Have Spanish companies built greater entrepreneurship after privatization?

This study analyses some of the strategic and organizational changes experienced in public firms following privatization in its double facet: sale of companies and deregulation. Specifically, we analyse the process of innovation in terms of products, processes and organization. We also look into the development of new businesses and strategic renewal, which in the end shape the entrepreneurial capacity of a company. A sample of Spanish firms which were privatized between 1985 and 2000 shows that after privatization, these companies have experienced a significant increase in entrepreneurship. These changes are even more appreciable when a high sector competition is added to the ownership shift. Once they join the private sector, their level of product, process and organizational innovation is higher. They also develop new businesses at national level, reinforce their international activity and embark on strategic renewal processes by shedding the lesser profitable businesses and modifying their competitive strategy so as to gain efficiency

How triathletes mount their bikes after first transition (T1). A proposal of classification

A proposal is submit for the classification referring to the different ways in which triathletes mount their bikes to start pedalling. This action happens at the end of the transition area (T1) after having gone across on foot, with the bikes at their side, or, led across by hand, in a specific way (Fernández, Romero, Merino and April, 2015). These are unique aspects of this sport, compared to other sports in which a bike is also used. The purpose of this research was concentrates in describing and classifying the motor behaviours that occur at the end of the transition area, in front of the “judge’s line”. This study was bassed on participants of 3 Spanish Elite Championships of different distances (407 triathletes). It was filmed in the moment when they picked up their bikes, passed through the transition area and mounted their bikes. Personal aircraft: a more affordable luxury

Access to luxury products has been limited traditionally to the upper classes. Products and services related to the means of transport have usually been considered of luxury and industrialization has made accessible to much of the population in developed countries. An emerging market is personal aircraft which is currently restricted to certain layers of society but it is expected that their use will represent the next great advance in transport. A wide family of singularity-free cosmological models

In this paper a family of non-singular cylindrical perfect fluid cosmologies is derived. The equation of state corresponds to a stiff fluid. Estudio comparativo de los ciclos de contratación y salario del sector agrícola y el sector de la construcción. Navarra, 1791-1800

Este trabajo compara los ciclos anuales del trabajo urbano (de los canteros) y el agrícola (de la trilogía mediterránea). Los resultados muestran una complementariedad no sólo entre ambos sectores sino también entre las diferentes labores requeridas por los productos agrícolas. Les résultats montrent une complémentarité non seulement entre les deux secteurs, mais également entre les différents travaux requis pour les produits agricoles. D'un autre côté, l'étude de l'évolution du salaire nous apprend que le salaire des tailleurs de pierre présente un caractère saisonnier dû à l'époque de l'année, tandis que le salaire agricole est déterminé par le type de travail.This work compares the annual cycles of stone-cutters' urban work and the agricultural cycles of the Mediterranean trilogy. The results show there is complementarity not only between both sectors but also between different types of work required by agricultural products. On the other hand, a study on the evolution of salaries reflects that stone-cutters' salaries are very stable due to the time of the year, while agricultural salaries are determined by the type of work
