activity is influenced by the surrounding enviroment.E-Nose can help determine the period by classifiy odour pattern of the male and female palm oil flower. The pattern of each of the flowers were classified using cased – based reasoning artificial intelligent technique. This paper shows the research of the palm oil pollination flower odour profile pattern using case-based reasoning (CBR) classifier
