Analyzing the Impact of Service Quality on Satisfaction in E-Banking Services- An Empirical Study
Customer satisfaction is now taking as a core issue in all the service oriented sectors and especially, banking institutions have considered this as a base point due to heavy competition and proffering higher services through digital and electronic mode. Even though they have offered better service, satisfaction level towards these E-banking services among the customers is not dynamic because of  not having adequate knowledge among them  in using these services which clearly reflected the under usage of customer knowledge management by the banking authorities. Taking into consideration, this study focusing the effect of E-Banking Services on customer satisfaction particularly in Public sector Banks of India through 667 customers selected through simple random sampling technique by getting the opinion through self administered questionnaire. Tools like Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Percentage Analysis, Karl Pearsonâs Correlation, Multiple Regression Analysis, Comparing mean test were carried out and the result revealed that there existed a positive association between the factors under E-Banking Services and demographic variables too with the Customer Satisfaction and all factors were highlighted as a forecaster for Satisfaction
Usage, Utilization, Usefulness (U3 Model) and Challenges Faced in Social Networking Sites by Academicians
The study aims to determine if academicians from professional colleges use SNS Â to determine an association between demographic variables and factors. Variables and factors such as the purpose of SNS use, benefits of using SNS, improvement in factors of academic performance, challenges faced by academicians, and benefits of SNS in research work. The research method has used a survey with a questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to the academicians in selected professional colleges in and around Pune city, and responses were collected. The study observed that most faculties from professional colleges have accounts and are familiar with different SNS. It gives the ranking of SNS by Garrettâs Ranking Technique as per the personal and academic use of SNS by academicians. Academicians get various benefits from using SNS, whereas they also face some challenges while using SNS. It is discussed with percentage analysis. Using ANOVA and PAIRED SAMPLE âtâ TEST found a significant association between the Demographic variables and the factors under usage of Social Networking Sites. The factors especially considered towards satisfaction using Social Networking Sites by the academicians were analyzed using multiple regression analysis.https://dorl.net/dor/20.1001.1.20088302.2021.19.2.10.
A rare case report of oral prednisolone dependence in a middle aged man
Dependence is an uncommon, but potentially sinister complication of corticosteroid therapy. prednisolone was the most frequently implicated corticosteroid in steroid dependence. Here we report a rare case of oral prednisolone dependence in middle aged man who had chronic asthma
Implementation of Deep CNN Model for the Detection of Plant Leaf Disease
The potato is the most important tuber crop in the world, and it is grown in about 125 different nations. Potato is the crop that is most commonly consumed by a billion people worldwide, virtually every day, behind rice and wheat. However, a number of bacterial and fungal diseases are causing the potato crop's quality and yield to decline. Potato Leaf diseases must be promptly identified and prevented to increase production. Various researchers look for solutions to protect plants instead of traditional processes which take more time. Recent technological developments have thrown up many alternates to traditional methods which are labour intensive. The application of AlexNet model Deep Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) to recognise diseases in potato plants avoids the disadvantages of selecting disease spot features artificially and makes more objective the plant disease feature extraction. It improves research efficiency and speeds up technology transformation. Accuracies ranging from 85% - to 95% were obtained using AlexNet model Deep
An approach to obtain specific polyclonal antisera to Xanthomonas campestris pv. cyamopsidis and its potential application in indexing of infected seeds of guar
Clusterbean seed health testing is warranted since the pathogen (Xanthomonas campestris pv. cyamopsidis (Xccy)) is seed-borne and seed-transmitted. A polyclonal antibody was developed in rabbit via subcutaneous and intramuscular injections and characterized for sensitivity, specificity and its applicability to ELISA which: (i) was sensitive in detecting as few as 102 cells mlâ1 at a titre of 1:4000; (ii) was specific, since it reacted only with Xccy and not with other xanthomonads; (iii) reacted both with Xccy cells and culture filtrate, indicating that the antigenic determinant is a secretory component; (iv) was applicable and reliable in seed health testing since it reacted only with infected seeds and plant materials and not with healthy seeds and (v) a purified fraction of antibody was virulent-specific since heat-denatured and avirulent isolates were not detected. The ELISA thus developed is highly reproducible and therefore suitable for the evaluation of the potential disease status of seeds and plant health, which is appropriate for routine seed health testing
Homologous overexpression of hydrogenase and glycerol dehydrogenase in Clostridium pasteurianum to enhance hydrogen production from crude glycerol
This study reports engineering of a hypertransformable variant of C. pasteurianum for bioconversion of glycerol into hydrogen (H2). A functional glycerol-triggered hydrogen pathway was engineered based on two approaches: (1) increasing product yield by overexpression of immediate enzyme catalyzing H2 production, (2) increasing substrate uptake by overexpression of enzymes involved in glycerol utilization. The first strategy aimed at overexpression of hydA gene encoding hydrogenase, and the second one, through combination of overexpression of dhaD1 and dhaK genes encoding glycerol dehydrogenase and dihydroxyacetone kinase. These genetic manipulations resulted in two recombinant strains (hydA ++ /dhaD1K ++) capable of producing 97% H2 (v/v), with yields of 1.1 mol H2/mol glycerol in hydA overexpressed strain, and 0.93 mol H2/mol glycerol in dhaD1K overexpressed strain, which was 1.5 fold higher than wild type. Among two strains, dhaD1K ++ consumed more glycerol than hydA ++ which proves that overexpression of glycerol enzymes has enhanced glycerol intake rate
Ferromagnetic to spin glass cross over in (La,Tb)_{2/3}Ca_{1/3}MnO_{3}
In the series La_{2/3-x}Tb_{x}Ca_{1/3}MnO_{3}, it is known that the
compositions are ferromagnetic for smaller values of x and show spin glass
characteristics at larger values of x. Our studies on the magnetic properties
of various compositions in the La_{2/3-x}Tb_{x}Ca_{1/3}MnO_{3} series show that
the cross over from ferromagnetic to spin glass region takes place above x ~
1/8. Also, a low temperature anomaly at 30 K, observed in the ac susceptibility
curves, disappears for compositions above this critical value of x. A mixed
phase region coexists in the narrow compositional range 0.1 <= x <= 0.125,
indicating that the ferromagnetic to spin glass cross over is not abrupt.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Economics of Biobutanol: A Review
ABSTRACT Due to rapid depletion of fossil fuels and fluctuating market prices of crude oil, extensive research is going on worldwide to find out alternative renewable fuels that can either completely replace the fossil fuels or that can be blended in certain proportions with the fossil fuels without having major modifications in the engines. The most popular alternative liquid fuels are biodiesel and ethanol. However, both of these have limitations that they can be blended with petro-diesel and gasoline only up to 20%. They also suffer from other limitations such as separation from petrol at low temperature and low heat content that reduces economy of blended fuel. A new alternative fuel that has emerged in recent past is biobutanol, which overcomes the problems faced with biodiesel and bioethanol. Biobutanol is manufactured through the process of ABE (acetone-butanol-ethanol) fermentation using various substrates. In this review, we have compared various processes and the substrates used by them from viewpoint of unit price of the butanol. This analysis is based on published literature, but still gives a view into the niche areas for improving economy of the ABE fermentation process and the biobutanol fuel
