    The Determinants of Capital Structure in Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the Firms’ Size As a Moderating Variable

    The determinants of capital structure have been debated among financial management researchers. This debate is caused by different research result about the determination of capital structure. The capital structure is a financing mix of short-term debt, longterm debt, and equity. This study investigates the determinants of capital structure in Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Tangibility, profitability, growth opportunities, business risk are used as independent variables, capital structure proxied by debt to equity ratio (DER) as dependent variables and firm size as a moderating variable. The population in this study is Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2010–2016; sampling technique used was purposive sampling and data analysis was done using panel data regression. The result shows that there is no significant impact of tangibility, profitability, and business risk to capital structure. The capital structure is significantly positively affected by the growth opportunities at Manufacturing Companies. Meanwhile, firm size as a moderating variable strengthens the positive and significant relationship between asset structure and capital structure. On the basis of these empirical findings, the determinants of capital structure are influenced by the growth of the firms.     The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the subject compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation of elements in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This research was of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The samples of this research were the students of class X.4 as the experimental class and students of class X.3 as the control class. In experimental class was applied cooperative learning model type pair exchange technique, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tcount>ttable is 6,41 > 1,67 means that the application of model cooperative learning type pair exchange can improve student achievement on the subject compounds nomenclature and chemical reaction equation of elements in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru increase learning achievement category in the experimental class is based on the normalized gain score (N-Gain) relatively high at 0,73

    The development of instrument diagnostic test as a testlet model for learning difficulties detection on chemistry is a kind of reserach development which is used ADDIE model. The ADDIE model has consisted some stages such as: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Because some limitations, The research stage just until is done until Implementation stage, that use some doing trial in limited subjects used, is trialed at SMAN 12 and the istruments is done validated by some lectures of Pendidikan Kimia-FKIP, UR. The study aims to: (1) develop of instrument diagnostic test as a testlet model for learning difficulties detection on chemistry is a kind on buffer, (2) Know the learning difficulties detection using on chemistry is a kind diagnostic test model testlet instrument, (3) Know the reliability of the problem, the level of difficulty of the problem, and the differentiation of the problem. The results of the research shows that: (1) The diagnostic test instrument of developed testlet model is stated valid from material aspect, construction aspect, and language aspect, (2) students of class XI IPA 2 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru have difficulty studying on indicators 4, 5 and 6 Students of class XI IPA 3 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru have difficulty studying on indicator 2, 4, and 6. (3) reliability matter 0,55; The difficulty level of the item consists of 15 items of easy category, 12 items on medium category, and 13 items on the difficult category; The problem of differentiator of item item consists of 2 items of good category, 2 items about good category, 9 items about enough category, and 27 items about bad category

    Dua puluh empat isolat aktinomisetes hasil isolasi dari tanah gambut Riau diseleksi menggunakan metode agar disk untuk dilihat aktivitas antipatogen pada Streptococcus pyogenes menggunakan medium Triptic Soy Agar (TSA). Hasil seleksi diperoleh lima isolat aktinomisetes (MH23, L313, L18, L223 dan MH11) menghasilkan zona Bening disekitan bakteri uji. Isolat MH23 menghasilkan zona Bening tertinggi yaitu 24 mm. Kelima isolat aktinomisetes berpotensi sebagai penghasil antibiotik yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan

    The objective of the research is to achieve students learning mastery on the subject of chemical equilibrium in XI MIA class at SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru trough the applying achive learning strategy Quick On The Draw. The research form is pra-experiment design with one-shot study case. The data were collected from September 2014 – June 2015. The population of the research is all of students in XI MIA SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru which consists of 2 classes and the sample are the students in XI MIA 2 class that are selected randomly. Data were analysed to gain learning mastery in the competency knowledge, that is learning mastery individual (passed when the student reaches a value ≥ 2,67), learning mastery classical (passed if 85% of students reach 2,67), mastery of individual indicators (passed when 65% of students reach ≥ 2,67 in each indicator), mastery of each indicator (passed when 65% of students reach ≥ 2,67 in each indicator), and classical mastery indicator (passed when 75% of students reach the mastery of each indicator). Based on the final result by using mastery learning individual, 12 students are passed and 3 students did not pass, classical mastery learning gained 87.5%, individual mastery indicators is obtained by 4 students by passing all indicators and 3 students who did not pass, each mastery of indicator derived from 11 indicators, 9 indicators are passed 2 indicators are not pass and classical mastery learning gained 81.82%. The results showed that the application of active learning strategy Quick On The Draw can achieve student's learning mastery on the subject of chemical equilibrium in XI MIA class at SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru

    The laboratory is a place to conduct experiments to prove the theories given in class. This research was conducted to look at the effectiveness of management and constraints of managing a science laboratory at the junior high school (SMP) level. This research used a survey research method with a quantitative approach, while the research subjects were the Head of Laboratory Assistants from 4 junior high schools in Riau province, namely SMPN 1, SMPN 3 Kuok sub-district, SMPN 8, and SMPN 43 Pekanbaru. The data was collected by distributing a questionnaire on the effectiveness of management and use of the laboratory which was given to the head of the laboratory with as many as 117 questions. The research results obtained were the level of effectiveness of science laboratory management in the two regions, namely SMPN Kampar Regency obtained an overall average score of 87.4% while SMPN in Pekanbaru received an average result of 49.82%. Overall, the results were obtained by very good category standard value A. However, in reality there are still several problems in laboratory management, resulting in constraints on several indicators such as completeness of tools, and provision of tools and materials and the main problems occur in organizational and administrative indicators with an overall average result of 49, 82% are below the expected standard with a bad category. So it is necessary to re-evaluate and improve administrative and organizational management which is often neglected by school laboratory management so that special attention can be given to further improvements to obtain very good effective results in the future

    Thiolutin is a disulfide-containing antibiotic and anti-angiogenic compound produced by Streptomyces. Its biological targets are not known. We show that reduced thiolutin is a zinc chelator that inhibits the JAB1/MPN/Mov34 (JAMM) domain–containing metalloprotease Rpn11, a deubiquitinating enzyme of the 19S proteasome. Thiolutin also inhibits the JAMM metalloproteases Csn5, the deneddylase of the COP9 signalosome; AMSH, which regulates ubiquitin-dependent sorting of cell-surface receptors; and BRCC36, a K63-specific deubiquitinase of the BRCC36-containing isopeptidase complex and the BRCA1–BRCA2-containing complex. We provide evidence that other dithiolopyrrolones also function as inhibitors of JAMM metalloproteases
