Verón en el año 2000

En el año 1968 un equipo interdisciplinario coordinado por Eliseo Verón y que incluía al autor de esta nota diseñó y produjo en Buenos Aires una exposición/experiencia estética "El año 2000" en una prestigiosa galería de arte que generó a la vez datos demográficos y opiniones acerca del futuro en una amplia muestra de la población. Si bien los datos recogidos (información demográfica y opiniones de unos 12000 individuos) acabaron perdiéndose en el tiempo y la política, este articulo detalla forma y proceso de esa exposición.This article describes the structure and process of a participative public experience conceived and developed by a team led by Eliseo Veron that included the author of this note, the exhibit "THE YEAR 2000". It took place in Buenos Aires in 1968, at a top-rated art gallery, both as an esthetic experience and as a vehicle for a survey project on views about the future. While the data (correlating demographic information and opinions about the future of over 12000 individuals) was lost, the description of that exhibit may remain as an example of that extremely creative decade in Argentina, cut short by military regimes

Utilizing as a lens the interpersonal implications of physical interpersonal distances in social contexts (a set of variables present during the professional discourse during the 1960s and 1970s, to then fade away), this article explores interactive process displayed by the protagonic couple in Bela Bartok\u27s opera Bluebeard Castle, an exercise aimed at underlining the value of maintaining proxemics as an explicit level of observation for clinical practice and interpersonal research

Transformaciones: una propuesta para cambios narrativos en psicoterapia.

When problematic-symptomatic behaviors are conceived as embedded, retained, and mantained in collective stories, therapy can be described as the transformative process by which patients, families, and therapists co-generate qualitative changes in those stories. An emphasis on narratives allows one to specify further how those transformations unfold at the more “micro” level of the exchanges that take place troughout the consultation. To that especification is devoted the core of this essay, which closes with a discussion of the clinical, training, and, especially, research potentials of this systematization.Si concebimos las conductas problemáticas o sintomáticas como engarzadas y sustentadas por historias colectivas, podemos describir la terapia como un proceso transformativo a través del cual los pacientes, las familias y los terapeutas co-generan cambios cualitativos en tales historias. El énfasis en las narrativas permite especificar cómo estas transformaciones se producen al nivel más “micro” de los intercambios que se producen a través del diálogo en la consulta. Este trabajo propone una sistematización específica de este proceso, para finalizar con una discusión acerca del potencial clínico, de entrenamiento y de investigación
