    In this paper, we define left Boolean lifting property (right Boolean lifting property) LBLP (RBLP) for pseudo BL–algebra which is the property that all Boolean elements can be lifted modulo every left filter (right filter) and next, we study pseudo BL-algebra with LBLP (RBLP). We show that Quasi local, local and hyper Archimedean pseudo BL–algebra that have LBLP (RBLP) has an interesting behavior in direct products. LBLP (RBLP) provides an important representation theorem for semi local and maximal pseudo BL–algebra

    Relation between Hilbert Algebras and BE–Algebras

    Hilbert algebras are introduced for investigations in intuitionistic and other non - classical logics and BE -algebra is a generalization of dual BCK -algebra. In this paper, we investigate the relationship between Hilbert algebras and BE -algebras. In fact, we show that a commutative implicative BE -algebra is equivalent to the commutative self distributive BE -algebra, therefore Hilbert algebras and commutative self distributive BE -algebras are equivalent

    An Application of Single-Valued Neutrosophic Sets in Medical Diagnosis

    In this paper, we present the use of single-valued neutrosophic sets in medical diagnosis by using distance measures and similarity measures. Using interconnection between single-valued neutrosophic sets and symptoms of patient, we determine the type of disease. We define new distance formulas for single valued neutrosophic sets. We develop two new medical diagnosis algorithms under neutrosophic environment. We also solve a numerical example to illustrate the proposed algorithms and finally, we compare the obtained results

    Effect of adding Garlic Powder (Allium sativum) and Black Seed ( Nigella sativa) in Feed on Broiler Growth Performance and Intestinal Wall Structure

    This study was conducted to investigate the effect of garlic powder (GP) black seed (BS) and plant premix (GP and BS) in feed on broiler growth and intestinal wall structure. The result included 480 Hubbard broiler chicks( day-old) There were 4 treatment groups each consisting of 3 replicates .The four dietary treatments consisted of a control ( basal diet ) , basal diet + 0.5% GP , basal diet +0.5% BS and basal diet +0.5% plant premix (GP and BS) , to the starter and finisher diet. The experiment lasted 42 days. Body weight , body weight gain , feed intake and feed conversion ratio were determined weekly and intestinal characteristics were determined at the end of the study (42 day) .The addition of GP and BS plant premix (GP and BS) to the diet resulted in significantly higher body weight , body weight gain and feed intake as compared to that of control group. However , feed conversion ratio was not influenced by dietary treatment (p>0.05) . The villus height , crypt depth and crypt depth to villus height ratio was significantly higher in group garlic powder and plant premix (GP and BS) than other groups. While villus height , crypt depth and crypt depth to villus height ratio significantly lower in the control group compared with other treatment groups. It was found that the goblet cell were not affected by any treatment . Based on the results of this study it be could be advised to supplement broiler feed with 0.5% GP and plant premix.     DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF UV-VIS SPECTROSCOPIC METHOD OF ASSAY OF CARBAMAZEPINE IN MICROPARTICLES

    Objective: This study aimed to develop a new, rapid, robust, effective, inexpensive, and accurate UV-Vis method for the quantification analysis of carbamazepine (CBZ) in the carbamazepine-loaded microparticles.Methods: CBZ was encapsulated in ethyl cellulose microparticles by a solvent evaporation method using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as a stabilizer. Methanol was used to dissolve CBZ followed by dilution with distilled water as diluent. CBZ drug, excipients, and microparticles were subjected to specificity, solution stability, linearity, precision and accuracy to confirm and ensure the validity of this method.Results: The results showed no interference from the excipients in the selected wavelength 286 nm. It was exhibited linearity in the range 2-12 μg/ml with R2 = 0.9992. CBZ solution was stable during 24 h. Accuracy and precision were within the accepted limits (100±2%). All results were in accordance to the ICH-Q2 guideline.Conclusion: As a conclusion, CBZ could be quantified from loaded EC microparticles using UV-Vis spectrophotometer at 286 nm. Therefore, this method can be used for the quantification analysis of CBZ in CBZ-loaded microparticles can be utilized also as an alternative method to calculate CBZ in different dosage forms.Â

    Regional coherence evaluation in mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease based on adaptively extracted magnetoencephalogram rhythms

    This study assesses the connectivity alterations caused by Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in magnetoencephalogram (MEG) background activity. Moreover, a novel methodology to adaptively extract brain rhythms from the MEG is introduced. This methodology relies on the ability of empirical mode decomposition to isolate local signal oscillations and constrained blind source separation to extract the activity that jointly represents a subset of channels. Inter-regional MEG connectivity was analysed for 36 AD, 18 MCI and 26 control subjects in δ, θ, α and β bands over left and right central, anterior, lateral and posterior regions with magnitude squared coherence—c(f). For the sake of comparison, c(f) was calculated from the original MEG channels and from the adaptively extracted rhythms. The results indicated that AD and MCI cause slight alterations in the MEG connectivity. Computed from the extracted rhythms, c(f) distinguished AD and MCI subjects from controls with 69.4% and 77.3% accuracies, respectively, in a full leave-one-out cross-validation evaluation. These values were higher than those obtained without the proposed extraction methodology

    A psychometric property of the attitudes toward health care teamwork scale among university students

    Background: Teamwork improves self-reporting efficiency on inter-professional practice. It can also increase the self-confidence, awareness, and the ability of members to manage high-risk situations. The aim of this study was to translate and assess psychometrically the attitudes toward healthcare teamwork scale; adopted from previous studies. Methods: This cross sectional study consisted of 200 students who were recruited from the nursing and medical schools in Tehran. Convenience sampling method was used to select subjects. Initial instrument comprised 15 items with Likert type response. The impact score, content validity index (CVI) and content validity ratio (CVR) were assessed and an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used to extract factors. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to confirm the factorial structure of the questionnaire using SPSS (version 19) and Amos (version 23), respectively. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated using Cronbach�s alpha coefficient and test-re-test. Results: Eleven items were considered valid on the basis of impact score of more than 1.5, CVR above 0.62, and CVI above 0.7. The exploratory factor analysis deemed all the 11 items valid. With respect to the eigenvalue above one for each factor, three factors were extracted. This instrument had 55 of variance in the attitude toward healthcare teamwork scale. Conclusions: The results of this study are a suitable evidence on the strength of the factor structure and good reliability for the psychometric property of the attitudes toward health careteamworkscale. The results of this study can be used by education centers and institutes to assess student�s attitudes towards healthcare teamwork. © 2018, Author(s)
