Abstract: IMPROVING ABILITY TO DESCRIBE OF STRUGGLE THE INDONESIAN HEROES IN THE DUTCH AND JAPANESE COLONIAL ERA BY USING THE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL OF MAKE A MATCH. The objective of this research is to increase the ability to describe of struggle the Indonesian heroes in the Dutch and Japanese colonial era. This research was a class. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, every cycle consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. The conclusion of the cooperative model make a match can increase the improving ability to describe of stuggle the Indonesian heroes in the Dutch and Japanese colonial era. Abstrak: PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENDESKRIPSIKAN PERJUANGAN PARA TOKOH PEJUANG MASA PENJAJAHAN BELANDA DAN JEPANG DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mendeskripsikan perjuangan para tokoh pejuang masa penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Simpulan bahwa model kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mendeskripsikan perjuangan para tokoh pejuang masa penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang.
