Language is the main tool that helps people to communicate their thoughts, emotions, likes and dislikes to others. Research about the origin of the language are often biased. Hence the origin of the language cannot be determined. In order to understand the language, linguists classify it in various ways based on its nature, character, usage, number of users etc. Among these, the languages of the world are divided into independent, conjunctive, and so on. Although many languages have appeared in the world, only a few languages have survived. Among the languages that have survived, some have lost its value as spoken language and living only as literary languages. Among the languages that appear, grow and disappear, Tamil is the most important language that appeared in ancient times and has grown with influence and is still alive today. This Tamil language, which has an ancient grammatical and literary richness and the unique feature of adapting itself according to the times, has two different linguistic elements in itself, grafting and conjugation. Pointing to the interdisciplinary nature of Tamil, which is often labeled as a hybrid language, this article is to analyse whether Tamil is a conjugation or grafting

The study of the basic and fundamental purpose of sex and sexuality is the “continuation of progeny” and the survival of human race. There are so many medicines indicated in our Siddha system for the treatment of male infertility there is a need for much more effective drug with easy affordablity and availablity. “Nilapanai kilangu chooram” was indicated as a best drug for male infertility in “C.Kannusamy Parambarai Vaithiyam. The ingredients of “Nilapanai kilangu chooranam” will be an effective drug for spermatogenesis without causing any adverse effects. The drug “Nilapanai kizhangu chooranam” was prepared as per the classical Siddha literature, It fulfills all the standardization parameters of Chooranam as mentioned in AYUSH guidelines. The results of biochemical analysis showed the presence of acid and basic radicals in the sample. The presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, triterpenoids were identified in the choloroform and methanolic extract of Nilapanai kizhangu chooranam through Phytochemical analysis.FT-IR Study results exhibits the presence of some organic functional groups such as alcohols, phenols, alkanes, amines, nitro compounds, aromatics, alcohols, alkyl halides, carboxylic acids.SEM analysis showed the objects of sizes ranging from 200nm to 500 nm. XRD pattern of the trail drug Nilapanai kizhangu chooranam shows some good crystalinity, Based on OECD 423 the trail drug Nilapanai kizhangu chooranam is considered as non toxic up to the dose of 2000mg/kg.it is proved that the drug Nilapanai kizhangu chooranam was pharamacollogicaly evaluated for the property of aphrodisiac, spermatogenic and anti oxidant activity

Suppression of extreme events and chaos in a velocity-dependent potential system with time-delay feedback

The foremost aim of this study is to investigate the influence of time-delayed feedback on extreme events in a non-polynomial system with velocity dependent potential. To begin, we investigate the effect of this feedback on extreme events for four different values of the external forcing parameter. Among these four values, in the absence of time-delayed feedback, for two values, the system does not exhibit extreme events and for the other two values, the system exhibits extreme events. On the introduction of time-delayed feedback and varying the feedback strength, we found that extreme events get suppressed as well as get induced. When the feedback is positive, suppression occurs for a larger parameter region whereas in the case of negative feedback it is restricted to the limited parameter region. We confirm our results through Lyapunov exponents, probability density function of peaks, dmaxd_{max} plot and two parameter probability plot. Finally, we analyze the changes in the overall dynamics of this system under the influence of time-delayed feedback. We notice that complete suppression of chaos occurs in the considered system for higher values of the time-delayed feedback.Comment: 28 pages, 16 figures, 1 table, Accepted for Publication Chaos, Solitons & Fractal

Evaluation of Prognostic Scoring System in Preparation Peiotonits: Comparative study between APACHE II and Manheim’s Peritonitis Index Systems

CONCLUSION AND SUMMARY: • APACHE II score is the current gold standard for assessing the severity of acute perforation peritonitis. • The mortality rate in our study of 50 patients was found to be 18 %. • An APACHE II score of 15 and above predicted mortality in our study population with a positive predictive value of 100%. • The overall accuracy of this score was found to be 100%. • APACHE II score is more physiological in emergency settings compared to Manheim’s score. • Compared to the MPI score, APACHE II score could be used serially to monitor the patient in the immediate post operative period. • Patient treatment can be optimized by appropriate intensive supportive care when it is determined to be needed. • APACHE II score can triage the patients with the treatment directed to the most effective patient. • Scoring patients into groups based on risk could help future clinical research by comparing therapeutic interventions in similar patients. Of the two scoring systems evaluated, the APACHE II seems to be better suited to achieve these goals

Estimation of Compost Stability During Rotary Drum Composting of Municipal Solid Waste

oai:ojs2.gjestenv.com:article/2Studies are conducted to evaluate the stability of compost prepared by three combinations (C/N 16, 22 and 30) of grass cutting, mix vegetable waste, cattle dung, food waste, paper waste and saw waste in a rotary drum composter. Variations in key stability parameters were observed to assess the stability of compost. The decrease in CO2 evolution rates for the C/N 16, 22 and 30 strongly recommended the viability of rotary drum for all kind of municipal organic waste with different C/N ratios. Results indicated the compost of C/N 22 with lower final Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) can be considered as the very mature compost with a Solvita® maturity index of 8 and were ready for usage as a soil conditioner. Therefore, it can be suggested that rotary drum composting of mixed organic waste at initial C/N ratio of 22 can produce stable compost within 20 days of composting

AbstractThe paper presents the synthesis of complex combinations of Cu(II) and Zn(II) with Schiff base obtained by the condensation reaction of 4-aminoantipyrine with benzaldehyde and 2-amino-3-methyl-butanoicacid. Structural features of synthesized compounds were determined by analytical and spectral techniques. Binding of synthesized complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT DNA) was studied by spectroscopic methods and viscosity measurements. Experimental results indicated the ability of the complexes to form adducts with DNA and to distort the double helix by changing the base stacking. Oxidative DNA cleavage activities of the complexes were studied with supercoiled (SC) pUC19 DNA using gel electrophoresis. The in vitro antimicrobial screening effects of the investigated compounds were monitored by the disk diffusion method. The synthesized Schiff base complexes exhibited higher antimicrobial activity than the respective free Schiff base. The in vitro cytotoxicity of synthesized complexes against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) tumor model was investigated using trypan blue dye exclusion assay. The complexes possessed significant cytotoxic activity
