The first light of Mini-MegaTORTORA wide-field monitoring system
Here we describe the first light of the novel 9-channel wide-field optical
monitoring system with sub-second temporal resolution, Mini-MegaTORTORA, which
is being tested now at Special Astrophysical Observatory on Russian Caucasus.
The system is able to observe the sky simultaneously in either wide (~900
square degrees) or narrow (~100 square degrees) fields of view, either in clear
light or with any combination of color (Johnson B, V or R) polarimetric filters
installed, with exposure times ranging from 100 ms to 100 s. The primary goal
of the system is the detection of rapid -- with sub-second characteristic
time-scales -- optical transients, but it may be also used for studying the
variability of the sky objects on longer time scales.Comment: 9 pages, 9 figures, based on the talk presented on "Modern stellar

STRUCTURE OF THE PROJECT-ORIENTED ORGANIZATION ENERGY ENTROPY
This study presents the universal formalization of energy entropy for various organizations and its expression for project-oriented organizations. The energy entropy of organizations is determined by information entropy, total energy and the ratio of the achieved level of energy efficiency to the «ideal» level. Entropy is viewed as a measure of uncertainty in the information and organizational space. In the information space, it determines the measure of the missing information for making decisions. In the organizational space, entropy determines the level of entrepreneurial energy that is necessary for the successful operation of an organization in the implementation of projects and programs. The relationship between energy entropy and informational (structural) entropy of project-oriented organizations is established. It is determined that when adding a new project to the current totality, the organization must ensure a balance between the growth of uncertainty (information entropy) and energy efficiency. The method of «decomposition» of the total energy entropy of project-oriented organizations in the form of the sum of local energy entropies for projects is presented. The effect of adding a new project to the structure of a project-oriented organization on its integrated energy entropy is investigated. The presented results form a new look at the qualitative assessment of both a single project and the entire set of projects of a project-oriented organization

Study of thermoelastoplastic contact deformation of production tooling mixed structures
A calculation technique based on the unified methodological approach is proposed for the analysis of thermoelastoplastic contact deformation of mixed structures. The proposed numerical technique involves the finite element method. The problem of stress-strain state evaluation for one class of mixed shrouded half-hot extrusion dies is considered. Recommendations on production tooling design are give
Cool spots on the surface of the active giant PZ Mon
Based on the multiband (BVRIJHKL) photometric observations of the active red
giant PZ Mon performed for the first time in the winter season of 2017-2018, we
have determined the main characteristics of the spotted stellar surface in a
parametric three-spot model. The unspotted surface temperature is Teff=4730 K,
the temperature of the cool spots is Tspot=3500 K, their relative area is about
41%, and the temperature of the warm spots is Twarm=4500 K with a maximum
relative area up to 20%. The distribution of spots over the stellar surface has
been modeled. The warm spots have been found to be distributed at various
longitudes in the hemisphere on the side of the secondary component and are
most likely a result of its influence.Comment: 5 pages, 7 figure
Assessment of load influence of the Akademik Vernadsky Antarctic station on the quality of adjacent marine area
Discharge of pollutants into Argentine Archipelago marine environment is assessed and the discharge loads are calculated as a follow-up of the work performed at the Ukrainian Antarctic Station “Akademik Vernadsky”. The calculations were made on the basis of the model used for development of “The Procedure for Accelerated Inventory of Environmental Pollution Sources”. Basic points of the used method-model are described to show its capacity to develop the measures and priorities to reduce pollution of the adjacent sea areas. Comparison is made between the calculated discharge value and the experimental data. The proper comparison of calculated data with experimental results makes it possible to come to the conclusion about the possibility to use the Procedure in practice to assess the effect of the Ukrainian Antarctic Station on the marine environment. The nomograms presented in the paper/report can be used for such assessment.
