A free-piston Stirling engine/linear alternator controls and load interaction test facility
A test facility at LeRC was assembled for evaluating free-piston Stirling engine/linear alternator control options, and interaction with various electrical loads. This facility is based on a 'SPIKE' engine/alternator. The engine/alternator, a multi-purpose load system, a digital computer based load and facility control, and a data acquisition system with both steady-periodic and transient capability are described. Preliminary steady-periodic results are included for several operating modes of a digital AC parasitic load control. Preliminary results on the transient response to switching a resistive AC user load are discussed
Pengaruh Manajemen Peternak Terhadap Efesiensi Reproduksi Sapi Bali Di Kabupaten Pringsewu Provinsi Lampung
The aim of this research was to determine the effect of farmer management on Balicattle reproduction efficiency in Pringsewu Regency, Lampung Province. This studywas conducted in August—September 2015 to 108 farmers and 143 Bali with censusmethod. Data were analyzed by logistic regression and multiple regression. The results showed that the CR was 51,75% with kind of grass that negativelyassociated with factor value 0,199, wall of cow's pen that positively associated withfactor value 1,455, and sanitation of cow's pen that positively associated with factorvalue 0,510, body conditioning score that negatively associated with factor value0,533 and first mating age that negatively associated with factor value 0,059. The CIwas 416,69 ± 70,03 days with farmer's reason that negatively associated with factorvalue 28,379, floor of cow's pen that positively associated with factor value 19,880,age of weaning calf that positively associated with factor value 0,076, first mating agethat positively associated with factor value 0,972, and state of reproduction thatnegatively associated with factor value 125,306. The S/C was 1,76 with farmereducation that negatively associated with factor value 0,200, large of cow's pen thatnegatively associated with factor value 0,016, and sanitation of cow's pen thatnegatively associated with factor value 0,297. The RB was 18,18% with farmer'sduration that negatively associated with factor value 0,059, the amount of water thatnegatively associated with factor value 0,058, large of cow's pen that negativelyassociated with factor value 0,109 and sanitation of cow's pen that negativelyassociated with factor value 1,154
Photo-reduced route of polyaniline nanofiber synthesis with embedded silver nanoparticles
AbstractThis work presents a method on the preparation and performance of four silver (Ag) concentrations in polyaniline (PANI) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanocomposite blend (PNPAg). The synthesis of Ag nanoparticles is first performed by photo reduction and then aniline is polymerized in Ag-PVA matrix. Morphological analysis by SEM and TEM reveals formation of nanoparticles with diameter 30–70nm. Nanocomposites with lower Ag concentrations have highly aligned PNPAg nanofibers of diameter 50–80nm and agglomeration for the one with higher concentrations. In addition, FTIR spectra show a systematic change in its characteristic peaks with increase in Ag contents. The crystallinity study depicts the tetragonal crystal structure of metallic nanocomposites having same particle sizes as obtained in SEM and TEM. In order to explore the possible applications of these nanocomposites in electronic industry, their electrical properties are investigated. The in-plane I-V characteristics indicate a transition of polymer nanocomposites from non-ohmic to ohmic material with increase of Ag content. The room temperature electrical conductivities are found to be in the range of 4.74×10−4 to 3.96×10−2S/m with no major difference in activation energy for all nanocomposites
Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Angka Kebuntingan (Conception Rate) pada Sapi Potong Setelah Dilakukan Sinkronisasi Estrus di Kabupaten Pringsewu
This study of the influential factors of conception rate on cattle after estrous synchronization inPringsewu Regency was held in November 2012–February 2013. This study used 278 cattlesowned by 229 breeders. This study aimed to determine the factors and factor number whichinfluenced to the conception rate after estrous synchronization in Pringsewu Regency, Province ofLampung. The method used in this study was method of census. The data analysis used in thisstudy was analysis of regression. Before doing the data analysis, coding of data of inseminatorsand breeders was done to make the analysis easier, and then being analysed on program of SPSS(Statistics Packet for Social Science). The result of this study showed that the conception rate ofbeef cattles after estrous synchronization in Pringsewu Regency was 69,42%, including in goodcategory. The factors which influenced the conception rate and associated positively were thefrequency of giving pasturage with the factor number of 3, 386, the amount of giving pasturagewith the factor number of 0,196, the shape of stable walls with the factor number of 10,371, thegiving concentrate with the factor number of 4,011, the knowledge of estrous and inseminationwith the factor number of 7,579, while associated negatively were giving water to a large numberof factors 0,181, and the knowledge of hereditary breeding with the factor number of 3,707
Calving Interval Sapi Perah Laktasi Di Balai Besar Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak (Bbptu-hpt) Baturraden Purwokerto Jawa Tengah
The aim of this research are to know calving interval and factor´s at lactation dairy cattle in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden Purwokerto Central Java. This research was conducted on April 29 th -- May 13 th 2014 to on 151 heads lactating dairy cattle. This research used sensus method, data obtained was real data that present and accuread in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden. Analysis data used regression analysis with SPSS (Statistik Packet for Social Science). The result showed that the calving interval at lactating dairy cattle in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden is 14.80 ± 3.36 months. Factor that effect calving interval at lactating dairy cattle in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden from the herds man level are the number of cattle that maintain positively associated with factor value 0.177 and the distance between the cow shed with office that negatively assosiated with factor value 0.243. factor that efect calving interval on dairy cattle at the level of cattle are the age dairy cattle that positively associated with factor value 0,247;, periode lactation that negatively assosiated with factor value 0,287;, mating partus that positively associated with factor value 0,057;, lactating period that positively associated with factor value 0,904;, and dry priod that positively associated with factor value 0,961
